Bower House Room #3 is a spacious, sunny, nicely decorated room with a desk, closet, two chairs, a comfortable queen bed, a nice view of the peaceful, attractive street, and a very small en-suite shower and toilet. The room is private with access up just one flight of stairs. One morning we had the continental breakfast at the Georgian House Hotel around the corner where the check-in staff are located—plenty of selections including fruit, yoghurt, breads, sweet rolls, waffles, cheese, ham, and hard boiled eggs. The Bower House location is convenient to all public transportation, pubs, a laundromat, and plenty of food choices. The staff around the corner were extremely helpful, storing our bags both on the day of arrival and departure, and transported our suitcases to our room both ways.
It would have been nice to have another table in the room.

The Bower House (basement level, apt 9) was a cute little room with just enough space for two people. The room was very well taken care of and very clean. The location was perfect; we were within walking distance to everything (train station, bus station, sightseeing). The bathroom/shower was a little tight, but big enough for me (5’8 / 220) and had great hot water pressure. Definitely a place to consider for a few nights stay.
The TV only had static and we were unable to watch any of the channels. This is why I gave the property/room a 9 out of 10. It didn’t really bother us because we where gone most of the time and really only showered and slept in the room, but there was absolutely no reception on any channels.

The room was small but had everything I needed, including ironing elements, coffee/tea making supplies, a hair dryer, and a fan (which was provided immediately upon request). The two reception guys I met at check-in and check-out were very kind. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and both the room and the bathroom were clean smd in perfect working order. The towels were really fine, too. For those who need good internet to work, the wi-fi at Bower House works perfectly even with Meet. It wasn't easy to find a place with good wifi and a private bathroom in a good location at a price that suited my budget for a last-minute trip in high season.
I had understood it worked as a hotel, with round the clock reception. It didn't. The key had to be picked up from a nearby hotel from 7 a.m. to 10 p m. It wasn't a problem but, as I was traveling solo, I wanted a 24-hour front desk. Maybe I didn't read it in the description. Also, the room isn't remade unless requested. I realized that when I returned. Again, it's not a problem, but it would've been nice to be told when I checked in. Mind you, neither of these would keep me from staying at Bower House again.I just consider these could be more clearly stated.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Victoria Station, so very good for a transport connections, and thus a popular location for small hotels, among which the Bower House (which is really an annex of the Georgian House house in the next street) is a recommendable example. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful when I checked in.
I was sorry not to find an easy chair in the room (I like to sit and read a lot), but that was my fault for not taking note of the distinctions between the various grades of room at the time I made my booking. Likewise, the hotel has no elevator and no air-conditioning — but at this price bracket in Central London one cannot reasonably expect either.

Great service at the reception of couple houses down the street, the room has all the required amenities and is perfectly located for quick connections in and out of the city. Perfect for a quiet night when travelling for work. It has a good desk which was also convenient to study at night(I was in town to sit an exam). Good bed, good night of sleep and easy check in and check out.
It was a little cold in the room (understandable since it is an old Victorian house) but there is a small electric heater provided that does the trick.

Staying at Bower House was a good experience. The location is great, as it is a quick 5-7 minute walk from the Victoria (Coach/Rail/Underground) transportation hub that will get you to almost anywhere in (and out) of London Central. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable. While they didn't have AC, which is something they let us know about beforehand, they very kindly provided us with several fans. We lucked out and the evening we stayed was warm but cooler than the preceding few days. The staff were great, very responsive with our inquiries and requests before our arrival, and very helpful during our stay.

There are so many mixed reviews that I didn't know what to expect. But I made the reservation because it was in a quiet neighborhood, it was close to public transport, and the price was right. It seems as though people's experience are based on the room they get, and we had a GREAT room. So clean. Tastefully decorated. Easy to check in and out. Spacious by London room standards. Yes, the bathroom is small and the stairs are narrow, but that's to be expected in old buildings; we didn't have a problem with this. Yes, the check-in "counter" is in another building, but it's closeby; and they send you repeated correspondence to let you know this in advance so you know what you're getting into.

We were checked in to the Sister hotel "The Georgian House" on arrival so our review is for the Georgian House, Really nice / friendly reception team , beautiful old building decorated to a very high standard, our room (number 26) was small but beautiful with a lovely view across the roof tops to Battersea. lovely quiet leafy area very close to Victoria stations. Nice sized bathroom. Room was spotless and well equipped , high quality tea / coffee / biscuits and bathroom shampoo / conditioner / etc. We loved this hotel
Room was on top floor with no elevator so a lot of stairs, room was also a little small, other than that this hotel was really nice and highly recommended

For the price, I was expecting much less and I was very pleasantly surprised! The room was cosy but it was very clean and nicely decorated. The layout of the room was very efficient and it was so interesting that the bathroom was built into a wardrobe! The bed was very comfy and the fan really helped me in dealing with the London heat
Not very much! My only suggestion for improvement is perhaps a better fan. Mine rattled very loudly unless I propped it up

Good location near Victoria and Pimlico stations and also near Buckingham Palace etc. Our two rooms were larger than expected (one in particular) and in very good condition overall. The carafe of water provided was very welcome. The staff I met on arrival and also the ones I bumped into when entering and leaving the building were all friendly and polite.
The pillows in the smaller room were a bit hard and flat, but I understand this is just my personal preference and I still slept well. Could have been more generous with the tea and milk, but I’m sure more would have been provided if I had asked or if we were staying for longer.
