The spa was lovely and the outdoor hot tub was really good we stayed in here a while and had a few drinks. The restaurant was lovely over looking the lake. The real fire was good

The log cabins are deceiving we thought the whole cabin was yours but they are split into 3 so when our next door neighbours decided to come home in the early hours and talk very loudly until 4 am we could hear every word and it woke us up.

Pool and jacuzzi use in the evening. Relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. Comfortable bed. Convenient distance to Leeds/Bradford airport. Lounge area near bar with armchairs. Plenty of parking. Country setting.

We really liked the room. The room was spacious with plenty of storage space and a great shower. It was really clean and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast wasn't up to expectations. The coffee wasn't very good at all, weak and not a great taste. The vegetarian breakfast on the Sunday was poor. The mushrooms were overcooked and dry. The hotel's link to a local taxi firm should be changed because the firm used were unreliable for us (10 minutes turned to almost 60)and this unreliability was apparently a standing joke. Also I think a regular feature of great hotels is to have a decent coffee maker in the rooms.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast waiters were amazing! On arrival we were given a map to find our cabin in the woods which were all very good labelled. The cabin we stayed in was spacious and lovely room had everything we needed. Bar was lovely and could take drinks back to our room. It was quiet at night and was lovely watching the deer, squirrels & ducks running around.

We had cleaners knock on our door every morning, which is lovely asking if we needed anything fresh, I had asked if during our week stay we could have our bed linen changed but that never happened and I did ask a couple times. The restaurant was lovely, however due to the price we weren’t able to eat there every night £96 for 2 mains & 2 puddings! The pool, steam room, sauna & outdoor jacuzzi was lovely, however the women’s changing rooms had used towels, robes and slippers just left all on the floor and the indoor jacuzzi wasn’t working properly so didn’t get to use it. In our cabin our shower didn’t work properly, after speaking to someone at reception twice they said they would get it looked at but never did so we just used the showers over in the pool room.

Set in a pretty location close to Otley centre. Myself and a friend stayed for 1 night to attend an on site event watching our friend pyschic medium.. We stayed in the hotel instead of the lodge / cabins.. Our room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The room was well equipped with coffee / tea making facilities including biscuits.. Towels and hairdryer were also provided . We paid a reasonable price which also included our breakfast which was plentiful and very nice.. We found the staff to be very friendly during our stay. We took advantage of the Swimming and Jacuzzi facilities included during our stay.. ( which was a nice surprise, glad we popped our swimming stuff in our cases just in case ! ) Glad we arrived early as it wasn't easy to find a parking space... This could have been due to the fact of a Wedding taking place..🤔 We would definitely recommend the Chevin Hotel and would not hesitate to stay again if we were in the Otley area.

I loved the location and the hotel look, I first upgraded to a suite and it was lovely very clean and well decorated. I then stayed in a standard room and that was also well decorated and very clean. I loved the spa and pool areas and the staff were all very nice and helped with my stay

In my standard room my mattress was incredibly uneven and lumpy and the same with my pillows. I didn’t have a very comfortable night stay. I was sadden to be told the roast dinner on a Sunday stopped at a certain time so I couldn’t have it for my afternoon meal. The spa and pool and hot tubs were lovely but I do feel that the floor around the pool and around the outside hot tub area needs to be cleaned more often. The floor was quite dirty and I was using the facilities from 5pm until 7:30 x I do love that you can order drinks from the spa and the staff deliver the drinks to you wherever you are in the spa but I’d make sure that empty cups are taken, as some guests would leave them around

Tia who works on the bar is an amazing cocktail maker she was lovely to talk to&she had a laugh with us she is an asset to the hotel&she could train the other bar staff to make cocktails properly the venue itself was lovely our room was clean&tidy&the bed was comfy I have a nut allergy&we got our breakfast brought to our room&it was a nice breakfast the facilities were amazing would recommend it to anyone&would stay there again.

We were at my cousins wedding&the food wasn't that good I got 2 sausages& they were undercooked the menu said there was apple crumble for desert&it wasnt apple crumble so false advertising there.

The rooms was lovely and the staff amazing friendly especially Judith the bar lady . Very lovely views

Only a short menu so could do with more options. Maybe little bites like sandwiches or little platters with nibbles on like chicken etc. The fact you pay 15.00 for breakfast it's the only hotel that you have to pay extra for an upgraded menu around an extra 6.00 so making a breakfast an expensive £22.00 . I've had eggs benedict or egg Royale at other hotels with no extra charge . So maybe this needs looking at. I don't think it will work and doubt they'll sell many at the extra prices.

Spa was lovely and clean, steam room was broken which was a shame but we enjoyed the rest of the spa facilities regardless. Breakfast had a good choice of hot & cold Woodland cabin was lovely and cosy, there were some half eaten biscuits and a half drank glass of pop left in fridge which must not have been checked when cleaning, there was also faeces stains down and on the toilet seat - other than that no complaints.

Rooms should be checked a little more thorough before new guests check in

Loved the location and it was such a novelty all the little cabins around a road around the sight. It has all the basics the tea and coffee making facilities had a really good selection and some nice biscuits. It’s was cute and cozy. The duvet was to die for some reason. We had a small decked area with some seats we took some blankets and fairy lights and had the best time as it was so quiet and the sky was so clear so was great for star seeing.

Nothing much for what it is it is excellent.
