I remember visiting when it was his Lordships residence as my mother was receiving her diploma of further education in 1986 direct from from his hands with merit, being able to play in the elevators. I Love the marble architecture and the timeless beauty of the place with specific reference to the paintings on the wall, the facilities are above class and I chose this hotel for its personal room spa bath and its healing properties. The breakfast was excellent with eggs and meats cooked to order, the staff were helpful, polite and efficient. The TV is a satellite receiver and all channels were available and reasonably priced. The room facilities are beautiful, the bed was very comfortable with AC in the room that works very well. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I cannot say I didn't like anything; it was exactly how I remember it, how many hotel rooms, the newly built hotels in London would a person hesitate to have a fine classical Italian red wine in. This place is just perfect to relax and chill in. Just be advised the rooms are not sound proof. The hotel could do with an extended room service. The doors are sometimes locked at night and a smoking area could be provided elsewhere than out the front. There is a 24 hour reception.

-Room was very spacious -Classic style of the hotel -The staff were generally very kind (Special mention night receptionist and front desk staff) -Turkish spa was great (special mention to the masseuse) hot stone treatment was great, le kalon treatment (hammam + Swedish massage) wonderful.

-Hotel needs a quick renovation (keeping the style but changing some carpeting … textiles and so on) for it to keep its initial levels of comfort. -For a 5* finding the room with an empty mini bar was kind of a surprise, the bar closes very early at 22:30 rather than 00:00 or 1:00.

lovely old opulent building. fantastic location. rooms are large and clean. bed is comfortable. Shower is great. it’s a little dated but well worth the money for the retro experience. The writing bureau and telephone next to the toilet in particular made me smile.

The breakfast was poor which was a shame as I liked the place. Pastry’s were not fresh. coffee luke warm, orange juice some processed long life stuff and selection was limited. if it wasn’t for the unsatisfactory breakfast I’d of rated it 9 or 10.

The staff was extremely friendly. Saddened us to leave them. Amazing hospitality and the staff made the stay a beyond exceptional experience.

Alex on the night shift was extremely helpful and accommodating for our last minute needs and awkward payment requests. All the staff we interacted with were unbelievably friendly and helpful. The staff are the face of the hotel, and they were all amazing.

spacious bathroom, room good size for two people bigger than most in london, cozy location, quiet neighborhood and hotel, friendliest staff in london!

my room’s plugs on the front side stopped working twice. air conditioning not that cold, tv didnt work, bed sheets were not changed daily, complimentary water was not provided daily.

everything! it’s only a 3 mins walk to the nearest tube . the staff are super friendly and accommodating. they even helped us store our bags when we went to Paris for 10 days although we checked out of that hotel.

Hammam Spa facilities were great. Would recommend the Golden Delight Retreat. Bed and pillows in room were super comfy. The doorman was very helpful and looked after my car throughout our 2 night stay. Room service was generally good and fast.

Some of the plug sockets in the room didn't work. Couldn't warm the room up higher than 20-21 degrees.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Booking had been moved twice before due to covid and all communication which was helpful and efficient. We were made to feel very welcome. Beds were comfy and room spacious room with sofa area. Overall the hotel had a lovely charm that often lacks in bigger chain hotels. Location is great for visiting attractions and getting in and out to airport
