Many marks on bedroom carpet needing spot cleaning or better still a complete clean - dirty.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. It was ideal for us and our little one. The hotel rooms were clean and the location was excellent. It is the ideal location. 10 min walk to London Eye, Sea Life, Dungeons, Shrek. A walking distant from the view of the Parliment. Can easily reach Soho, Covent gardens within 30 mins or so otherwise a cheap ride on Uber is also idea. It definitely was a comfortable and a convinient stay.

Its not that I dislike, but if you are travelling with family and friends, rather than a spouse or partner the bathroom screen/wall that is the partition between the room and shower isn't ideal for some residents even if the privacy glare is put on. It is a personal choice as I like privacy. The refreshments in room was very limited. A zipper bag full of items that some residents wont drink. Maybe a Nespresso Mini machine would be ideal in a 4 star hotel? Definitely the standard of complimentary refereshments could be better.

Location, cleanliness and size of the room were all good, but above all, I found the staff very helpful. I had never put so many demands to staff at any hotel, but these guys met all my requests promptly and with a smile! Examples include: asking for toothpaste (as I had left my own at home), asking for 2 single duvets instead of one double one, asking them to print off my e-ticket to Tower Bridge, etc. They didn’t charge me for doing any of the above!

The hash browns at breakfast buffet were over-cooked. I asked them to pass on my feedback to their chef. The following morning I noticed the hash browns were cooked just right!

Clean, you could walk in any hallways and you could tell they constantly were cleaning. professional and friendly staff. super location for what things I was doing.

I asked for bottles of still water for my room and was told I had to pay for them. I had been in a pub style hotel the previous two days before this stay. and each day a bottle of water was put in my room. and I was paying much less there then at this property. I was just taken back a bit it’s not a deal breaker but I wouldn’t have expected that automatically to be in my room.

Loved the huge breakfast spread. The fancy coffee machine was a huge hit! I had a cappuccino every morning. The front desk and restaurant staff were excellent. The rooms were comfortable. It was nice having a separate toilet room.

The two bartenders were both very grumpy and rude. The bar was dark and windowless. We didn't want to sit back there, so we would get our drinks and sit out in the lovely lobby where all the natural light comes in. They should consider moving the bar out to the front. :)

Hotel is not 5* but offers excellent value for money. Although room was rather simple, it was spacious, bright and ultra clean. Hotel has good location. It offers good starting point to discover London. 5 minutes’ walk to Themes and 10 minutes’ walk to Westminster bridge. Breakfast offers good value for money. Aside to standard offer, we liked typical English breakfast. Our kids are fussy eaters but, in this restaurant, we had no issue. All waiters were very friendly and talkative. Especially Vitomil who gave us several tips for exploring the central London. Since we arrived quite late from the city, we even had a dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was delicious (fish and chips and burgers), portions were even too big and the price comparable to the restaurants in the central London. I really need to expose personnel. We had early check in (cca 10 AM) and it was not a problem. Receptionist was very open and friendly. But the real surprise was at the check-out. We had early check out (at 4 AM) and the hotel surprised us with rich breakfast package (we asked one day prior just for croissants for the kids). It was very nice gesture and we appreciate it during longer wait at the airport.

Nothing to expose

Mainly the location and the overall design and decor. Front desk staff was extremely helpful!

Mostly the toilet separate from the shower/sink without a way to wash/sanitize your hands before touching the door handle. The restaurant was either understaffed (at dinner) or too busy (at breakfast). Also the rooms weren’t the cleanest either and after we spent few days in them certain items we ran out of were not replaced.

Staff were amazing, so so helpful throughout our stay, especially Anna, who arranged early check in and late check out to help us work around our graduation ceremony times, we stayed as a family and the whole stay was amazing, would definitley come back! Location was fantastic, short walking distance to big landmarks and great transport links witb a bust stop opposite the hotel. Breakfast was great, very fresh and good choice. Staff were all lovely 😊

The property was lovely, it’s in a great location, it’s fantastic for kids as there’s a play area right by the bar/restaurant. Rooms were clean and tidy. Dinner was lovely and all the staff were really friendly. The lady on reception when we checked in around 8pm was phenomenal and the gentlemen who served us our dinner was fantastic.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable for the kids meaning long night for us parents. The breakfast in the morning was cold.

Staying at the Novovotel London Waterloo was a lovely experience. We were only there for a night but enjoyed the room and comfort it provided. We had a lovely view too. The location of the hotel was good; underground’s were only a 9-minute walk and we could just walk to the London Eye and Westminster Abbey too.

The bathroom only had a toilet and the sink was next door in the shower room - otherwise it was great!
