The room was tastefully decorated and planned, clean, plenty of storage too. The bathroom was a joy (I loved the toiletries, the shower was wonderful and the heated mirror was a delight). The breakfast was exceptional - we all had a cooked breakfast - seriously amazing! We only had a short visit, so we didn't have time to use other facilities, but everywhere looked nice. Easy parking, too.

The duvet was a bit too warm - I kept waking up and having to move the duvet off/on. Hanging the hair dryer (in a bag) off the top of the ironing board inside the wardrobe was a bit weird, and hard to find unless you read the guest information book. Trying to find which switch turned on which lamp was a bit of a faff.

Large (executive) room had a lovely view directly onto the golf course and had a balcony. The food at Roosters Bar was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful in the hotel and restaurant.

Minor niggles in the room. USB ports didn't work and the bath plug got stuck in when I had a bath. Considering what the room cost, I expected everything to work. And also no fridge! Which apparently is only available in the even more upgraded rooms.

Lovely, clean room in a beautiful place! Staff were fab, we stayed following a work Xmas party do and Matt on reception was great. Breakfast staff also very attentive. Nice touch with the personalised note in thw room when you arrive. Beautiful festive feeling too, every building and the grounds are made to look lovely

Choice of late night sandwiches/room service could be better; especially with parties and Xmas do's going on. Breakfast was nice but as a personal choice, we weren't keen on the sautéed potatoes.

Lovely location with our room terrace overlooking the golf course. Our room was large and well appointed, maybe a bit too much desk furniture in the room. All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful. Drinks in the bar were reasonably priced for a hotel.

Breakfast for one of us wasn’t great, I would have expected better for the prices charged, my bacon was dried up and virtually inedible. The other breakfast of poached eggs and smoked salmon was very good with perfect eggs and a decent amount of salmon

We received such a warm welcome and our room was beautiful, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, absolutely immaculate and stunning grounds!

We had 2 drinks charged to our room which was not by us, the charge was removed but surely a signature or room card should have been given to do this as it made me feel like we were just getting out of paying for something.

The breakfast was excellent, reasonable choice with good quality produce. The suite I had was above my expectations, over and above what I expected when I booked. The staff were friendly and approachable. Willing to engage with guests.

The generous room facilities were great and wonderful to have a bath and shower with lots of high pressure hot water. The room was incredibly comfortable with wonderful views over the golf course. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was brilliant with great food and very attentive waiting staff. Breakfast in the morning was also wonderful using great quality produce. We'll definitely be back over the coming months and years.

The only possible thing we would want to improve is the privacy on the balcony with some sort of screen so you can sit out and enjoy the view without overlooking your neighbours.

Lovely hotel, fantastic room with Molton Brown toiletries. Full drinks tray Comfy bed Netflix a little bonus Roosters restaurant is absolutely delicious, and excellent staff. Breakfast was cooked to order 😋 We will definitely return. Thank you . Xx

Property was lovely - but booking.com themselves need to ensure the postcode is updated on your website as you have advertised the wrong postcode for satnavs and I was going round in circles
