The location and all the white stuff toiletries and tea/coffee selection. Breakfast was very nice but it did take rather a long time to come. Very clean rooms. I didn't mind walking for breakfast. I just found it a little odd.

The rooms were too small, ceilings too low for over 6 foot people. Very dark, not enough room.to put own belongings. Waitresses need training, should take to person who made order rather than guests passing everything along(apart from the lady taking the orders) and receptionist not very professional. A bit overpriced.

The room was great and the decor was very stylish. The communal areas in the pub were a surprise additional feature and a wonderful place to relax after dinner

Going to different premises for breakfast was not a problem, It was a lovely day for a walk, but would have been less than 5 minutes to drive. We waited 20 minutes before we could get someone's attention to order a coffee and 40 minutes in all for breakfast. The breakfast on the whole was very good. My beans (served in a ramekin) were cold, but this was rectified when a member of staff eventually returned. A small thing, but drove me mad, as well as the couple sitting near us, was the awful noise, like nails on a chalk board, where something was rubbing on the roof of the conservatory.

Modern, fully equipped room. Old pub had been converted which made the room a quirky shape. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Black out blinds. Additional communal room downstairs which provided extra refreshments and snacks FOC. Staff in the main pub were extremely helpful and the food for both lunch and breakfast were very tasty. Large car park with plenty of parking. Outside seating area which was covered and made an ideal spot to sit and have a drink.

Nothing, met all my requirements and more

Great staff, although it's a slightly unusual setup, the main premises are around a 7 minute walk away, so if you want breakfast, you have to go to the lighthouse. The rooms themselves are really good, and the beds are super comfortable (coming from someone who struggles to sleep in strange beds normally). There are some really nice touches in the room, and it's very dog friendly 👌. There are 2 large lounge areas downstairs, which is where you will also find free tea and coffee, hot chocolate, apple juice, crisps, biscuits and bottled water along with milk flasks for your day out. You will also find board games, books and 2 large 📺 with Netflix and Disney +. You are also a 2 minute walk from the Orange tree which I would recommend, and only about 7-10 minutes walk from Thornham deli. We will definitely come back here a stay again as there really is a lot to like 👍

The cleaner didn't come in on the 3rd day we were there. But that was the only minus on an otherwise fabulous stay.

Location. Rooms beautifully decorated. Little extras lovely. Loved the complimentary top ups of crisps, biscuits etc from lounge area. Also use of coffee machine in lounge excellent as well as tea and coffee making facilities in room. Fresh milk in fridge for drinks. Bed very comfortable. Everything good quality. All the staff here and at the lifeboat inn very friendly, helpful and professional. Lovely stay overall . Breakfast at the lifeboat excellent and enjoyed the walk down the lane to get there. Very dog friendly.

As room quite small with low ceiling it did get very warm but fan provided and sash windows that could be opened.

Decorated to a high standard some quality toiletries and some lovely social areas with board games and complimentary snacks etc really good stay

The only thing that I think may improve the experience would be the fact that breakfast is in a completely seperate building 10mins walk away. It wouldn’t stop me staying again but perhaps they could offer for customers to pre order a breakfast on arrival and have it delivered in the morning or perhaps like the snacks they could put out a small selection of cereals, pastries, fruit a more continental option that doesn’t require cooking so that you could just pop downstairs instead of leaving the property entirely. Just to make it even more enjoyable. The towel rail in the bathroom didn’t have an adjustable thermostat so did heat up the room a bit and shower door didn’t close properly but again wasn’t a big deal just felt bad for the cleaner

The room was perfect in every way, stand alone bath, in room, wow! Amazing place for a romantic night. Evening meal, excellent, great service, friendly and helpful staff, it was very busy, there was a little wait for food, but great food is worth waiting for, and we had longer to enjoy our evening. Breakfast included, also excellent, really couldn’t fault any of it. A great experience.

No, perfect.

Brilliant location. Very accommodating staff, couldn't have been more helpful. There were complimentary snacks, biscuits, tea, coffee, cold milk, etc left in the downstairs lounge which was a lovely treat and a nice area to relax in. Also tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast was served in the sister hotel called the Lifeboat and what a treat that was. Ed, the waiter, was so lovely and helpful. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend.

The room was the last one available that night and was a little on the small size. We stayed in the Holly Room, but we did see other rooms in the morning, and these were much bigger. However, we were only there for one night, so this wasn't a problem.

We visited Thornham a few years ago when this was a pub! So when I came across that they had tuned it into accommodation, I was excited to visit. On check in, you head to their sister pub/hotel a very short drive/walk away (this is also where you have breakfast) We booked a Traditional Double Room for myself, partner and our dog. The room was very cosy but had everything - I am not normally fan of a small room but this ticked every box and I really liked it. The hotel is a short drive to Brancaster beach and Thornham Deli. The Orange Tree which is a must visit pub for dinner/drinks is a 2 minute walk from the Rooms! They have lots of different rooms in all different sizes - I would definitely stay here again :D

If I had to choose something, it would be very minor, but the area where you have breakfast at the Lifeboat could do with some updating / modernization

The room was beautifully done out, very comfy, tea, coffee, biscuits, water all good. The snacks, milk and juices available in the lounge area downstairs is a good idea. My husband said his eggs benedict at breakfast were great.

We were booked in the Lifeboat restaurant for dinner, but the service was a little off. The waitress forgot us after seating us and we waited nearly 40 mins for someone to take our order. Then our drinks were wrong. Got them on a bad night I guess.
