Room was comfy. A little small but I expected this. Plenty of room for just me. Tv was good and facilities were good. Iron, ironing board, kettle etc all good. Breakfast was okay. I was asked to have a late breakfast due to a large coach party arriving but was able to have breakfast when I needed it as the staff helped me.

Bathroom light was flickering quite a lot. Smell of someone smoking weed throughout the corridors to my room. Towels felt as though they could do with being replaced. I’m sure I read there was some form of AC in the room but there was a large radiator on the wall with no air con cooling. Car park is a bit tight with angled spaces and entrance appeared to be through a retail car park.

We have stayed three nights after our wedding 💒 reception. They stay was fabulous. It was very clean and tidy. The colleagues at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Mr Paul Parker was a star (actually 100 💯star💫 ) and went out of his way for us. He’s a great chap, so professional. we’re privileged and honored to be welcomed by him. The breakfast was so delicious. We will definitely come back again. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful 3 night stay Saturday to Tuesday, from I walked into the hotel from check in to check out, the most relaxed stay in the UK in a long time, so glad I found you, looking to making this my retreat home from home. I needed this break I stayed in the king suite. I'm unfortunately going though a little blip with my health right now, so just needed time out from the everyday noise. It was just what the doctor ordered, all the staff were so very respectful, real down to earth helpful, warm, welcoming and so polite !!!! Keep up the good work, so glad, proud and grateful you're on my doorstep making Oldbury proud !!! Absolutely lovely hotel, as I explained to the receptionist at the front desk I stayed here when it was the Travellers Inn back in 2012 and it was so outdated and needed a complete refurbishment. Wow was I blown away! The hotel room was so lovely, it's probably one of the best hotel stays I've had in a long time, it reminded me of a hotel I stayed in recently in Cheltenham so lovely, warm, and overall a well deserved rest, it was very clean also and it blew my expectations away. I love the fact that you can check out at 12pm! I wished more hotels offered this incentive, instead you have to pay extra if you want a later check out.

The only gripe I had was the room I was given was situated at the back of the car park that is adjacent to Tim Hortons, McDonalds and B&M, I was looking for an early night but I couldn't get one as there was loud music blasting out, fireworks going off and I managed to dose off at 12am way past my scheduled bedtime, nonetheless I made up for it as I had a good, quality rest.

The staff! They were so friendly and accommodating..especially Paul and Jack. Well done boys. Clean and comfortable rooms. Just be aware the lighting is on trip (just) in the passageways, so seems a bit dingy BUT we totally appreciate the effort towards being green. You get used to it. Thank-you Ibis Styles

Breakfast was just warm, so by the time we got to our table and settled ourselves it was bordering on cold. Such a shame because the food was lovely. Hated the cheap cutlery, especially the forks. Very uncomfortable and I have small hands, it must be very difficult for men to use.

We came for church conference from the 18-21 at ibis Styles Birmingham Oldbury. The staff were very kind .it felt like nothing was too much for them,they served us with great hospitality and kindness. All staff were the same ,it felt like home. Very trustworthy too, my sister Patience Chipaumire forgot her mobile in the room and they called me several times to inform me that they found the phone and kept is safely at reception. We booked again 9-11 of September as we have another conference so that we can relive the experience. The room was cleaned daily, great breakfast. I'm on diet and they provided lemon water with ice daily without complaining. I highly recommend this place again and again

Staff are very friendly and helpful in supporting your stay at the hotel. Location is ideal, very close to the M4. Retail park very handy. Breakfast has a wide selection. Access to gym good opportunity to exercise. The room was a good size.

The room needed to be aired prior to arrival. The temperature of the cooked breakfast could be increased, and it was a little under temperature.

Excellent location for my visit to family and friends. Good facilities with onsite bar, restaurant and gym if needed and free parking; Although this has been limited by AA vans also using the car park overnight, so if arriving late it may be an issue. Would definitely book again if visiting family and friends.

Traffic noise can sometimes be an issue, being on a main road and right by the motorway; however not much of a problem for me

1. Room was small for a double room 2. The room door was pretty tight. I couldn't get through with my pushchair as I had luggage on. I would have to squeeze myself in and out the room with the pushcair 3. Cleaners hair on the bed/ inside the bed sheets in the duvet cover on the pillow case 4. An Eyelash on areas of the bed from when the cleaner had changed the sheets. 5. There was urine and toilet paper in the toilet when I checked in and arrived in my room 6. The floor could have been mopped better as their was still things on the floor

Staff very friendly and welcoming

In the room there needs to b more attention to the details as the celles in the shower were dirty and not nice to look at. The shower door needs fixing as almost falling off the rail and when the painting has been done it's not been finished off nicely it's been left. The rooms need a revamp expressly in the bathrooms as I've stayed a good few times and the same things let it down
