Lovely pub, staff very friendly, nice breakfast, comfortable bed.

The shower drain was clogged (Room 1) and so the water immediately began to pool in the shower tray when I turned the shower on. This was not a major issue for me as I only had 2 very quick showers while staying there, but it would have been an issue if I had needed to wash my hair as I worry the bathroom may have began to flood if I had not noticed. The room also lacked a workspace or dressing table so had I needed to do any work on my laptop, that would have been difficult, and it was tricky that there were no plug sockets close to the mirror for plugging in hairdryer, straighteners, etc.

Staff was really friendly, pub food was great, decor of the whole place is gorgeous, and the shower was just perfect.

This sounds weird, but going down the stairs from the room to the pub, at any time of day or night, seeing the "paints" of a bunch of old past men, and then opening the door to another "paint" with a face looking at you, was kinda of freaky and scary 😂. Maybe for a place called Queen's Head you could have something more feminine or women empowering, not old men looking at you. I'm sorry, but was creepy, but funny at the same time how many times I got scared in the space of 48 hours.

The location was very close to the bus station and also near to the train station. The Queen's Head is a very nice pub. Our room was very tidy and comfortable, and it had a refrigerator and an electric kettle. In the night it was quite and we slept well. We also appreciated the large shower. We loved having the delicious tea, hot chocolate, greek yoghurt and fruits for breakfast. The staff was very polite and kind.

I suppose, during the summer time it might be a little louder, when the pub extends to the garden. The food in the pub was of average quality and the kids dishes were a bit too small. We were not able to manage the central heating in the room and bathroom, but we could have asked someone.

Breakfast, complementary mini bar and good service and clean facilities.

Might have been due to my height and build but was technically two single mattresses made into a double and felt the gap in my back despite falling asleep easily. Also door to the room could do with being made sure it shuts as for some reason had closed but was still not locked or shut and anyone could have come in the room. Partly my fault for not double checking but we good if it had a thing that pulled it to close.

Everything is lovely ! The staff, the beautiful room. It smells so clean through the whole building. The breakfast was great. You can walk into Kingston along the river within 15 minutes so great location. One of my favourite hotel stays EVER. Even left us some goodies in the mini fridge which were free to use.

We had a room facing the street and the traffic can be quite loud even through the night. We still had a good rest but found it a bit difficult to fall asleep.

Very comfortable bed. Spacious room and bathroom. Good food and drink. Excellent choice for breakfast.

Parking is restricted. Only 3 spaces available on the premises. Fortunately found a space on street parking not too far away. Parking restricted to 4 hours on street between 8.30 and 6.30. We checked in just after 3.30 so paid (via app) for 4 hours and it lasted until 8.30 next morning. So not a great problem fir us. If staying more than one night then parking could be tricky. Perhaps this could be made clearer on the booking.com info about the property.

Rooms are great - good sizes and really clean. Great location. Nice touch with the free drinks in the fridge too.

Disappointed that even though I'd reserved a parking space all of them were filled up - had issues parking on the road. Also really noisy....have stayed here before in the rooms to the back of the hotel and it was quiet - this time around was woken up very early by lots of banging around - don't think it was other guests. I'll pay to upgrade my room next time around. Don't let this put you off staying here though - I do love it!!

Large spacious room, very clean, friendly staff, complimentary drinks, nice touches throughout. It's a really nice pub for food and drinks too

They kindly gave me one of the larger cabins out the back but they were easily accessible by anyone and the windows kept opening so as a solo female, I was conscious of that. Recommend the outward door to access the cabins is by key card only and fix the latches on the windows.

Was honestly not expecting it to be as good as it was. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Little touches in room were great (great taste award teas, coffees, chocolates; complimentary mini bar) bed was very comfortable, bathroom huge, room nice & warm with easy to navigate AC/Heat controls. Absolutely stunning red brick building, good soundproofing- couldnt hear any pub noise in the evening (except for kids playing in the beer garden).

Only tiny downside was the bed was 2x singles which made any sleeping across the middle/cuddles a tad uncomfortable. But the mattresses themselves were great, and it wasnt really a downside just the one thing I would have changed if I could have
