Check-in and check-out were very simple - I didn't need any help from staff, although their details were provided should I have had any issues. The room had everything I needed and was light and airy. The bed was comfier than I expected, the shower was good and the fridge, kettle and microwave were handy. All-round perfect for a self-sufficient visit to a new place.

It could have done with a chair, I ate my breakfast in the morning perched on the end of the bed which was a bit precarious, but that's nitpicking!

The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have the fridge in the room so I didn't have to get up for breakfast and could eat in my own time, plus store my own food. Shower was excellent and the room was well appointed. Minimal noise from the pub downstairs and I slept well.

Most of the things that weren't quite ideal were down to the style and age of the building - such as not have a window that opened and the stairs being quite steep. I would give the feedback that spare toilet rolls should be kept in the room (only half a roll in there when I arrived) as the place wasn't always staffed so asking for more could have been awkward if I'd run out when the pub downstairs wasn't open.

Homely pub with friendly host and great service. Very helpful and provided us with juice, cereal and yoghurt for breakfast which we appreciated. Fish and chip shop next door was handy for dinner. Nice, quiet location.

Quite a few stairs to carry bags up, but it didn't worry us.

The double room that I booked was nice and clean and had a lovely, cosy and homely feel to it, down to the beautiful decor. The ensuite bathroom was clean with a good working shower and lots of hot water. I also enjoyed the extra fridge and microwave facilities. The host was very friendly and accommodating and ensured that I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I enjoyed a very peaceful rest at this place.

Everything was ok

Cereal, tea etc. left for breakfast, which was enough to get you going. Room was good - plenty of room, comfortable bed, clean and a good shower Staff were pleasant (mainly Sophie). Area was quiet, plenty of birdsong.

One thing I would say is that the windows need a coat of paint.

From a friendly welcome to helpful checkout it was a super smooth stay. We had a lovely bright, clean room and comfy bed, with everything we could need (including fresh milk!). It's easy to come and go and we had a peaceful night.

Nothing.

I had very little expectations as I usually book a travelodge and they are value for money but soleless and not always pet friendly. The queens was friendly very clean and pet friendly. The room was warm and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent. Couldn’t fault the place

Can’t think of anything really. The stairs were a tad steep but I’m old and not too fleet of foot.

Nice and quiet, breakfast available in the room so you can have it when you like. Accommodation access for guests was free and easy so you really could do what you wanted when you wanted.

Really nothing to complain about, the fan in the w.c. didn't work but I am sure this is in hand and being in the trade I know how hard it is for these little jobs to get done these days
