Great pub with excellent guest information booklet and well laid out rooms that are kept very clean with room refreshments and home made biscuits provided (including fresh milk). The pub also provide four short planned walking routes. Staff are a credit to the business and go out of their way to help to ensure you have an enjoyable break. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice ranging from cereals, continental style and full English plus other cooked items. If you can eat all this the follow up is toast with home made jams which were excellent. Rooms are a bit warm but have a good en-suite shower area. The evening menu is tasty and comes recommended.
Being a listed building there is no air conditioning and as such the room was very warm even in July Fans are provided and the windows do open. The only downside is the lack of phone network but to be honest if you are staying here for R&R this shouldn't be an issue as the Wi-Fi connection is very good.

Charming English countryside location. Cozy, impeccable room with all the necessary facilities and a great shower. The food was great, including the delicious breakfast offer and tasty lunch dishes. All the staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive to detail. The inn was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the pub was enchanting and it all felt like a real home away from home. The plus, for us dog lovers, was encountering other guests who were staying with their beautiful dogs in the various dog-friendly rooms available. Congrats to the GM and all his team for creating such a delightful atmosphere - thank you for a wonderful stay. I look forward to visiting again soon.
Nothing.

The welcome on arrival was very efficient and friendly and nice to be shown to our rooms by a member of staff. The room was exactly as described, with a comfortable double bed, tea and coffee making facilities, tv and a spotlessly clean en-suite bathroom with a good shower and great towels. Both breakfast and evening meals were served by friendly staff and the quality of the food and it's presentation was very good. All the staff were so friendly and the bar/restaurant area had a nice atmosphere. We would certainly visit again.
Everything was good, so there was nothing we didn't like.

Fantastic pub! A hearty welcome to this touring cyclist upon arrival. The most unique, arguably the best, cycle storage I have seen as I have cycled around the world—a dedicated and locked shed for your bike. Fantastic! The pub. Beautiful! Great beers. No dinner as I ate in town, but the breakfast was absolutely first rate. Delicious, plentiful, super high quality. The room was superb. Lovely. Clean as a whistle. Very comfortable. Great bathroom, great soaps, great towels. Absolutely first rate. A serene and quiet location just a couple easy miles from town. If ever I cycle near here again, I will definitely stay at the Greyhound again. Many thanks to all for a splendid stay! Keep on pedalin’ Michael Himes

The staff was engaging and wonderful! I loved that every meal had a vegan / vegetarian option. It was quiet, but clearly a place where locals gather. I look forward to staying there again!
An odd thing, actually - I wanted to buy a piece of artwork that was hanging on the wall. I asked about it several times, but no one ever followed up. I was disappointed, but I'll email and try to make it work long distance.

Stayed and had both dinner (outstanding) and breakfast (excellent selection of British and continental food). Both the pub and rooms are beautifully decorated and painted in subtle but colourful palette. Very tranquil location. Beds are super-comfortable.
The 'Wine of the Moment' was not available. Waiting staff should be aware of this and should have informed us when menus were given to us. We were not offered water at the table or any bread. Waiting staff were very young and lacking in knowledge about the dishes. We asked for a selection of all the cheeses and while these were beautifully presented, we had no idea which cheese was which: at very least, they could have been presented with labels. The waiting staff did not know which cheeses were which either and had to go and ask.

We had such a great stay at The Grey Hound Inn. The room was so much better than the photos and the bed was really comfortable and they left home made biscuits in the room which was lovely. The staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast is AMAZING, so many options and all delicious, the restaurant in the evenings does incredible food too and if you stay they reserve you a table in the evenings. Really lovely walking spots nearby which the staff recommended and close to Oxford centre and Bicester Village. Really great stay.
Nothing, it was perfect.

I have stayed here many times and I love it. Its ideally located for anyone visiting relatives in Richmond Village which is a short walk away. Every room is different and very comfortable. I am usually arriving late and the staff are very helpful in making sure I can get something to eat after the kitchens closed. The food is excellent and I have enjoyed many lovely dinners with my frail mother in law. The staff always make sure we are on an easy to get to table.
There is nothing I dont like.

The Greyhound Inn has lots of character. It is comfortable, with a spacious bar and restaurant, with modern facilities but - as an Inn originating in the 19th Century or even earlier - it retains all its old world charm. The Inn is in a quiet village location and offers ample parking. The restaurant is first class. Staff are professional and friendly. Our room was compact but comfortable , with a modern en-suite bathroom.

Fabulous food, very helpful staff - made us a sandwich for our late arrival, pretty location, very comfortable room with home made shortbreads and hot chocolate. Let us put our muddy bikes into an easy access room.
I would have liked black out curtains as I was woken up at 5 am by a very bright sunlit room. Just a thin blind up at the window. That may not wake up most people.
