The member of staff that checked us, sorry didn't get his name, was great ! really friendly. The room was newly refurbished, I would imagine as it was immaculate. Alot of facilities in room such as microwave, fridge etc. Great en-suite and shower amazing. Bed was very comfy ! Location was great, just off high street so within walking distance of town and museums.

The room was a little cramped. The bed was huge, so we felt it would have been better to have a smaller bed and then perhaps another chair. It was unfortunate as we stayed the night the Queen passed away, so wanted to watch the TV but felt a bit cramped.

just the car parking situation, however this was clearly stated as first come first served by the hotel, so no complaints on that front. One thing I would say is that it might be worth pointing folk in the direction of a long stay car park (Fred Archer way levels 4&5 £10 for a week!! This is a couple of hundred yards away)- I'm not from the area and it took half an hour to find somewhere (Plenty of parking is signposted but the car parks seem to have vanished!)- although any normal person would have found something sooner

Nice room, bijoux, but was suitable for my one night stop. If I had stayed longer, I would have hoped for a larger one. I bought my own breakfast. Evening menu limited, but nice when it arrived.

Car parking. Some hotels do not accept large vehicles. One issue is that if you are unfortunate to arrive after 16:15, the small car park is filled with 2-3 huge commercial/ construction company vans. Is it possible to insist these are parked elsewhere (which is what the car owners have to do when these vans block up the car park)?

The location was great. The lady who helped me check in was lovely and the young man who helped me with dinner was a delight. They worked hard and were friendly, helpful and polite.

The bed mattress was too soft for me, but that is personal preference. I also like whole milk and only skimmed milk was supplied. The smell going through the three doors to my room was rather unpleasant.

Great beer garden, decent room, good location for town centre

shower wasn’t great, bass from music from bar/garden was quite loud in room, however we stayed to use the bar and other pubs so by the time we got to bed it had finished, for others staying and wanting a quite room it may not be for them. it was a Saturday night so to be expected.

Absolutely great for a 1 night stay for business, met by lovely staff who moved her car for me so I could park. Rooms where lovely and clean some nice touches and in the really nicely furbished top floor. Bed was big and comfy and dressed well. Only drawback was the electric shower, which was a struggle to even get myself wet with!!

Comfortable and cosy. The bathroom and the bed are also clean. The wifi worked well on normal phone. :) The room had a microwave and kettle.

Although the bed was a large double bed, unfortunately it consisted of 2 separate mattrasses. :( Sadly, the wifi did not work well on iPhone.

It was my first time in New market, and it was very easy to locate. The room was nice, the receptionist was helpful. I was worried about the noise from the garden,but I could barely hear anything.
