Hotel very well located and beautifully decorated. Incredibly large room size! The wifi is quite fast and the breakfast is varied and quite delicious. The staff is very friendly, I arrived late at the train station and they picked me up. I had a fairly comfortable, calm stay and I felt protected. I would definitely go back to stay there!

I would be lying to say something that I did not like because it is a dream hotel. Staff is very helpful and kind; they make your stay to feel better than at home! Bravo.

Friendly and lively room. Very impressed there was a Nespresso coffee machine in our room.

The TV didn’t work at all during our stay. The information booklet did state that the signal was patchy and there wasn’t a fault with the TV but surely the problem could have been resolved? The only other annoyance was the couple stating in the room below us who constantly let their door slam shut every time they went out for a cigarette.

The inspiration for the Prancing Pony of LOTR, this coaching inn was a wonderful stay! The room was awesome and well-appointed, the breakfast was delicious, and the service was superior. What a fantastic stay. We stayed at the end of a drive through the Cotswolds, and it was a great ending point for the day, as well as an excellent jumping off point for the next day's visit to Stratford. Really happy we stayed here!

The breakfast was super good choices We had supper one evening, Chicken potatoes and beans very tasty.The location was great for local buses as we had no car, and the train station made it so convenient to get back London to start our journey to Edinburgh and our bus tour to Lewis /Harris and Skye. The room #4 was so perfect for my sister and I. the beds were very comfortable. We would stay there again and will tell others what a great place you have.the staff went overboard to help us with long distance calls back to Canada ,to get my sisters purse back after she left in a cab.Thank you ALL for wonderful start to our vacation!

NOTHING only that we should have booked for a longer stay!!!!

We stayed in the hay loft in the converted stables and it was very comfortable. A lovely king size bed and the room was large to accommodate a sofa. Refreshments were good and a nespresso coffee machine and kettle were provided, THe breakfast was very good and prepared to order.

We were surprised the bar was closed on the Sunday evening but as we were tired from travelling, it did not pose a problem.

The room was a really nice size and my friends and I didn't feel cramped at all. The shower was large and the bathroom was a great size, especially for Europe. The breakfast was wonderful and we looked forward to it each day and the man who served it to us was lovely. The location was amazing and everything was only a short walk from our hotel.

The only thing that could have been better in my opinion was the weather was pretty warm and there was no air conditioning so it could get pretty uncomfortable at times. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

Had a excellent stay with Friends, rooms were big and clean, good location (5 mins walk from train station and bus stop), nice freshly made breakfast (could have more variety and timings should be extended), Beer garden at the back is great place to wind down after a day of sightseeing. Big shoutout to the Inn Keeper John who is always cheerful and ready to help His adorable friend Finlay always ready for a tummy rub (yep he is dog) is a bonus.

Breakfast timing should be extended (1 hour window is too short) A few more items in the breakfast (flavoured yogurt, bagels etc) would have been nice

I can write enough to praise everything abour out stay at The Bell Inn. Our room was amazing, huge, clean, the bed was so comfortable, warm and plenty of tea/coffee/towels. The staff were simply lovely, really personable, helpful, friendly and couldnt do enough for you. We stayed over New Year and I received a phone call to see if we needed a table saved for NYE - which I thought was tremendous. The Hotel itself is smack bang in the middle of the town, with parking right out front. Due to it being a pub and they open/close at certain times, we were given our own key to get in and out of the property, so we could come and go as we pleased. Overall, highly recommended.

The only thing that I didnt like, was that we couldn't stay longer.

Staff were very welcoming, friendly, & helpful. Our room was on the ground floor off the courtyard but was surprisingly quite ; our Bed was very comfortable & the room itself clean & airy, the shower powerful & hot. The breakfast was cooked & presented beautifully . We would highly recommend.

beautiful pub with the most perfect pub dog Finlay the golden doodle sleeping by the fireplace all day. rooms were extremely clean and some really nice touches like the magazine, teas and biscuits, toiletries. fantastic shower. landlord went above and beyond to cater for our dietary needs and provided a brilliant breakfast which is included in the price. would 100% stay again.

nothing that bothered us, but you are in a separate converted building to the pub and you can hear quite a bit of movement from the rooms above if you are in the twin room, if you are in the larger rooms upstairs I’m sure it’s a lot better. floor is creaky basically but it didn’t affect us really.
