This hotel was lovely and in a great location. The staff were all very nice an accomadating both at reception and the bar. The price we paid for a 4 night stay was very low, only €615 Read alot of reviews that would advise against staying in this hotel but delighted we booked because it had everything we needed for a short break to visit london 😁 I am not a fussy person - once it's clean and has a good shower and comfy beds sure what more do you want!

No aircon but has a fan in cupboard, weather was very warm so would have been nice to turn aircon on cold but would not stop me from returning.

Great location, close to Paddington Station

Small - lift ,corridors which once you reached your floor still had to walk up stairs around a couple of corridors through doors with suitcases and small shower Uncomfortable beds and pillows, which could do with being replaced. Only got one pillow each and when asked for more it seemed to be a hassle. No aircon in rooms , only given little table fans . No small fridge in room , would of been good to store cold drinks as was hot . Arrived early had to pay to store bags until room ready . Also when leaving had to pay if wanting to store until leaving for airport. Wouldn’t except cash for anything just accepted card .

The location was perfect! 4 min from Paddington station and from it we could travel anywhere including direct line to the Airport. if you travel most of the day to than the location and access is a must. also when returning it's nice not to have a long walk back to the hotel. around the hotel there are many restaurants and also grocery stores with fair prices. consider the MEAL DEAL mostly at 5 pounds that includes variety of sandwiches + snack (also fresh cut fruits) + any drink of your choice. The staff was very kind and helpful. also offered free sim card and baggage storage at very low fee for all day. we had to change room (our need) and they changed to a better room without charging extra - thank you so much! the bed was good, clean sheets and towels every day.

some floors have steps even with elevator. walls little thin.

The staff were all very helpful and polite. It was spotleesly clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of Paddington Station and Hyde Park. The bar was still open when we returned from a concert in Hyde Park.

My single room was very small and I had to move the bedside cupboard to the foot of the bed as it was blocking the route to the bathroom and the door. The wardrobe was positioned across part of the window. The tea making facilities were partially under the desk when the shelf was extended and all electrical plugs couldn't be accessed behind the desk unit.

The location was perfect for Paddington station and Hyde Park. The staff were fantastic and couldnt have been more friendly and accomodating. Clean and convenient, reasonable for price.

Although the room was small it suited just fine for a long weekend with a friend. The weather was very warm and their was no air con only a very small desk fan. A better fan or freestanding one would be great. Some towel hooks in the bathroom would be handy, no big issue at all just a suggestion. The window was very difficult to open and close but we got the knack for it after being shown.

I liked everything. Every year at Christmas and New Year I stay in a hotel in London for work and every year, it’s in a different part of London. Because of variable standards, for the last six years I’ve opted for hotels belonging to one of the largest national chains, as that way I have the reassurance of knowing in advance exactly what to expect. Last Christmas though, rising prices at the chains made me decide to try something different and I’m very pleased that I did. My room was in every respect as good as the ones I’ve had in earlier years and so was the breakfast. Particular praise goes to the staff. The staff I had contact with were in the restaurant at breakfast time, behind the bar on two evenings and at reception. All of them struck what in my personal view is the right balance between professionalism and a friendliness, with the result that I felt entirely at ease. Also, when to my embarrassment I was careless and woke up one morning only to find that the walking stick I rely on because I have arthritis wasn’t in my room, the reception and housekeeping staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and the stick was found and returned to me. My work next Christmas may not be in the same location, but if it is I would book again like a shot.

As I’ve said, I liked everything.

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were very understanding and helped me when I accidentally saturated all my towels in the bathroom and then when I accidentally spilt an entire cup of tea on my bed just before I was supposed to be getting into bed! It had been a very long 36 hours of travel - I am not usually accident prone! The window could actually open and I could experience some of the passing London life. It was so close to Paddington Station for my onward train travel. I would definitely stay there again for a single night for onward travel.

I had to move the desk out from the wall to plug in my phone and computer chargers. Not a deal breaker but a bit awkward. The shower head shot up as I turned it on and completely saturated my towels that I had placed on the end of the bath. I had to laugh and the staff were so helpful and understanding.

The location is great, we visit kensington museums often, and you can get there by short walk, no need to use public transport! Also if you need to get somewhere by TfL, there's lots of underground lines to use. The room was clean, housekeeping staff really lovely. The shower was a little riddle at first, but we figured it out :D Also appreciated the 11am check-out.

Our room (n°210) had quite a bit of space between the floor and doors, so lots of sound coming from the hall. We stuffed a towel there in the end. Also alarm went off twice, but I guess that's probably because of some dumba** smoking in their room.

The hotel is located in an excellent area with tube, trains and buses practically at the door step. Staff were attentive and friendly which is definitely a plus in such a busy hotel! Breakfast is continental with a good choice of meats, cheeses and pastries. We had a ground floor triple room which was light and airy, very clean with proper heating and a good water pressure. Please bear in mind that if all of your party members are travelling with big hold luggage you might find the room on a smaller side but if travelling light there are no problems. Although on the ground floor facing the boulevard I found the room to be quiet at night and had no problems having my rest when wanting to do so. All in all we had an excellent Easter stay and we shall return!

The hotel is little bit old, but very old fashioned and traditional English style, which I like a lot. It is a great value for money, the neighborhood is very quiet, and still very clean. Has a lot of small shops and restaurants by 5 min walking. The Paddington tube station is in 5 min walking distance, you can go anywhere you want with a tube. Breakfast is just fine, nice food. The rooms are little bit small, but since you use the room in London jut for sleep and shower, it is still very much OK. A good value for money.
