Loved the antique style decor, everything was clean, the double room was a good size and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. Check in and check out was also very quick and easy and the the staff were all lovely.

The lift was really cool but a little scary with only a 2 person 150kg weight limit and if there was another way to get upstairs it wasn’t clearly directed so made us a little nervous since we would have exceeded it with bags and have to have 2 trips up/down.

I like everything about BW Swiss Cottage. The location is pleasant (a couple of stops from C London, on a quiet road, with plenty of restaurants around), the ambience is quirky and leagues better than a concrete box hotel, staff are unfailingly polite.

Maybe fresh orange juid=ce rather than concentrate for breakfast!

The property is definitely a little old but the cleanliness and comfort compensates! The property was really close to the tube station, local stores, restaurants, and more. We really got the feeling of how residents in London truly live as this hotel is near other residential areas. Staff were incredibly helpful as they always fulfilled our requests. Property didnt have A/C but London is such a chilly city. With the fans that they provided and opening the windows, we were all set. Such a cute little neighborhood and for the price I say it is worth it.

Bathroom is a tad small but doable. No ice machine, microwave, or a little refrigerator. That was pretty inconvenient. The lift is restricted by weight; 150kg is the max. We used it once or twice until we came back from touring and the lift was broken….. we were on the 4th floor so we had to take the stairs. Luckily this happened on our last day.

Location is really good! It's in a pretty nice and quite neighborhood. Yet, a tube station is only 3 min away. Very easy to get to major tourist attractions like buckingham palace, westminster bridge, borough market even without changing line. Overground station to Euston is also within walkable distance. Nearby also are a tesco and some fast food restaurants which can come in really convenient. My room is spacious (I got an upgrade), free tea bags and instant coffee, and the staff is nice and helpful.

The building is a bit old, and so is the room. Part of the ceiling is a bit worn and peeled off, also some stains on the wall paper. But to be honest no big deal to me, and I think the size of my room sort of compensates for that. A bigger problem coming with the age is probably the sound isolation. I don't hear my neighbor that much when they're in their room but when they open the door and walk in the hallway... oh no. very bad if you want to sleep in.

Fantastic location. Nice hotel that made you feel at home. Good family room although the double bed was a bit small

Squeaky floorboards gave a lot of noise when people in the room above us were walking around

The staff were friendly. The hotel was clean. Spacious room, plenty of space for 2 suitcases. Complementary tea/coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out. Quiet location. Would definitely stay here again.

You had to pay £1:95 for a bottle of water, should be complimentary. There was no shower gel as the hotel was waiting on a delivery but a small bar of soap was provided. Shower curtain over the bath in the bathroom, I personally prefer a shower door. Large comfy bed but the pillows were very uncomfortable. I was staying with friends, we all ordered the cooked breakfast at the same time. 2 cooked breakfast arrived quite quickly but then had to wait a good 10 minutes for the other 2 to arrive. The lovely lady in the breakfast room was very apologetic.

Staff are friendly and approachable hotel is clean which is no easy task considering the age of the building well done

staff were wonderful! cleaning crew did a good job each day and we're very nice breakfast was basic but good location allowed easy access to underground and many shops and places to eat. pretty quiet

room 410 was nice but not built for people over 5'11" or so! paid extra for the bigger room but they should advertise that the room is in the eaves and that there are low ceilings in the bathroom. Not unusual in older girls, but floors are very creaky (which didn't bother us but we worried about the people downstairs). very small lift would fit three small adults at most. We used the stairs anyway but needed several trips to move heavy luggage up to the third floor. No lift to fourth floor if that is important. Please let staff know if you have disabilities. when you book.

The hotel is situated in a relatively quiet area in the outskirts of London with great access to the Underground. It's a pleasant walk to Primrose Hill for a fantastic view of the city. The area around the hotel has shops, groceries, coffee shops, a great pub, and restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms included toiletries and a hair dryer and plush towels. The breakfast included a nice selection of cold buffet and/or cooked English breakfast. The hotel is comprised of several houses which have been opened up to be one building, the corridors are narrow and a bit windy at times, which added to the charm. There is a small elevator. The living room has lots of seating and includes both a piano and a small bar. It's a cozy place for a nightcap at the end of the day.

The hotel, while quite clean, does show some wear.

Loved everything! The vintage feel of the hotel, the friendly staff, the big rooms (we had 2) and all the facilities in the rooms. Loved the vintage and spacious furniture too, so many drawers and hangers to store stuff. Breakfast was a typical English breakfast and the staff were really helpful. The rooms we stayed in were impeccably clean and room service was well done. The area was super calm and close to a theatre and a quiet marketplace with vendors selling exotic and local delicacies. It is just by the Swiss Cottage underground station that makes it easy to get everywhere. Would definitely come back here.

Not a big deal but would have been great to have a small fridge in the room. Still, we did not miss it.
