Very good breakfast with many options and friendly staff
Cleaning of the room was only done late afternoon, which was inconvenient. Two days of our five days stay the room was not cleaned by 4 pm - so we told cleaning staff just to leave it.

Room was good, having safe, fridge and ironing facility excellent Location of hotel very close to trains and central newcastle parking was the thing that confirmed the deal Breakfast choices and management of the tables were excellent
selection of beers at bar was restricted to larger or cans of guinness small issue of not having info on the air conditioning/heating in room so wasnt until final day worked out could turn off as found it disturbing through the night, however could have enquired of staff but not that big a deal

The staff first & foremost, universally friendly genuinely helpful & happy. The facilities were exactly what I requested, an upgraded room as described which enhanced my stay. We ate an evening meal which was lovely & the breakfast was different class to most hotels using fresh ingredients & the cooked breakfast a refreshing option. The breakfast manager was more than helpful, bright, witty & charming. Even provided me with a sample of the delicious blackcurrent compote. That’s above & beyond service. Very happy customers.
Nothing to report everything & everyone delightful.

Close to the train station and choice of bars and eating places within walking distance. The room was a good size and quiet. Great breakfast, good quality and lots of choice. Welcoming and friendly staff.
A tea/coffee tray was provided but we had to ask at reception for extra tea, coffee and milk as it wasn't replenished. We had a top floor room (that we had requested). The weather was particularly hot during our 2 night stay. The first night the room temperature was ok but the second night the room was very hot. A/C didn't seen to be working very well.

Excellent location as it is about 5-7 mins walk from the railway station and a close walk to the city centre. The staff (at the reception and the restaurant) were both courteous and helpful. The breakfast spread was good and the dinner was also nice.
A couple of things - the cleanliness of the room and bathroom (there was someone else's used pair of socks under my bed and a few strands of hair in the bathroom and on the bed) The intercom was not working so I had to go to the public intercom near the lift to order room service. Also, the housekeeping room was right next to mine and it was constantly being banged/closed with a lot of force!

The staff were so friendly. The lady organising breakfasts and the lady with the coloured hair in the restaurant in the evening were fantastic. The cooked breakfast was great and as a vegetarian, I appreciated the quality of it as usually they are quite poor. Really nice bathroom.
The view from the room of the car park wasn’t attractive. The diagram on the wall didn’t match the remote control for the air conditioning and heating. We never did manage to work it out.

The rooms were spacious, the bed comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. The bar area looked nice and welcoming, but we didn't use the bar or restaurant, so can't comment on the food/drink. The location was also fantastic - a stone's throw from the train station and only a 10 minute ish walk from the main shopping areas.
The staff were pleasant enough and I don't have any complaints as such about them, but the woman checking us in wasn't very informative (didn't mention anything about dining options, breakfast, check out times etc.), and brought out a wrong bag that we'd had stored from earlier in the day, before we had to correct her. I expected a little more. Also, the mirrors in the rooms were all hung so high - not ideal for a smaller person.

easily access to hotel, the checkin was quick
customer service was poor. room service and facility was rubbish- phone in the room wasn’t working and I had to come four floors down to place order for room service multiple times before they could get it right and reception and kitchen. No effort made to change bad telephone, no apologies offered, I was told it could be the phone is not working, I was expected to accept that an okay for a service paid for and walk down four floors to order food and they still didn’t get it right first time.

Conveniently located within walking distance of train station; shops; galleries; restaurants and city. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts superb. Room spacious and modern. Room quiet, despite facing main roads nearby. Recommend and would use again!
Bed not the most comfy (two adjoining beds could do with renewing and prefer less "rustly" linen), but this was the only slightly negative. Restaurant has great food but dubious photos of Pierre wotshisname (bit gratuitously grumpy and off-putting all around the room). But the friendly, chatty server made up for the poor decor.

The room was really lovely with a beautiful bathroom packed with shampoos, body wash etc. The location was superb, just a couple of minutes walk from the train station and really in the centre of everything. superb. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This will be my "go to" hotel my next trip to Newcastle.
There wasn't anything as we knew that the restaurant wasn't open beforehand and that breakfast would be a cold buffet. This wasn't to our taste but on saying that it was plentiful of breakfast cereals, filled bagels, fruit, yogurts etc. You couldn't fault the hotel for the buffet was plentiful and you were encouraged to take as much as you want. Please be assured this is not a complaint, just my husband likes a full english as a treat!!
