this property was PERFECT for two people. the location was amazing. 10 minute walk to the tube, and quite an easy walk. we did this walk multiple times a day and it was fine. the room itself was clean, had an air conditioner, comfortable, had a tv, and came with most toiletries. the check in process was so easy, our room was even ready early. using the code to get in and out was great, we never had to worry about a key. I would definitely stay at another Sonder. amazing value for the price.

there was a “fridge” but it was warm inside. shower water was mostly warm / cool.

loved the adjustable shower with great pressure and hot/cold, don’t find that in many places. the aircon worked fantastic, it was clean, stylish and I felt very secure. great location a bit of a walk or bus ride down to the main town but a good distance away to have some down time. staff were very helpful and friendly, allowing me to store my excessive luggage and made me feel very welcome.

most things were fantastic, only slight issue I had was the fridge wasn’t very cold, which I did not realise and there is some mild growth because I had some food in there. I did not request this to be looked at which was my own decision and I’m sure staff would’ve helped I just didn’t need the fridge and wasn’t too disrupted by it! also the mattress was slightly uneven probably due to lots of solo travellers but did tip towards the floor so might need a flip around.

Common areas very clean and modern. My room (410) in the annexe was on the 2nd floor (3rd floor for you Americans) and was at the back, so incredibly quiet. No lift so you carry your cases, I didn't mind that but others might. Room wasn't huge but had all I needed. Really loved my stay. It was about 27 degrees C when I arrived so the air-conditioning was a blessing (and it was already on so I had a lovely cool room to walk into). Definitely would stay again, highly recommend Bread By Bike I had breakfast there every day, and also The Lion and Unicorn pub for a drink or evening meal. Preferred to use Kentish Town tube station as the walk is about the same distance as to Camden Road but much quieter through residential streets. Do check out Sonder's way of doing things though - you pay for a room cleaning if you want one etc (I didn't bother) it's their way of keeping prices down. Worked for me but might not for you.

Nothing really

I've stayed here before. I had an even bigger room this time and was very happy with it. There was no noise from other rooms and the process was very smooth. Very happy overall.

The following are both MINOR points. As stated above I was happy with the stay. i. There was no cold water available from the taps. On 'hot' the water was hot, and on 'cold' the water was very warm even after running for a while. Given the sweltering heat outside I assume then the cold water comes from a rooftop storage tank. Not very pleasant to not be able to get cold water in the summer! ii. I found the pillows much too soft. I was given four pillows so Sonder should consider giving guests a variety of pillows - some soft and some firm. Overall however very happy with the stay once again

I have chosen Sonder Camden as my husband and I usedto live just around the corner years ago. The room (102) is really nicely sized considering that this is London. I would like to point out that everything was perfectly clean and I like the rather hard mattes and huge pillows; we slept very well. Please know that the bathroom is tiny and I can't imagine how to use the toilet if you are a bit heavier or not really mobile; for us it was fine. Nice thick towels and quality toiletries and a very good hair dryer. The staff is friendly and attentative - I can recommend!

Clean and comfortable

In general, it was a good place for staying in London- clean and new also staff was friendly with a nice sitting lobby area. Shower was great. Tube stations are a bit walk, but very close to bus stops take you to central London.

The room I got was extremely small. Even traveling alone the room size was just barely ok. They don’t do room service while staying which I think it’s acceptable for short stay but I stayed for 6 nights I think they should at least offer me one room service. And there is no microwave on-site which is a bit inconvenient.

The room was a very comfortable size. It is very modern and clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. They offer a lot of free amenities such as a kettle and chill box in the room, complimentary tea, coffee and milk, free towels and even the facility to communicate with the staff via an application for convenience and comfort. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! All in all a very memorable stay, 100% would recommend.

The closest underground station is Kentish Town and it takes around 10 minutes on foot to get there. Albeit difficult when carrying luggages, it is quite a pleasant walk and the street is safe and quiet.

We loved our stay! Everything was clean, comfortable bed! All amenities there including adapter for European plug. The staff was very friendly, it was very easy to find and accessable by public transport. We loved that there was special luggage storage available to leave the luggage before check in/after check out! The only thing we would love to have is another chair in the room as there was only one. And a bit bigger shower. Would definitely recommend and come back again!
