Fabulous hosts, very comfortable and rather nostalgic as it reminded me of B&B's I stayed in as a child with my parents. For the short period of time you are there you are treated as one of the family. The breakfast choices were fabulous and of excellent quality. Would absolutely recommend and will use again.

It may have simply been that our room was slightly smaller than others, but whilst we stayed for only one night we had a large suitcase because we'd been on a much longer trip overseas. We did struggle for enough space to lay it out flat to use both sides and if we'd had one each it would have been impossible. It still wouldn't stop me from staying again!

The room was lovely, very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and a nice view over the garden. Lots of parking space at the front of the building too, which is always helpful. Staff were friendly, conscientious and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, freshly-cooked and with a good choice on the menu. Good location too if you don't mind a stroll after dinner - it's about a half hour walk into the centre of Norwich, but this suited us fine. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel and buses are frequent if you don't fancy the walk. The Eagle pub, five minutes away, serves good food, a good selection of beers and has a lovely garden.

Nothing.

This is an excellent bread and breakfast/hotel and perhaps one of the best I have stayed at. Cleanliness was exceptional. It was quiet and breakfast in the morning was brilliant. One little feature I loved in the room was there was a drawstring switch (like in the toilet) just above the bed so you could get into bed and pull the drawstring to switch of the light so you don't need to stumble around in the dark before getting into bed (might think of doing that at home.) I also found the bed amazing and slept well in it. Finally, I liked the fact that the place was enclosed so you could park your car well away from the street safely.

Separate bathroom but to be fair, it was around the corner from my room (not like another place where it was down a set of stairs and PIN code protected.) Location was a bit far out from Norwich city centre. I walked to Chapelfield Park for the Norfolk and Norwich festival (think it took 30 minutes) but had to get a taxi back but yet again because it is further out from the city, it is quiet and on a good location leading out of Norwich when you have to leave.

The attention to detail in all aspects at this property is exceptional. Rooms are elegantly furnished and provide guests with a very comfortable, quiet stay. There is plenty of parking space and the location makes onward travel simple and the facilities and sights of Norwich are within walking distance or a very short bus ride away. As a guest, your personal comfort and well being are of the utmost importance to the host. The breakfast, cooked to order on an individual basis, is worthy of a 5 star hotel. A truly delightful stay.

Nothing to dislike or to improve.

The breakfast was great a good selection and products. The bed was comfortable and had a great night's sleep. That's the two things we look for in a hotel a good night sleep and nice breakfast so ticked our boxes. Great location close to city and A47 if going further afield we had a small room with external private bathroom but this was not an issue.

Having to decide what time you want to come down for breakfast and one large table for everyone at breakfast, I prefer to wake up and come down, and then have my coffee before having contact with others. But that is just my preference.

I booked here as I was visiting my daughter at UEA and this was very close by, the owner was very accomodating, calling me the afternoon before I arrived to make arrangements and confirm breakfast requirements. The room was quite, very well furnished, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was as advertised exceptional and even came with branston pickle which is hardly ever available I find, I will definitely book here again for my next visit.

The was nothing negative at all, I would only suggest that a really great addition might be the option to charge an EV at an extra cost.

Great location, close to the University (where I was attending a conference), but also not far from town too. Elliott communicated well in regards to my arrival and was accomodating with me shifting my times for arriving (and again for breakfast). He also provided a great recommendation for dinner, just down the road. Would definitely stay again if / when I am next back in Norwich.

My room had a private bathroom that wasn't ensuite. However, it was just across the hall and was private to me. And there was a dressing gown for me to wear, which was a lovely touch (and used)!

The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was delicious. We were the only ones staying that particular night so got upgraded to the room with the ensuite bathroom. The owners were very helpful and recommended a hotel close by for dinner, which was very tasty, especially the Sticky toffee pudding! I found all the nautical themed pictures interesting on the stairwell.

Nothing for us, but if you're a bit less mobile the stairs might be tricky as the guest rooms are on the top floor of the house.

Elliot provided a warm welcome to the lovely Chestnut Grove. Plenty of parking, a charming room with a well-stocked tea tray and a comfortable bed with feather duvet and pillows. The breakfast was absolutely superb! Although close to a main road, the double glazing and trees mean that the rooms are very peaceful. There are lots of facilities too if you are making a longer stay or have children.

One has to be very picky to find anything not to like here. My only suggestion for improvements would be thermostatic controls on the bedroom radiators so people can choose how warm they want the room but really this is such a good B&B, I would highly recommend it.

Chestnut Grove was a lovely house with plenty of parking to the front. The rooms were tastefully decorated and had some lovely furnishings throughout. They were also immaculately clean which made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a highlight for me, with plenty to choose from, cereal, fruits and natural yoghurt, and the full English which was delicious and set me up nicely for the day. Elliot and his mom were friendly and were the perfect hosts, they made me very welcome during my two night stay in Norwich. I will definitely look at stopping again, and would highly recommend it to other travellers.

Nothing, it was faultless.
