This place is cheap considering the living cost of this country. It is in the city centre. The room is pretty good. Hot shower, comfi beds, and they provides breakfast too (not anything extravagant but adequate). Good value for money, definitely!

Location was ideal & parking gave peace of mind. Due to the location & its' centrality to public transport, I was able to leave the car parked @ the hotel & use a local bus service (right outside the hotel!) into Newcastle Centre & then have the option of using both the Metro & Newcastle Central Rail services to explore both Newcastle & outlying areas, such as Durham & York.

Not applicable. Everything was absolutely fine!

The room I stayed was double suite and it was spacious and good. Bathroom was also good with shower room and toiletries and towels. The hotel was conveniently placed close to central with walkable distance and a bus stop just 1 minute walk and multiple other stops close by. Limited parking onsite was also provided though I didn't opt for it. On the whole it was value for money deal!

The cleanliness was not up to mark. Shower room had some hair strands which they didn't remove even after repeated cleanings. The breakfast is just a grab and go packet with yogurt, fruit, juice and croissant and is repetitive.

Superb location - 15 minutes walking distance from St James' Park. Excellent value for your money for such a central location. Really great that free parking is also included in the room. This is a budget room/hotel - you get what you pay for so if you want a low budget, clean and central location then this is an excellent choice.

We paid extra for a 'Superior Suite' and whilst the room was very big, the bed was still only a double. We would have expected a much larger bed for a 'Superior' room. The 'Breakfast to go' is more like "breakfast snacks to go" and the 'snacks' could be a little more varied.

Pleasant and helpful staff, good sized rooms, our group of 13 were all situated close to each other. The breakfast bag was refreshing in the morning as we were there for a stag do, and the apple/orange juice helped kickstart the day..

In room 124, there were many holes in the wall which were shaped like fist marks and we felt obligated to take pictures on arrival as we did not want to lose our refundable deposits. Nothing came of this however! In the same room, the shower was leaking over the bathroom floor from a broken seal or detaching silicon. There was an awful smell coming from the drains in room 113 which was not pleasant, however, we did not spend enough time in the hotel to let this bother us.

A twenty minute walk from Central Station. Beds were comfy and I liked the takeaway breakfast idea which you could either take with your on the way out after check out or take it to your room. Good value for money. I appreciate hotels that have 11am check out times and that allow late check-ins as I was at a show beforehand so couldn't check in until gone 10 pm.

The TV signal would go funny at times with no way to control it as there was no access to move the aerial. Whilst you can't make it completely sound proof due to my room window facing the main road, I think the widows could do with either double or triple glazing assuming they aren't already double glazed as you could really hear the traffic quite bad..I thought my window must have been open but it wasn't. Breakfast bag items was different to what advertised. I would have loved a pastry or muffin! Shower was also a bit difficult to work out, I couldn't get it warm for ages then it suddenly got too hot.

Room was pleasant, staff were awesome in trying to find me a steam iron. Unfortunately the one they found leaked, but the housekeeping staff offered to iron my shirt and trousers for me in their press. She couldn't have been more helpful, very nice of her and the staff on reception to help like that. Loved it.

Unfortunately the shower was dirty, found a long hair stuck to the wall. But it was soon resolved by reception staff, housekeeping was sent immediately to rectify this problem and she couldn't apologise enough for the mistake. All in all, staff made it very pleasant despite this setbback.

Firstly thankyou for the staff allowing to keep my suitcase in storage. It's not a facility they offer but under my circumstances, long travel, alone and disabled they were helpful. Checking in simple, yes it was hot but that was the weather. Had a fan in the room huge bonus. Slept well and had decent facilities. Late checkout also allowed as a one off but overall enjoy it. Staff were overall appreciated

Can't be fussy as the price but if u was to knit pick just small daft things like curtain were a bit short so light came in. Plug socket in odd location. But that's just tiny things.

We were in town to watch Springsteen in Sunderland, decided to book a room in Newcastle and catch the Metro to the gig. Lots of people in town so was tough to book a room for reasonable money. Then I found this place. Good location only 10 minute walk from station and was a fair price. Simple set up, roadside lodge style hotel but clean and comfortable. Staff were nice and it was easy to book in. On check out in the morning you received a small bag of breakfast goodies to take away with you which I thought was a nice touch and very kind. We ate these on the train home (ha slightly hungover!).

Ha the weather!

We have stayed at Rooms Inn several times now, and it’s a great budget option. Only a 15 minute walk from the city centre (although it’s uphill!) with free parking. It is in an ideal location if you are driving into the city as it is just outside of the new congestion zone, so you can enter and exit the city free of charge. The rooms themselves are quite run down, but they are always clean. The staff are always really friendly and helpful, we tend to stay here for match days and they always let us park our car before we can check in, and for the day after we have checked out.

The bathroom was particularly run down. The shelf above the sink was not straight so everything fell off of it. We did not have any glasses provided to drink water so had to resort to using our coffee mugs. There used to be a vending machine in the lobby containing snacks and drinks, and this is no longer there which was disappointing. Normally we pay a budget price for this hotel, so we can overlook these elements, but this particular time we did not pay a budget price so we would like to see these elements improved, if we are to continue staying here.
