This is one hotel that proves that ⭐️ ratings can be very deceiving. While just 3 stars this hotel offers unmatched comfort, qualitiy appliances in the rooms as well as having the friendliest staff I've ever encountered in my years of travelling. The decor, the layout and the rooms feel very homely in the best way possible, allowing for more comfort and relaxation than any large copy-paste hotel. The Georgian Townhouse Norwich is a hidden gem and an absolute bargain.

My only issue is that I couldn't stay longer.

great location. Nice bar and restaurant area. Quiet in terms of road noise as it had effective secondary double glazing. Great shower. I enjoyed staying here again but it’s felt like it had lost a bit of its edge and showing signs of wear and tear. breakfast not good value for money at £25.

room very dark - a couple of table lights not working. Sofa quite stained - could easily have been cleaned and made to look good. toilet seat loose. small things really but point to it showing signs of wear and tear.

We have stayed several times before so much the same as before. Lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and plenty of space. Excellent restaurant and bar and plenty of space outside too. Rooms very comfortable with good bathrooms - quiet at night. Location excellent too - 10 minute stroll to the market and bus outside front door goes to Uni in one direction and the station in the other. Have tried staying elsewhere for a change and always end up back here!

Not much. Rooms can be warm in Summer though good fans are provided. Flip side is warm in Winter. Rooms in main building cosier than the apartments across the road. Parking a bit limited as they often host weddings and the like - which are separated from, and don’t interfere with, the hotel guests. Real downside is our daughter has finished at UEA so we won’t be coming back very often. Sad, as it really is that good.

Nice decor and friendly staff. Good parking and an easy walk into Norwich. Keypad access to get to the rooms made it feel safe. 50% off offer when returning within a month was a nice touch.

Bar area shut rather early, very expensive snacks/drinks in the mini bar, room was quite warm and we had a view of the heating flue and rubbish from the kitchens below. TV was ok but no access to Netflix etc. Coffee maker was faulty, had an old pod partially punctured and wedged in, and it leaked. Only coffee pods, or tea bags, so no instant coffee or instant hot chocolate option. Ran out of loo roll on check out morning and there was no spare roll.

the apartment was a lovely big space, very clean and tidy and welcoming. It was in a fantastic location, and very comfortable. we really liked the added touches of complimentary biscuits, tea coffee sugar and milk. the decor was lovely too. It was warm cosy and clean. we used the restaurant and enjoyed the food and drinks, we found the staff to be very friendly and the accommodating. we will definitely go back!

The only thing I have a little complaint about is how noisy the fridge was. I couldn’t work out where the noise was coming from to begin with and then I found it. it was quite distracting. we stayed in St Giles apartment.

The room was a unique style, we stayed on this occasion in the stables apartment. It was clean with good facilities. We both liked the room and the layout. To take it to the next level, it just need's a paint Some expected marks from people taking up and down luggage and some other marks in not expected places.The Bathroom was nice and my wife loves the turret style. Although I have given some negative comments, they are just minor points that we observed. Overall we loved our stay The main building, including the bar and restaurant was to high standard. And we have already started planning to stay again in the summer. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

Minor - Will need a spruce up. I.e paint here and there. Carpets had some dirt marks.

Liked the mini bar facility in the room and very good to have a bath and additional shower. Many hotels just have shower option so being able to have a bath was a big plus. Great WiFi and easy to log on to hotel network as a guest. No password necessary makes for a quick and easy internet access.

Paint style within room - I’d have stopped the blue colour scheme at the dado rail rather than continuing down the wall onto brown/grey but theme worked well. Nice style to the room . Disappointing that restaurant attached stopped or closed at 7:45 pm - we arrived at 8pm - hungry and tired. No chance of room service or sandwiches being sent up to room.

Interesting decorations and querky features...it made the experience much more fun than one would expect from a standard Premier Inn

Noisey fan in bathroom needed attention. Socket to left of window made a strange sound when running the hair dryer and then power ceased to both that socket and the socket controlling the kettle abd coffee machine...presumably a fuse had blown...I let the reception staff know when I was leaving. A blind was looking strangely tangled between the secondary glazing and the outside window.. Apart from that I enjoyed the way that room had been decorated and equipped. The Shower was impressively good.

The room decor was of exemplary standards. An old fashioned yet minimalist vibe, kudos to the people who have designed it - I instantly felt at home! A comfy bed, the room has ample storage space as a good size, plenty of plug sockets, good lighting for getting ready to go out, and my favourite part was the sofa, a luxury as compared to some hotels there is only a chair or even nothing asides from the bed. The bathroom was particularly georgeous too.

The fact that my partner didn’t want to to try the breakfast! I wanted to but unfortunately he had to make his way back home. We’ll have to come back and try it :)

Comfortable, inviting, and cozy place for some rest on my busy business travels. Best bath in my life! I am not a bath person, but the bathtub and atmosphere was perfect for it. Restaurant was lovely. What a nice place to spend my last night in the UK on a 3 week business trip!

I felt a little lost on arrival as nobody was there (they were in the restaurant) and I wasn't certain where to go. Once they were there - they were friendly and all was well. When that is the only thing you don't like - you are in good hands.
