The room was well equipped with everything you could need. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Clean/spotless. Easy walking into town.

Ignore instructions on their site for parking. We went round and round until we gave up looking for their adjacent site? Just Park at the Railway Station !! Cheap and not far to walk to the hotel. Could have done with some Tourist information leaflets. Make sure you know where you plan to go before coming.

The location was perfect for my needs, a one night stop on a long train journey. It’s also near Nottingham Castle, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem (a very old pub built into a cave system), and the Old Market Square, etc. I walked alone to and from the hotel from the train station, along Station Street at about 8:00 pm and then back again at about 8:00 am and felt safe. It was early September and not dark. Station street had businesses on one side and the train station on the other. There was some foot traffic and a few cars both in the evening and the morning. When you turn off Station Street, just before the main road, to approach the entrance to the hotel, you’re in an area that’s overlooked by residential apartments. If I’m remembering correctly, the entrance to the hotel is about 100 paces from the street and well marked. The hotel is very stylish and spacious. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and efficient in every aspect from reception to the restaurant. The systems and logistics were impressive. The breakfast had plenty of options from the hearty English breakfast staples to gluten free and yogurt/muesli options. The seating was comfortable and allowed plenty of space. The room didn’t feel cramped and there was an office type chair as well as another small but comfortable chair. The bed was very comfortable. All in all, a well-designed, attractive and functional hotel. My favorite aspect was that all the staff were both naturally pleasant and knew their jobs.

The shower didn’t have a spray/wand attachment. All showers should have spray attachments. It’s much more logical for cleaning your body and the facility itself. If there isn’t one, I know the place isn’t really clean.

I do recommend this hotel 100% No matter where you are travelling from, location point of view is situated perfectly 👌 Train Station is only 5 min walk. The bus station is close by too. If you are travelling from Eadt Midlands Airport, there is a bus that stops by the train station colled Sky Link, I think, and it's very close to the hotel. The city centre is 5-8min walk. Canal walk is just in a second from the main hotel entrance. The hotel is new and clean, breakfast is repetitive, however everything was tasty 😋 The reception area is spacious and cosy. Beds were comfortable. There are no issues for me at all. If I will ever return to Nottingham, I will stay there again.

Hotel was beautiful, rooms lovely and comfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a hotel. Everything was fresh with amazing choices! Great location and price. I would definitely book this hotel if I was to stay in Nottingham again! When we checked in 20/08 at approximately 13:30, the male on the reception was very welcoming and lovely. Unfortunately I did not catch his name. You can tell he is a people person and this set the tone for the rest of our stay. Nothing was too much to ask; he welcomed us and engaged in friendly chit chat, and he went above and beyond in assisting us.

Shower was very weak and the hotel would benefit for closer parking. Female who was working in Costa Coffee on 21/08 was miserable and lacked customer service skills.

Excellent customer service from Libby at the front desk, and I was glad to be able to check in early and have a room with a bath tub. The hotel looks nice inside, and the lobby is welcoming. I appreciated the free coffee vouchers, and the room was pleasant.

The room was a bit small and the TV was in such a position that it could not be viewed from the bed or chairs. The location of the hotel meant a lot of traffic noise. Three of us were queuing for quite some time for service at an unattended bar. The staff member left as soon as she had served us, so a fourth lady then had to wait too.

Our room was a very good size - I think it was an accessible room so had room for wheelchair etc. Very light - on a corner so had large windows. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent - very good value and lots of choice. The staff were constantly replenishing food and tidying plates etc.

In our room, the TV was very small for the size of the room and quite a way from where the bed was placed. If you were staying longer, you could do with more drawers. My husband went to a concert so I thought I would treat myself to room service, after a couple of unanswered calls I gave up and got something from the Tesco Metro down the road. Good reception but very dark.

The moment we walked in the hotel, we were welcomed and looked after. Easy check-in and checkout. The room was amazing; on the 11th floor with a beautiful view. Very clean and comfortable. The bar was nice to relax and have a drink, and some food. The breakfast was very good...catering hot cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, toast, pastries, cereal, porridge and coffee machine. The care package and service from Priscilla was a lovely surprise and very welcomed. Robin checked us in and assisted us throughout our stay when needed. We had a great stay at the hotel and would stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff, particularly Ivy who checked me in. She had a more authentic (yet still professional) demeanour than I sometimes encounter with hospitality staff. Most of the staff members who I encountered were friendly, which I appreciated. I also liked the superior room as well the facilities downstairs in the reception areas which were very conducive to a relaxing stay, and I was very happy with the location; an easy walk from the train station and walk-able to sights and shops.

The smell in my room! It was full of parfume spray which is sometimes used (for reasons I don't fully understand) in hotel rooms. It just makes me wonder if the room is not as clean as it could be, and I find it both unpleasant and utterly unnecessary. I had to open the window and leave for a few hours, but my lungs still reacted upon my return. Also, I was not impressed with the mattress which seemed old to me - squeaked a lot (squeaky springs?), and simply was not very comfortable to me. Maybe I will have a better mattress in a different room when I return, which I plan to do.

The property is exceptionally clean throughout. The staff on the front desk are welcoming and friendly. Especially the lovely lady called Libby! She remembered it was my birthday from an email I sent and gave me and my husband a complimentary breakfast and a free coffee in the bar. Which made it feel very special 😁. We ordered food to the room which took no time at all to arrive ,and was lovely. It’s in a great location right next to the train station and just a little walk into the city centre itself. We stayed on a Thursday and the price was amazingly cheap too.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful. They seemed proud to work for the company which I think is great. The location of the hotel is excellent for Nottingham railway station - no taxi needed - it is less than five minutes down the road. The hotel is also beside the canal and restoration work has taken place which makes it an attractive place to visit. There were treats in the room which added a very nice touch.

As personal preference I like separate shampoo and conditioner, but some body lotion would have been good. I also think it would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room.
