The reasons I book this hotel are :- We love the size of the rooms. the facilities in the room, plenty of electric sockets which are well placed for charging phones etc. Pet friendly. plenty of towels and shower products. extra pillows. friendly staff. Easy drive from my home. Menu which has a good choice of food for Lunch, snack and evening meal. Love the buffet breakfast, which is served until 1000hrs. Plenty of parking spaces, near the entrance.

Bathrooms are good with plenty of shower and soap products ,but could be refreshed, decor wise, but all facilities worked.

Lovely entrance room was nice with couple of little issues but did not spoil our stay. Had evening meal which was amazing staff lovely . Breakfast was well catered for too. Loved the koi carp .

Two small things re room wall next to one of beds had torn paper but no big deal and carpet beside chair needs cleaned. There was a wedding reception on which made the entrance noisy would have been nice to have a small residents bar away from the guests at wedding. These are our observation but would still come back as loved overall stay.

Spacious bar/ reception area with plenty of seating. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The set dinner menu hasn’t changed for almost 12 months. It would be nice to see something different on the menu. The food is very good though and great value for money.

The hotel is stunning. We ended up with a patio room and it was perfect. The room was very clean and a great size. The restaurant on site was brilliant there was a big selection on the menu as well as plenty drink and cocktail options. There is plenty parking on site also.

The room was beautiful and modern however the bathroom could do with an update. While it was clean it was very outdated and the shower head was very old!! The service at the restaurant was also quite slow between courses and paying, the staff were brilliant!! But I can only guess they probably need more staff on.

Food was lovely, room spacious. Great location, lovely staff. A Bulb was out in the dressing part of bathroom and was sorted quickly, after we reported it.

Although the food was good, the presentation and taste of certain dishes was not consistent, depending on who was in the kitchen on a particular day. The bed making also seemed to go down hill the later in the week it was made. That is to say that the sheet started to not cover the top part of the bed and the mattress protector slowly worked it's way down the bed too and was never moved back properly. More dog friendly dining tables required please too.

The breakfast was fine (delicious eggs), but the dinners were excellent. Exceeded my expectations and I will absolutely use the hotel again due to the quality of the evening meals on the package. Chef was also very accommodating when I asked for some changes to the meal. I think the main bar & lounge area is lovely, the fireplaces and general look was very appealing. I also enjoyed seeing dogs in the hotel. I really loved the koi pond, I actually mentioned this and the high quality of the food to people. Excellent.

I think the room cleanliness needed a little more attention to detail. Unwashed cutlery and glassware was placed back dirty on the tray for reuse once, the bedroom bin was emptied but no liner replaced once, the sanitary bin was not emptied one day. Not the end of the world, but perhaps the staff are a little rushed so missing some details. If I’m being overly picky, I think the service could be speeded up a little bit when dining.

We just stayed the one night. The room was OK, nothing special but everything necessary was there & the curtains were super blackout. Breakfast was buffet-style but I thought the food was pretty poor, disappointing. It was a Saturday morning so they were very busy but there were plenty of staff so food/drink was quickly replenished. For what we paid I can't grumble but wouldn't stay again.

When we arrived the room was like an oven as for some reason the heating was turned up to maximum, it was September, not even cold, so the first thing was did was to turn it off & open the window.

Comfortable and clean, quiet area and great for parking. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Room was nice. A couple of lights did not work but t we didn’t need them, a few drawers wouldn’t open unless you used force to open them but we didn’t need them so left them the way they were. Breakfast set up was a bit complicated as you had to take your teacup to the water table rather than a teapot ! You then depending where your table was had to squeeze and swerve past guests either waiting to be seated or queuing for breakfast. I’m sure it could have a better setup.

food was fantastic and staff in all departments bent over backwards to make your stay as relaxing as possible. our 3rd time staying here and would recommend it for a nice overnight

Firstly the signage on the road and roundabouts has the hotels old name which I found very confusing particularly as we don't use sat nav Worse thing of all was we went to bed and found the double mattress to be very old with a metal edging and old type springs sticking out the side and when we lay on them We took the sheets off and found the mattress very old stained and something you see dumped in a skip so both of us never slept I did report this to reception and was told it would be noted but due to check out being busy we where rushed to go
