Staff were very friendly from start to finish and recognised us each time we went in and out of the hotel. Beds were comfortable and clean, beds made, and bins emptied when we went out. 24 hour access to front desk so can come and go as you please. Good transport links and shops nearby. Safe and fairly quiet location. Very basic bare minimum facilities but it's all you need for the price you pay considering the location youre getting! Somewhere to get your head down at the end of the night watching TV with a clean bathroom to scrub up in! Not sure why they got so many negative reviews.

Floors are creaky throughout and doors are very heavy so can hear whenever someone is coming or going. Knob missing for the radiator in the room so no way to adjust it yourself, could get uncomfortably hot at times.

The price is very reasonable for new year eve in london The location is perfect to the station and to the shops Despite the room is super tight , private bathroom with hot water is available As well i would like to thank the receptionist guy who was in the hotel in the night of new year he helped me a lot and without his help my whole trip will not be happy thank you god bless u my brother

We had to stay extra 2 nights due to unexpected circumstances (fire at Luton Airport) and the hotel administrator without any hesitation agreed to prolong our booking for extra 2 nights for the same price we paid while booking months in advance. That was a very pronounced act of kindness by hotel administration. We will always be ever so grateful.

we couldn’t sit in reception even though there was 4 comfortable chairs as they had tapes all around them , we would have liked to sit on comfortable chairs when we as in hotel . you couldn’t open curtains as there was no blinds or nets to protect so it was really dark in out room. we would have liked it if we could have opened our curtains in day .

The positive of staying here was the price. £49 on a Saturday night in August for a single room in a very good location in London is very good indeed. The room was clean, there was a TV although I didn't turn it on. It did the job for me for the one night I was there. Check in was super easy and quick. I was offered the option of cash or card. You give your key in at reception and pick up when you return back when you go out as reception is 24 hours. There were a few sockets and there is a clothes rail with hangers.

The shower didn't produce hot water. It was ok for me but would be a problem in colder conditions. The shower room is a bit cramped so larger people would struggle to fit in it I'd imagine. No air con so i would imagine the room would get very hot in hot summer days

Location close to Edware Road underground is perfect for a night stay over in London to see a concert or show. Staff friendly and at desk 24 hours so felt secure. Bedding was clean. The single room, although tiny, had its own toilet and shower abd therefore much better than a dorm stay for me.

No soap or shower gel, walls in the room were rather grubby but bathroom, sheets and towels were clean.

Almost all of the reviews I read were horrible but having stayed there personally, I can debunk many of the reviews. For example the water was easily turned to hot. And it didn’t go cold once even after two people had showered in my room. So many reviewers said only cold water.

Despite the wrong rates, the accomodation was all good. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. You can see that the furniture is old, but if you would like a cheap accommodation in a good location, this hotel is perfect. The staff was also nice.

The card reader didn't not work, well had to pay with cash but the receptionist showed us where to find ATM machine right away.

This is a very friendly, very clean and in walking distance to Hyde Park and Marble Arch tube station. Stayed 3 nights here, the rooms are serviced every day by the friendly cleaning team. The desk staff were also were friendly, especially @Bez!
