Very clean and tidy, despite the description saying there was no tea/coffee making facilities in rooms unless stated there was a little kitchen area outside my room to make tea/coffee. Michelle was superb, great host. The room was a great size and spacious, very clean inside. Well worth the price I paid for my stay. Despite no breakfast available there's a few shops nearby where you can get some food, or take a short bus ride into the city centre. Overall very pleasant.

Was kinda noisy at night/early hours of the morning. But the hotel is on a communal street amidst houses, so it is to be expected.

The host was exceptional! Absolutely lovely and kind in all regards, she made sure my partner and I was okay our entire stay and always had a warm vibe. As we were leaving, she came out to say goodbye, and even though we were really tired, it was really nice of her to do so! Even gave us a hug, haha

The shower temperature would go from hot to cold every 2 seconds The rooms on the night get quite cold and because there's no thermometer you get quite cold Walls are paper thin, can hear people in other rooms, walking around/using the toilet. Could also hear a dog barking several times through the night Broken chair

Myself and friends came to Newcastle to meet for a reunion and a night around the town, I was looking for a safe comfy clean place to rest my head at the end of a heavy evening, I couldn't have asked for more and the Owner Michelle was a lovely host with good banter, would definitely use this place again there is a shop around the corner as well, it's a bit of a walk to the centre but it's all downhill from the hotel.

Small criticism really, the bathroom door didn't have a handle on the Inside of the door so closing it fully was a bit of a faff.

Michele who met me on arrival, was very pleasant, helpful and informative. The place was very clean, well decorated and great value for the price paid. Basic but very adequate. A good nights sleep had.

I was walking and the nearest Metro stop was quite a way away. Uphill and in the heat, was not nice, get a Taxi !!!! Crossley Terrace was not pleasant to walk through. How ever the Guest House was lovely, outside seating area and well value for money. Basic but fine, well maintained, decorated, very clean and tidy, lovely.

- Quiet location close to the city centre, and town moor (start line for great north 10k and great north run). - Good sized room with decent shower. - Open 'wardrobe' with plenty of hangers - TV which had all of the freeview channels (something of a luxury in English hotels) - Friendly and welcoming staff

- Only two electrical sockets in the room one of which was at high level for the TV. The other was in the wardrobe area. There were a few blanked off electrical points so perhaps more sockets could be installed or even consider providing a multitap? - No bedside table or light. The only alternative to the main light was above the sink - Lights in the 'wardrobe' did not work. Not sure if the LEDs had blown or there was a fault in the switch.

The hotel facilities were modern and clean and I found the bed comfortable. Service was minimal but adequate. There were facilities for coffee and tea in the lounge. There was a good place for breakfast not too far away and many other restaurants.

The hotel was ideal for me but guests do need to be aware that it is in a quiet residential area with not much going on. It offers a very good place to sleep and is excellent value but there are no frills. However it is not far to walk into the city centre and there are frequent busses.

Hotel was in great location for city centre as we went for the weekend for a s festival Michele the staff member who live on site was amazing from check in to extra pillows nothing was to much for this little diamond room where clean and spacious lounge area was equipped with tea coffee station large TV. Free parking right outside hotel added bonus if you stay here Michele has great knowledge of the area and a real asset to this hotel me and my friends can’t wait to come back Newcastle again.

We loved our stay... We stayed there for two nights.... On street parking was perfect. As soon as you enter the building it looks bright and modern. Smells great as you open the door. But not overpowering.. Everywhere is fresh and clean. Our room had three single beds with so much room to move around.... Really comfy beds... We had a great sleep... Definelty stay here again.... Thanks for a lovely stay .... :)

There was no blinds on the velux windows .. We managed to sleep through the daylight however lighter sleepers may struggle.

It's a nice small hotel, at a perfect price and location. Good value for money, a comfortable bed and soft new towels 😊. Friendly staff too )

I had little problems with checking in after 10 pm. It's not that something was bad bout the hotel, just make sure you find out all the details, including your room number, in advance in case you are going to come after 10 pm. And also - trust the picture of the house on the site, not Google maps)
