The staff were very friendly and with a 24-hour bar with evening entertainment below was helpful for soft drinks if the local shop was shut. The bar and the building look amazing and to stay lets you think about the history within the venue.

The mattresses were very thin and with 3-bed bunks, the space to sit on the bunk is limited. Also the key card needed reactivited every time I left the hostel which wasn't the best, Be aware if you do not book direct, you need to check out by 10am where as if you book directly you get an extra 2 hours and check out at 12 noon. There is also a price match advertised on the website direct. Be careful if you have large luggage as there may be a large number of steep stairs and small corridors to move through to get to rooms.

Property is accessible to city centre just one bus ride. NOTE: expect london bus to always dysfunctional but theres alternative route you can take to not waste your time.

Breakfast - serving on lunch Only coffee available according to staff and if your health side and happen to see they change all linen youll be checking the status of your pillow as i think it needs some wash and maybe change its really disgusting to be honest its not about value for what you pay but giving health safety check for people might get allergic reaction. Cleanliness i think you cant blame them alot of customer are disrespectfully disgusting and noisy even at night - eary morning talking on their phones well its a hostel but have some manners and be respectful to others.

- Everyone who works here were very helpful and friendly, everytime i needed something i got the help i needed especially from a girl who wears glasses, she was super nice and helpful. - Rooms were quiet at night, sometimes u would hear people go up and down the stairs but mostly it was very quiet at night. - Food and drinks were cheap - Nice vibe at night with the sport matches downstairs in the pub - Very good location due to many shops being near and many bus stops as well Overall a great hostel to meet people and have a nice short stay.

- The bathrooms were very dirty at night because they were only cleaned once a day. - Only two bathrooms available on the same floor due to them renovating the big bathroom stalls. - The toilet is beside the shower without any barrier in between so it's very dirty.

All good as hostel.

The showers have push button for the water to come off. Isn't that a good idea but it's very uncomfortable to push the button every 7-10 secconds or keeping one hand all the time on there, witch makes the water to be sometimes too cold and sometimes too hot. At least make it work for 2-3 minutes right? They have 7 days policy... So if you want to stay more than 7 days probably will not be possible.

I have been in this hostel for almost 2 weeks and I have met too many people with different nationalities what is really interesting. The room was good you have enough space to keep your belongings and if you have something of high value or passport you have a locker to keep it but of course you have to buy your own padlock. Everyday the lady cleaner came to clean the rooms and always is taking out rubbish of food when supposedly is not allowed food haha is funny. They should put a kitchen or something because nobody wants to spend money in fast food. Is not perfect but they try their best. Im really happy to be in this hostel.

After 2 weeks sharing room with different people is the first time I have a problem with someone. A guy is sleeping down me is snoring kicking my bed farting dropping his arms on the floor making noise. I can't sleep because of him, other than that his personality is quite rude. I understand maybe that guy has problem to sleep but is excessive the way he kick my bed.

The staff were incredibly accommodating! When I arrived, there had been a technical issue with my booking and it had been removed, however the two people on the desk helped to ensure they found me a bed to stay in. The rooms were clean, spacious and had a security locker (if you provided your own lock) and bedside charging port. The bar downstairs was nice and a great place to watch sport. It was very easy to find and walkable from Clapham Junction station. For London, I felt it was good value for money.

The bathrooms were great, although at 9am there was a bit of a queue for the showers as everyone was trying to use them at the same time before checkout. Next time, I'd set my alarm 15 minutes earlier to beat the rush!

The fact that I could check in quite late (21:45) after my flight was delayed... The proximity of the Pub to Clapham Junction Station. The chance to get something to eat from the kitchen at 10pm

Everything was as I expected, but note to self "next time maybe request a lower bunk" (as I was on the very top) - but luckily I am an agile, adventurous 'older person' 🤭

I was worried arriving at nearly 3 am that I would not be allowed to check-in. The reviews said that reception was open 24 hrs but I was sceptical. But sure enough the gentleman who checked me was cheery and reception was very much open.

There are WAY too few bathrooms here. There are even long queues for that daily. The windows do not open fully and that just seems like a fire hazard and it just seems wrong. I would definitely change that.

For me, proximity to major landmarks was convenient. I felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood and got the perfect blend of what it might be like to be a local and a tourist during my stay. Beds are confortable, staff is friendly and allowed me to use their charger after mime broke. The downstairs pub is a real treat and creates a unique but welcome environment!
