Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious with good facilities. Breakfast and evening meals were great and very good value. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. The outdoor space is beautiful.

The windows in bedroom! Very old and with limited opening (upper small lights only). I found it very hot during my stay and I was desperate for more ventilation. The accommodation is unfortunately right under the flight path of Manchester airport and flights started taking off at approximately 5:30-6:00am each day. They are very noisy. The bedroom furniture is rather old and dark. I only had two coat hangers in my wardrobe (a minor issue).

We booked a 4 poster room which was large with a seating area. Sachets of ground coffee and a cafetière was provided as well as the usual coffee, tea bags, biscuits and water. Good sized bathroom, no bath but a large walk in shower. The usual selection of cereals, yoghurt and pastries. The hot breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. There was also a good selection of alternatives to the full english, I enjoyed the smoked haddock omelette.

Nothing to dislike, but I found the quilt on the bed to be too warm which resulted in a disturbed first night. We took the quilt out of the cover on the second night.

On arrival I was quickly greeted with a smile and check in was very smooth. All the staff I met were very helpful and efficient. the dinner and breakfast was very good. Despite the cold weather outside, the rooms were all very nice and warm. The bedroom was very quiet and comfortable with water coffee etc provided. Huge car park as well. Standard check out at 11:00 am was appreciated But the thing that really stood out was the excellent staff.

maybe some bleach spray around the bath just clean it. But it did not detract from an excellent stay

The location was brilliant, lovely, characterful, and charming atmosphere with a very large garden and play area ,ideal for families. The staff were very helpful ,friendly and chatty they made our stay at The Golden Pheasant a pleasant and relaxing visit. The food was very good and we had a lovely room which even though by a road was very quiet during the night.

Maybe the fact that the rooms don't have their own irons and ironing boards, there was only one and you had to share it with the other people staying.

The service from staff was great! They were super accommodating with our early check ins. The location to where we needed to be was perfect. The rooms are set out very well and compliment the environs. Room complimentaries are of a good quality. Breakfast was nice with a good variety on offer.

My room (front of building) was very warm, even for a mild December but bearable. Bit of road noise at times and some noise from downstairs in the evening did seep through. Nothing horrendous though.

The location was perfect as we were visiting family in the area. The Golden Pheasant is set in lovely countryside and is easy to get to. The room was stylish, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good selection for continental and / or cooked. The staff were all very helpful, pleasant and professional. Good car parking with EV charger if you need it. Evening meals were delicious.

Our room looked out over the bin area which could do to be tidied up a bit but beyond that was lovely Cheshire countryside. Not a huge problem.

Without exception, every member of your staff 'went the extra mile' for us. My husband is just learning to walk with two sticks and is very unsteady; because he had to climb stairs to our room a member of staff helped me with our luggage and switched off my husband's sat nav, too which he couldn't manage! I also had help when we were leaving. and when we needed some extra milk for our tea in our room.. Our lunch with friends (the set menu) was very tasty and very good value and we had a great table near the open fireboth for lunch and our breakfast. - Very nice.

Our double bed was not large.

The staff were very efficient and they took great care to make us feel welcome. They were attentive and polite and made us feel very much at home. The evening meal was delicious. The pub/restaurant was very pleasantly decorated and comfortable. The beer garden and play area were great and it was a very pleasant place to sit with a lovely view. The room was well decorated and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet. The breakfast was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the background music it was very relaxing.

We booked the room for 2 nights as we were attending a family wedding down the road. The staff were very friendly. Gave us a quiet room at the back. The room itself was very comfortable, just needs a little tlc. We had breakfast on both mornings which was lovely and a wide variety to choose from. The manager went above and beyond by dropping us off at the venue as we couldn't get a taxi. Would definitely go back and stay again.

Friendly staff greeted us on our arrival on the first day of our two night stay to check us into our rooms. Excellent evening meal & the deep filled steak & ale pie was one of the best we have ever had! Good range of ales & drinks in the pub, with a nice atmosphere too. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order & the chef stayed on after 9am on our second morning to accommodate us for breakfast after we had been to a wedding the day before & we had previously been misinformed about breakfast end time. Bedrooms were comfortable.

Breakfast was originally stated to be from 7am to 9.30am when booking was made earlier in the year, but this had changed to 7.30am to 9am when we stayed. However, as stated before, the chef stayed beyond 9am to cook breakfast for us when we explained about the breakfast time miscommunication. No hand soaps were provided in the bedrooms & the mattress on the bed sloped down on both sides.
