This stay was exceptional value for money and 5 minutes away from my appointment the following day. The staff were friendly and welcoming with one lady pretty much looking after everything. My evening meal was very enjoyable as was breakfast the following morning. My room was a good size, clean and comfortable with plenty of electricity sockets and good WiFi reception. I loved all the railway memorabilia in the main reception, bar and restaurant area and the place had a real family feel to it.

For the value for money, there was very little to be critical about. I noticed the radiator didn't appear to work but then the heat from the one in the main bedroom soon filtered through.

Very friendly staff and a convenient location. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, good shower and plenty of power outlets for charging tech - amazing how many places still don't have that. Breakfast was excellent with a very handy tick sheet so that you could select what you want and the staff cook it for you, very promptly. Perfect for a business traveller and great value for money.

Bear in mind if you are a light sleeper that it is next to a railway (clue is in the name!), so passing trains shake the room. TV was a bit basic but otherwise this place is great.

People were warm and friendly. Room was spotless. The breakfast was great and the suppers we had there were large and tasty. We were accommodated in all questions we had and with the greatest of care. We were total strangers from another country Canadians who were treated like royalty.

The first impression when we seen the outside of the building was it could use some loving care. We were surprised when we stepped inside and found such a spotless place. The train ran by was a bit noisy but that's England.

The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and piping hot and the coffee was great. Given the proximity to the train lines they were barely heard (more felt) in my room. The room was clean and well presented and the water pressure in the shower was great.

The only negative, if you call it that, was the tv in the room was very small and the towels provided were a little small (hardly fit round me)

Excellent accommodation in the Oxford area. Great if you are a train spotter with the busy Didcot to Oxford main line running right past the hotel. Excellent restaurant and bar, and the breakfast was fantastic. Area is very quiet and even when the pub is running late at night it is not at all disruptive.

A small refrigerator and microwave would really finish off this family room. There was a user manual for one in a drawer, but no fridge to be seen. Restaurant although being advertised as open until 7:30pm stops taking orders at 7pm which caught us out on our first night there. Be careful driving through the local town of Abingdon. It is a one way rabbit warren and a nightmare to navigate.

Unpretentious, lovely combination of a local pub with ordinary but very good pub grub and a very comfortable room, wonderfully friendly staff, and fantastic location 30 seconds from the railway station

Did not realise until the second day that they had excellent real ale in the other bar from the one I went to on the first day - but probably my own fault!

The beds were very comfortable and the room was big enough for a short stay. Our location in the building meant that the trains, which ran adjacent to the property did not disturb us too much. It is a busy line, and gave us the option of travelling by train into Oxford if we had wished. We were aware of the 'Inn's' location before booking.

The bathroom was a bit small. The Inn is a bit 'out of the way' and the restaurant is not open every evening.

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The beds are very comfortable and good quality soft clean fresh bedding. Lovely and clean. Maybe little dated but the reason we choose this place for our visit to Oxford it was the perfect location with all of our needs met. Having the station on the door step gave the option of travel. The area is very peaceful ( train noise occasionally but very brief) friendly neighbourhood.

Nothing

A really nice location next to a quaint village Railway Station. The hospitatlity from Pauline was excellent and mades us feel very welcome, excellent evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Outside of the village of Culham, so you'll need some form of transport but the setting was nice, a local pub and restaurant with accommodation, highly recommended if you want a quiet and friendly stay over.

Nothing, all good.

The room was very clean and quite spacious and all facilities were perfectively satisfactory. All staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the food was excellent and extremely well presented. Outside were two attractive seating areas where we could sit and relax over a drink in the evening and although the trains going by were very close they did not present any problem or cause a nuisance or disturb our sleep.

Nothing. ( For some reason our in-car sat nav would not accept the inn's postcode but once we arrived in Culham we located the station quite easily although it is some way from the actual village. )
