What a gem!! The Church Farmhouse B&B is simply stunning and is situated in an idyllic location. Alison's attention to detail and desire to ensure guests have a first class experience is evident throughout, from the quality of the bedding to the ingredients at breakfast. If you want to feel welcomed and comfortable then the Church Farmhouse is perfect.

Rose room is lovely! Breakfast very tasty and more than enough! Alison is so helpful-even gave us the key to the local church so we could have a look inside!

Nothing-the rooms and farmhouse are lovely. Village is quiet-there is a pub nearby in the next village with a very friendly landlady too!

Alison was a fantastic host. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. She's thought of everything you could possibly need. The farmhouse is located in a beautiful, quiet village. We had a very pleasant stay, a great night's sleep and a fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend.

There's nothing not to like

Spotlessly clean, lovely rooms, private parking, peaceful pretty location within a short drive to Newmarket and other attractions, very welcoming friendly host who supplied all the information we needed before and during our stay, delicious breakfast, comfy beds.

The property is located in a small village, it is very calm and quiet. You can see peacocks walking around! The owner lady is super friendly. Breakfast is very good. You can sit outside in the garden as well. Room was really big, clean and there was prepared instant coffee (decaffeinated as well!) and tea too. Cambridge is 20-30 minutes far by car.

The house is lovely, and the ground floor room I shared with my friend was perfect for us - quiet, clean, comfortable, ensuite bathroom (with great shower) and a back door to the garden/yard which we left open so we could keep cool on the hottest night of 2022 (so far?!). Alison was really helpful in advance, as was her son who was in the house when we arrived to welcome us and answer questions.

Allison is so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The beds are extremely comfortable. It was bitterly cold during our stay but we had extra heaters in the room and hot water bottles! we did not have breakfast on this visit but we did during our last stay there and it was excellent.

Location fantastic, nearby Bury St. Edmonds excellent for a visit. Very location to the venue for the wedding we were attending. Fabulous property, very quiet ground floor room, practically self-contained. Very comfortable bed, and tidy room, en-suite bathroom very nice too. Superb breakfast, wonderful host, very flexible with times for breakfast and check-in!!!!

Beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. The owner Alison couldn’t do enough for you. Really friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Fantastic cook.

Dressing table not massively functional (chest of drawers with a mirror on) and chair broken to sit on. Not great to get ready. Seat kept falling off the chair.

My friend and I had a perfect stay here for two nights. Alison was a lovely, welcoming host and the B&B exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Rose room, which was characterful, spacious, extremely comfortable, perfectly clean, and with a huge bathroom. The shower was hot and powerful, and having a little sofa in the room was a bonus. We especially appreciated the fresh water and fresh milk for our tea/coffee tray, and I was even more impressed that all the tea, coffee, sugar and hot chocolate were Fairtrade! Breakfast was great - including the most delicious bacon I have ever tasted - and it was lovely to know it was all locally sourced. The B&B is in a great location, very quiet at night, right next to a beautiful church, and with country walks from the front door. Would highly recommend!
