Room was quiet- surprisingly no noise came up from bar, other room doors are very close so just heard others coming back to their rooms.

Windows hard to open/ keep open using rope pulley. Awful lumpy pillows. Tea and coffee supplied but staff in restaurant seemed confused when I asked for some milk to take to room so we could make tea in the morning. Fairly expensive dinner for fish and chips/ burger but was good. Could be awkward that was about to order cooked breakfast thinking it was included until waitress advised was extra. Maybe don’t put menu on table and just explain/show what was included and offer cooked breakfast menu if want additional option? Toaster not working saw 2 people trying to cook toast and failed . Had to park on road side which seemed common in the village, as pub carpark full

Loved the setting in the wonderful village of Ramsbury with beautiful surroundings . The staff were refreshingly friendly and efficient, both front of house and behind the scene in the kitchen and cleaning. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, especially the burger. Continental breakfast was brilliant with plenty from which to choose. Also, loved the Ramsbury Ales. A nice touch was the village walking guides in our room (12 individual cards). and we did the one around the outskirts passing the stunning Manor parkland and along the Kennett river.

Although a modestly-sized room it lacked a chair... and there was room enough for a small one.

I went to Ramsbury for a family funeral. I never knew The Bell provided accommodation before, and its location was just perfect. The twin bedroom was nicely decorated, tidy and spotless. Although the restuarant is downstairs, one hardly heard any noise at all. The shower was strong and hot, the amenties were in order, the bed was very comfortable. I had a very good sleep. The continental breakfast was good.

The check-in time at 3 pm was a little bit tricky for me when my flight arrived London at 6 am in the morning. Fortunately, I was able to drop off my luggage at my family's cottage.

I stayed longer than one night. The staff were very friendly, approachable and went the extra mile. A lovely, quintessential English pub/restaurant. The food was excellent and served hot - as it should be if it's meant to be hot. The rooms vary, I had two due to my extended stay. Both rooms were comfortable and the beds, very comfortable. The larger room was amazing with lots of space and character. High fives for manager Lizzie / Liz (?), James the chef, Cameron, Jess, Ellie, Mia, Zack, Rosy, Izzy, Chloe , Sheryl / Cheryl (?). Good team one and all. It's dog friendly too!

No complaints.

Very helpful and friendly staff We loved the fact that all the ingredients came from the estate and were actually persuaded to try the squirrel nugget snacks - which was definitely a first for us both!

The shower gel/shampoo was empty in the actual shower but I swapped it with the containers near the sink. I was a little worried about the gel containers themselves as they were not plastic and I worried what might happen if one fell onto the porcelain of the shower itelf. I would have loved a biscuit to accompany the tea tray!

From start to finish, our experience at the Bell was a delight: from the start we were genuinely welcomed by exceptional staff: nothing was too much trouble for anyone and there seemed to be a naturalness about which made the whole place very welcoming. When we had an issue with our vehicle, the response was touchingly human and we are extremely grateful for all that was done to help us. We look forward to returning in due course to spend more time with our new friends!

Lovely pub in a beautiful area. Food at the restaurant was very good (although the interesting appetisers and starters on the menu were followed by a list of mostly standard pub main courses, though very well cooked in our experience); local beers and gin were great.

I opted to pay the extra for a "Superior King Room" as it was a special occasion. On arrival the room ("Perch") seemed small compared to the pictures of the room type, and contrary to descriptions on booking.com there was no bath, no seating area, no iron, and no minibar, all of which I had in a minor way factored into my decision to go for the more expensive room, and to stay here over another (cheaper) nearby pub. I queried and was moved to a different room ("Trout") of the same class, which had a bigger bed and a bath. I feel the description on this site should be more accurate. Breakfast was great although anything outside the (very good) continental breakfast is charged on top of the rate for "room + breakfast".

Clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable with good pillows and bedding. Some excellent service in the dining room.

The continental breakfast did not offer a great selection for dairy intolerant guests. There could have been a table and chair in the room as there was nowhere to put the tea and coffee tray except on the bedside table. A small problem easily solved. Room doors closed noisily, disruptive to other guests.

Staff were always lovely, friendly and helpful - They helped me in so many ways while I was staying. Speedy and unfussy resolution of any problems and always happy to help with a cheerful smile. Can’t praise them enough. Thank you! Perfect location in a lovely village. Super comfy and cosy rooms.

Nothing - it is a lovely, comfortable, friendly, relaxed place to stay in a perfect village location.

we stayed in the executive room it was very spacious, so so clean with sumptuous superking size bed with good bed linen. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Just a small negative comment with the lounge/bar area, it was extremely cold u less you were lucky enough to get the sofa seats next to the fire - unfortunately when we returned from the evening out we had to kee our coats on to have a drink in the bar.
