First of all it’s located in such a lovely area. Super close to the airport. We had a flight late afternoon on the day after our stay, and we were able to stay in our room for a late check out free of charge. The property itself was beautiful, lovely individual rooms with stunning yet simple interior. The bed was so so comfy. We didn’t want to leave. The breakfast options were endless and all set out brilliantly. And we were greeted by the cutest and friendliest farm dogs. Would definitely stay here again.

The morning we woke up we could hear staff/cleaners walking about and chatting just out the back of our room as there must be a corridor there, we just got a little nervous they were going to walk in when we were showering or something but they didn’t. Also if you don’t like noise then you won’t like the loud aeroplanes that go over quite often. But we expected it as we chose this location to be close to the airport.

Such a convenient stopover destination for Manchester airport. We booked the family room and found it to be an excellent clean, tastefully decorated, peaceful property. The communication from the host Richard was excellent even though I arrived very late at the property. All instructions were very clear and straight forward. The beds were super comfortable and everything required was provided. The breakfast setup from fantastic and had everything that was needed to enjoy a nice tasty breakfast to start the day. The hot bacon butty waiting in the warming oven was a lovely touch. I will definately consider using this location again when travelling from the airport and would/will highly recommend to all friends. I travel to Knutsford quite regularly for work and like to try new places and The Tens Owen House Farm has been on my list for a while so when I get there I was more than happy with my expectations. I chose a last minute midweek stayover rather than commuting home and dealing with the stress of the M6 and this decision proved to be a winner. The rooms/cabins/chalets as I would describe them were absolutely perfect. The room was so comfortable, warm, had a great hot rain shower, had a real nice theme to it and felt really cosy. I really like the design of the place and how they have kept the traditions of the farming life yet it was modern and quirky. I was a 10 minute drive out of the town into the countryside but could of been anywhere. A great sleep was had as it was very peaceful and come morning I was fully recharged and ready to go again. The host Caroline was really friendly and helpful too and makes a quality bacon bap. Breakfast is limited but that works for me, I am not a full English lover so the 'help yourself' essentials and filter coffee were all good. I will definitely return next time I am working over that way. It is also worth noting that there are 3 decent pubs in close proximity if you want to dine in the evening.

Great and pleasant stay at a convenient commuting distance to Manchester city. Specially strategic to run errands on the Old Trafford area and pretty much perfect if you are arriving/departing from Manchester Airport. Also impressive pictures of airplanes from from the garden. The customer service is outstanding and very proactive to make you feel welcomed! Thanks a lot guys, we loved staying there!

it is just a minor inconvenience the need to plan your sleep around the Manchester Airport quiet hours. In this sense the rooms could do with a bit more of soundproofing. But to whoever is reading this, please rest assured the stay will be enjoyable regardless!!!... it has really comfortable room and beds! you will sleep like a baby!

Unique type of stay (in a good way!). Clean, tidy with a really comfy bed. Quite nice way of providing breakfast. Tastefully presented accommodation.

Nothing really. Would be great to be able to walk safely to one of the nearby pubs (they obs can’t do much about that !) Maybe some instructions about how to use the heater. The airport is close by so that has its positive and negative points.

Accommodation fab - everything has been really well thought out and maintained. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Central location.

Nothing, but I think perhaps a mention should be made of aircraft noise; this shouldn't put people off though because the level and style of accommodation more than outweighs that.

15-20 Minute drive from Manchester Airport and provided us the rest we needed. We had no trouble getting into our room even though we came well after midnight and it was much appreciated that we received very detailed instructions. The location is a farm and it's very peaceful albeit close to the runways. I made a nice video of a plane landing when we were heading for breakfast. We were so tired we didn't notice the airplanes at all. The sound isolation was good in the chicken coops where we spent the night. Richard was very kind to fetch some Veggie packs for our breakfast due to my rather late response to his questions. We had some very tasty apples and loved the cozy breakfast area.

It's close to the runways so if someone is bothered by planes it can be a negative. The breakfast was good, but would have loved some more fresh fruit/veg available. Guess I'm just too used to buffet style offerings in larger hotels.

Really different, a fun room, lovely bathroom, loads of space.

The only thing I didn't like were the breakfast arrangements. It's a bacon sandwich. If you want butter in it, you add it yourself, so it's bacon and bread more accurately. There is a little self service kitchen where you make your own arrangements and this is OK, but a boiled egg or something would have been great. It all felt a bit half hearted on that front.

We stayed before an international flight departing early morning. I think we left for the airport 430am-ish. We were going to miss the allocated breakfast time, which came included in our booking. Our young kids love breakfast when they wake, so the host kindly offered cereal, fruit and yogurt from the communal dining area instead. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish. The grounds were beautifully manicured. Plenty of parking. Friendly. Good aeroplane spotting. Short car drive to character pubs with great food. I thought it was a really nice way to end our trip and some extended family joined us on our last night (they also enjoyed). Thought it was more of an experience than the airport hotels that we could have booked.

We were catching an early morning taxi to an international flight. Our sat nav when we arrived to check in was slightly confused but there was good signage. My apprehension was up as there were possibly 3 entrances which would have possibly confused the taxi in the dark. The taxi dude said it took him a while to figure out but found us & everything was totally fine. Relaxed 15 min drive to airport. When we were moving around in the dark we were triggering all the light sensors outside other rooms - we were trying to be discrete. Our other family friends staying didn't notice but they are heavy sleepers.

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Everything was immaculate, with exceptionally large shower. Being a plane enthusiast, in under a 10min walk across the fields, brought you out at the top of Manchester Airports 2nd runway and access to the many paths around there. Although a full English breakfast is not offered, we thoroughly enjoyed our bacon butty (vegatarian alternative also offered) and for anyone wanting to sort their own breakfast out, you had a large beautifully presented kitchen and facilities to use at your leisure. A real gem of a place, we certainly recommend to anyone wanting to be close to the airport.
