I've used this hotel a few times now and think that it's a superb, very low cost option for a solo traveller, or maybe a couple on a short stay. This time, my room was just £54 per night. No one can complain about that. You might want a bigger room, better facilities etc. but you'd have to pay much more for it. Great location, just a few minutes walk from Paddington tube or Network Rail. Several good restaurants and pubs and shops nearby. I'll definitely stay here again. I've stayed in hotels that were only marginally better but were more than twice the cost.

* Location location location! * Quiet at night * Spotlessly clean * Lift available * Free fast wifi * Plenty of tea and coffee * Proper towels, not the usual tiny hotel ones * No air con, but the window actually opened all the way, and they provided a fan

* No reading light in my room, only lightswitch was by the door * Teeny tiny bathroom, I had to sit on the toilet sideways because there was nowhere for my knees! * A few maintenance issues in my room - a plug socket had been broken in half, and several bathroom floor tiles were broken and moved when you stepped on them

This room was very spacious and the double bed was comfortable as always. Great location: I enjoyed looking at Hyde Park which is only round the corner. Lancaster Gate tube station is very close so this is very convenient. The room is very clean and enough facilities to relax.

I had to wait a a bit to check-in as nobody was present at reception at first.. A really small point but I needed to add something in this box as had a very positive experience. I had all the facilities I needed so there is no need to comment further upon this.

Excellent reception sevice. Booking-in seamless, queries answered very politely and minor problem with access to a plug resolved by the Duty Manager taking the time to come to my room. Cleaners also very friendy and politie next morning. From a 'user experience' perspective- excellent in terms of quality of service.

Two single beds in a room clearly designed for a single bed room is not ideal - impossible to turn around in the space between them and access to plug required the kettle proved to be placed on the floor. TV remote might have helped - but I suspect some other guessed had more than likely decided to 'borrow it' - so given VERY reasonable budget price - all those minor frustrations were entirely understanable and of no consequence; hence 9 overall.

Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Heads up the photos of the rooms look nothing like what you get lol but for the price you pay its a comfy room small but when all you need is a bed and a private bathroom it's wel worth it.

The room itself could have used some work dents in walls and a few stains on the walls too but and I couldn't figure out the shower temp so either boiling or freezing which was fun.

Good location, very close to paddington station as well as it is located very close to Kensington gardens park.

The room was provided on -1 floor which means no access to window. It was a window in the room however it was blocked and taped since some facilities were located just near the window outside. Previously have already stayed in Park Avenue hotel at Baker Street and it was provided a kettle & fridge in the room but this time there were neither kettle nor fridge, they provided cup and tea/coffee though. Also, for travelers who will stay in room 1003, there is a minor gap between room’s and corridor floor, due to carpet pattern it is hidden and cannot be visible easily, so due to this gap I stepped on the wrong side of my feet and fell down. My foot wasn’t injured but still hurts. Pls see photo below.

The location was what I needed, close to Hyde Park 🏞️ and walking distance to Public Transport, Paddington 🚉 and Lancaster Gate 🚇 on the Central Line. Friendly staff.

The room was petite, warm and okay for my needs, enough sockets and Wi-Fi. I liked the view of the nearby Mews and Church. The Bathroom sink partly covered the 🚽.

LI liked that the place is neat and tidy. The location is 5 min away from the nearest underground. If you want to turn on the heat in the room you can do it from the radiator itself. Staff was friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast in the morning, but it's not included in the room price. I loved the breakfast. There is a variety of food on the menu. About 5 types of cereals, different juice drinks( apple, pineapple, orange etc.) All sorts of hot drinks you like or just hot water for your medications. Toasts, jam, butter, warm croissants and also you can have a full English breakfast.

No kettle in my room. I had to go downstairs all the time to get my hot water for a prescription from my gp.

Great inexpensive Hotel. Much better than I was expecting for this price. Great location, a short walk from Paddington main station and underground. I'd definitely stay again if I wanted a lower cost room to use as a base.

Everything was above my expectations for this price range and all the staff were very pleasant indeed but oh the pillows!!!! The pillows in my room were very much on the lumpy uncomfortable side but you can't exactly expect goose down at this price !

Super well maintained. All facilities seemed new, especially regarding the bathroom. Quiet too. Very cheap . You even get a hot drink station . A new favourite for me, Definitely the best in the area ( of the 7 or so places I stayed at this year )

Portable heater was missing from my room but took 1 minute to replace by reception ( dialling zero didn't function but the landline was answered within 1 ring in the night , so no problem )
