A lovely traditional Cotswolds Hotel in a fantastic location right in the centre of Stow on the Wold. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and all the expected on suite facilities. The staff were excellent very helpful and polite and a credit to the hotel. The food was very good both at breakfast time and the evening meals.

The only minor improvement would have been a small wardrobe in the room instead of hooks on the wall.

Fantastic location in Stow marketplace with the added bonus of private parking behind the hotel. The hotel is packed with character and we were very well looked after by the friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was great - freshly cooked to order - and we also enjoyed a good evening meal in the pub on the ground floor. Overall, a really nice place to stay in a historic building in the heart of the Cotswolds.

This is an ancient building so don't expect the boutique hotel room experience. Our room on the top floor was reasonably spacious but the bathroom was very small and the lighting in the room was a bit inadeqaute. The walls are paper thin so we could hear everything the neighbours were up to! The room is at the top of a very steep set of stairs so if you have any mobility issues ask for a room on one of the lower floors. These are only minor complaints and didn't spoil the pleasure of staying in a historic building.

The location was excellent, the staff were very welcoming ( especially Ellie) and the breakfasts were delicious. Our room, overlooking the square, was charming with a window seat to watch the world go by.

Freshly cooked breakfast good, any issues resolved courteously. Staff were friendly & helpful. The location very good, Stow is a great location, excellent range of retail opportunities. One issue, remember to ensure you have booked an evening meal at Kings or other option as most places get booked up quickly & seem to close relatively early. This hotel retains its quirky history which we really liked.

Explanation of how to find King's Arms car park on confirmation of booking, we found this unnecessarily stressful.

Stow on the wold is a beautiful town with plenty of quirky shops ,lovely tea rooms ,restaurants and pubs ,would highly recommend visiting this lovely town ,the kings arms is a charming inn in the centre of town with plenty of parking ,great choice of real ales ,roaring open fire and very friendly staff.The breakfast was excellent value for money and the rooms were very comfortable with a lovely view over the Market square would def recommend staying here .

The steps going up to the top floor very steep so if you have mobility issues ask for lower floor bedrooms ,but this would not put us off from staying again as we had a lovely relaxing stay

Staff Friendly. Bed comfortable and no issues sleeping the location was peaceful. We had breakfast included and there was a veggie option if needed. Breakfast was well organised and no issues there. For us there were no issues parking and we found a space whenever we returned from a day out.

Couldn't see the Wi Fi on any of our devices. In fairness we never mentioned this to the staff as we had alternative methods of connection so for us a minor point

Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent food, we had breakfast and main evening meals over our 3 day stay and couldn't fault the food. Staff were so helpful and polite and made our stay very welcoming. Location was amazing, right in the middle of Stow so ideal for everything.

Lovely hotel with a very warm and friendly feel. Staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful plus the food and drinks are all of a high standard and good value. The location is about as central as you can get plus there is parking which is a bonus. Great location for exploring Stow on the Wold and ideal for that short stumble home after the pubs close.

It was very warm in the room and we had a fan but would have been great to be able to open the windows.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very accommodating, we arrived later than expected and the young girl waited for us, very much appreciated. The breakfast was delightful, well worth adding it to the room. The location is perfect, and I would recommend using the car park at Tesco if there's no parking available, this is free for 72 hours.

If you have any mobility issues, make them aware as rooms 8-11 are up an extremely steep flight of stairs.

The Kings Arms is in a perfect location in the middle of the gorgeous Stow in the Wold. Our room was cute with good facilities - tv, tea and coffee, full size hairdryer. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and made the hotel feel instantly welcoming. Breakfast was superb and we ate at the hotel one night and that was pretty good too!

We were warned that our room was up a very steep flight of stairs, but didn’t expect the ceiling to be so low - not ideal if you’re tall! We also didn’t find the bed/pillows comfortable. Having said all this, the room was still very good value for money for the Cotswolds.
