The hotel was fine! Perfect for solo travellers who are most of the day out. I knew what I had paid for, and I didn't have any surprise. The room is small - just as the description says! I was more worried about the noise, as I had read some negative comments about it - fortunately, I had a really good experience. I had requested as a preference not to have a room facing the main street, and they replied they were going to do their best, but they could not guarantee it. The room I got was in fact not facing the main street, and I didn't hear any single noise from other guests or from the streets any of the nights. The location is excellent. The breakfast is just fine. The girls at the reception (Orla and the one in the morning shift - I do not know her name) were sooo kind.

There are no lifts, just stairs - again, I knew about it from other reviews, so no surprise. The day I arrived there were constructors working in the hotel and I was redirected to my room using other corridors, having to go up and down the stairs again. The following day I did the same and one of the workers didn't like it as I should have used the regular stairs... how could I know? Nobody told me. Anyway, we both apologized and that was it :)

Location, location, location! We were only in London for two nights so wanted to cram as much sightseeing in as possible. The location of Bloomsbury Palace made this more than achievable. After reading the reviews to say we were anxious about our stay would be accurate. However, we were presently surprised. The facilities are basic but we found everything to be satisfactory for our stay. The staff were friendly & approachable. The breakfast was good, with the option of hot or cold breakfast & a variety of drinks. Yes the coffee is instant but if its not to your taste there are so many coffee shops locally. We would definitely stay again if I was visiting the city.

We stayed in G1 with a view onto the smoking area at the back of the property. It looked like someone had dumped a load of building materials. This could do with cleaning up.

Good location between Soho and St Pancras / King's Cross stations. Quiet street. Comfy bed, but just for my height, tall people beware. Small, but very modern and clean bathroom. Breakfast included in the room price, although I would have managed without, but it was still nice to eat and the selection was quite big. Stored my backpack in the reception for the whole day, it was a nice gesture from the hotel.

Breakfast room was very small for all the guests that came to eat at the same time. Kitchen staff was very fast, but exhausted. That was warned in other comments, so it was expected.

Reception were great. Room was good. Bed was comfy, cleaned well. Selection of breakfast options was great. Great shower.

Room 302 toilet lid doesn't shut slowly and is super heavy so makes load bang, supposed to be slow release so broken. Mushrooms were under cooked, and tomatoes raw for a cooked breakfast, only other thing if I was being picky, no porridge. Design of tap in sink gets in the way for shaving and brushing teeth.

I surely recommend Bloomsbury Palace Hotel. It is a vintage, three-story house with no lifts (elevator), narrow stairs, and small bedrooms, which has been turned into a comfortable accommodation. We stayed there for seven nights, my wife and I. We went on a trip to London to walk the city and visit the Museums. Indeed, the Bloomsbury Hotel is very close to the British Museum. In the surroundings, there are some universities, a handful of beautiful parks, cafés, restaurants, bookstores, and pubs—of course. It is also located near Goodge Street Station, Russell Station, and Euston Station, an important hub for trains, buses, and the subway. Considering we spent the day in the city and usually only returned at night, the Hotel proved quite convenient—a pleasant and attractive location at a pretty reasonable price. As a final and thankful note, the person at the reception desk was always kind and helpful.

MAin reason for visit was a gig at Ronnie Scotts. Location of hotel was excellent . Gower road was reasonably quiet for central London. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good , a large choice of fruits, cereals, yogurts, croissants, toast etc. no cooked breakfast. Room was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, clean en-suite, TV (did'nt use) and Wi Fi. The only negative was that the hotel could do with some maintenance. I noticed some very rotten wood in the window frames and the window blind fell off when trying to open it.

Great location in London to access main attractions and have the space away to chill. Beautiful area of London with great pubs and restaurants too Breakfast option was simple and easy with a basic but good choice of foods. Staff were friendly and polite. Beautiful building, the history of it would be good to know along with a photograph area where you can take a photo in the lobby would be good.

No hand soap or plug in the bathroom. Would be great if breakfast was in till 10:30, giving room for all to sit and eat

Over all this was an excellent hotel. The room was clean, staff were friendly and the hotel was situated in a central location within walking distance of Oxford street.

The breakfast was a little simple. It wasn’t bad, there just wasn’t too much to it. The times were also very early as you had to done by 09:30. Not great for people who like to sleep in. Could extend it to at least 10:30 which is far more common for hotel breakfasts.

If your not worried about having a big flashy hotel as your just staying to sleep this place is perfect the breakfast was good some good dairy free options too in terms of milk! Staff are super friendly and even provided a fan because of the heatwave which came in handy.

The dairy options only went as far as the milk would of been nice to have a dairy free option for the butter but not a big issue and it was alot of money for one night but at the same time it is London so kind of have to expect it
