Very nice room, maid service very good, a very pleasant hotel, All the staff were very friendly, The location is perfect for Deansgate,This was our 3rd stay but will definitely come back again, We must mention Dennis on breakfast duties he is an absolute gentleman, Always so polite and attentive,

We think you changed the chef at breakfast as we had a few issues eg eggs Benedict not soft, one day porridge was cold, Bacon in turine ok but from the chef it was hard and tasteless, Waited 20 mins one day for breakfast so I told the manager who apologised and sorted it for me, overall 5 out of 10 but we will still come back again.

Beautiful & clean

My only issue was. You pay for your room which are already expensive At check in they take £50 deposit And then hope you eat or drink some of the really overpriced snacks in the room Now if you have paid £300 + for a room wouldn’t it be nice to have a free drink in the room ? So basically you pay for your room and 9 times out of 10 you will lose the £50 deposit. Which in my eyes is another cheap way of getting money out of you Just little things like that what stop it from being a totally good experience. And make it a ok experience. And a £5 delivery charge for room service ?? Really You want to be the best hotel Stop making your guest feel like everything is an additional cost.

Great location for centre of Manchester.

Kids hanging around by the canal. Not causing trouble but antisocial due to the level of noise they were making. Shouting, playing music, swearing. When outside on the terrace overlooking the canal this was irritating. Not the hotels fault but did effect the time spent on the terrace. Also a little put out that I had to go and ask for a menu and service from the bar staff. We were the only people in the bar at that time, so no excuse. You pay a lot of money to stop here so expected better service.

This hotel was amazing from the first day we arrived very friendly staff very clean and tidy definitely one to book. lovely outdoor area aswel. I will definitely be coming back here again. Location was perfect as only 5-10 minute away from the city centre I.e primark, arndale. And only 15 minutes from night life such as canal Street.

The only thing that put me off slightly was the extra £50 deposit that they take that isn't stated at all when booking so when we arrived we had to pay our booking.com price plus £50. You get the £50 refunded I'd nothing taken from the mini bar but it takes 3-5 days. I feel this should have been noted or communicated after we booked.

The hotel was lovely. Very clean and the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We were upgraded and our room was lovely, overlooking the canal, large, great bathroom with separate bath and shower and great dressing area. Lots of nice little touches that made it worth the price. Breakfast was also fantastic.

Although we got our room upgraded, there was an inter-connecting door linking our room with the adjacent one. We were next door to the presidential suite and were woken up at 4am with the occupants of the suite having a party. There were lots of people and the piano was being played! Having the inter-connecting door meant it sounded like we were in the suite with them and so we got no sleep until 6.30-7am when the party finished. It was really disappointing considering how much we loved everything else about the hotel and the fact that I had booked the stay as a gift for my husbands birthday.

Reception staff very Good and competent. Quite a Grabd feel to the Hotel

Why do hotels always assume that Guests will work out how everything operates? TV didn';t switch on and had to call reception to watch end of Snooker. No instructions on how to operatre the Showers. How toopen the door to the fridge? Light switchchges. Peculiar switches on the bathroom mirror. etc. We never found out what thge "Spa" consisted of. Is it a small pool? A Sauna? Whirlpool. IU wnet down to "Retreat" - not clear what that was abd thge attendant just said I could have a "Treatment" The Gym was locked and dark. Howdoes aircon in bedroom work. Room very warm inc. overnight. At 24deg constant. No idea how to reduce.

Great location, 5/10 min walk to central Manchester. lovely big rooms, very clean. lovely friendly staff.

We picked this hotel particularly as the weather was sunny and they had an outside terrace, unfortunately it was closed all the time we were there as there had been some glass shattered. Not their fault but disappointing. The food portion sizes are tiny, I ordered a ‘fish bloomer’ in the bar for £12 and it was literally half a round of bread with some peas and 2 small strips of battered fish, nothing else. It tasted lovely but definitely not good value for money.

Excellent service from all staff and quality items on the tea tray and in the bathroom. Room and bathroom furnishings of a high quality throughout. Location ideal for city exploring with excellent local transport a short distance away. Breakfast menu excellent and the service of Denilson was exemplary with attention to detail, courtesy - and in our case a great sense of humour! Secure car parking enables guests to use excellent local transport when exploring the city.

Disappointed that there was no follow-up response from the hotel or housekeeping following our report that an electrical item had been left in the room. Why?

Location was brilliant. Booked a massage which was lovely.

Blreakfast was a bit disappointing got tea with a broken tea bag waited ages for its arrival in the first place then got anew t-pot with hardly any water in it just about scraped a cup from it There was no glasses for juice had to ask for some as none were coming Just a point to make-our room had only one shampoo the first evening we was there so I phoned reception and asked for a shampoo the girl thought I said champagne so her exact words were your not budgeted for champagne so I corrected her it was shampoo and her reply was she thought I was trying it on terminology not appropriate

The room was absolutely brilliant, in particular the bathroom and the bed. Breakfast was also great with a wide variety of food offered and lovely service from the service staff.

The initial check in, was not helpful with the the staff member not really providing us with the information that we needed resulting in us having to come down and check a second time. Also in the room opposite to where we were staying a workman was renovating so over the two days there were the noises of drills, saws, loud telephone conversations in the corridor all things that disturbed my husband and I.
