Room was perfect and beautifully decorated. Amazing shower that I didn't want to get out of. Slept like a log. Beautiful evening walk down to the beach followed by a quick trip to the chain ferry the next morning. We really enjoyed the outside seating area for evening drinks. Heating and blankets provided and plenty of choice of seating. Amazing facilities provided within the room. Great tea and coffee selection....We also enjoyed raiding the mini bar. Breakfast in bed was top notch *thumbs up*
The only thing...we dropped something under the bed and realised that it was quite dirty/dusty under there! If we hadn't had dropped anything then we would never have known.

This is a Pub (a lovely pub) with a hotel on top of it. The location is great for wandering around the beach and walking the coastal path. Lots of good things about this place. Breakfast is really good The room is great (could do with a bit more of a dust - but nothing drastic) The bed the shower the comfy chairs it's a lovely spot and a great place. Also its a very good pub, staff are helpful friendly and generate a nice atmosphere
Just a couple of minor things, There is a mirror in the bathroom that is metal, its rusty and hangs off the wall at an angle its poor quality for a quality room. We had dinner one night, batter on the fish was solid and steak (albeit Bravetta) was really tough.

Communication was perfect. The setting is stunning, and the decor is excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Very quiet and calm.
Water damage on the wall and ceiling in room. Exterior emergency lights for fire exit shone a harsh white light constantly and directly into the windows of the room, curtains did not fully block these out. Perhaps blinds would better block this. The night entrance was quite dark and uninviting, perhaps some of the decor from the pub could be repeated into this area?

The attention to detail in our room was superb and the mini bar and snack offering very good. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom amenities lovely. I would definitely stay again.
The restaurant staff were curt. The main restaurant area was dirty and the breakfast buffet looked uninspiring. Breakfast service often seems like an afterthought in hotels / guest houses yet it should be the main event of the day and certainly something both good to look at and delicious. After reading the hotel groups focus on supporting local suppliers and quality ingredients in their newsletter called The Fold, I was unimpressed.

The room was lovely and the bed very comfy. I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was very good. It was nice to get parking onsite for free.
The key card didnt work on returning to the hotel after the wedding. We had to enter via the back door and only 1 of the 3 room cards we had worked. I couldnt get into my room so had to call the onsite manager. She came down and sorted it but it wasnt a good ending to the day.

We stayed here overnight while waiting to catch the ferry the following morning, and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. The room was beautifully decorated and every little detail had been thought of, from a wide range of products in the bathroom to some specially made brownies in the fridge (gluten free for me!). We did have a chance to catch dinner in the bar/restaurant that evening and enjoyed a wonderful roast. When we told staff that we had to leave at the crack of dawn the next day they offered to put together a little breakfast for us the night before so that we wouldn’t go hungry. We will definitely stay here again!
Nothing!

The bedroom was very comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and quiet. We liked the bathroom, mattress and bedding, lighting, plentiful electric sockets, comfy armchairs, air conditioning, fridge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for the beach, park and shops (great deli). Food was nice. Garden seating was great for a sunny day and even a rainy day in the covered areas.

The room and hotel were beautifully decorated and facilities, location were great. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice.
There was a buzzing noise every 4-5 mins throughout the night which kept my husband and I awake. We couldn't work out where the noise was coming from which was very frustrating ! Also, i think breakfast or at least the option of a continental breakfast should have been included in the price!

Personal experience. Very spacious room and nice facilities. Bath and bathroom were great. Room was well designed and extremely comfortable. Food was good.
To be very picky, the bedding wasn’t hypoallergenic, or didn’t seem to be - I normally don’t notice this at all even at home, but my nose and throat were irritated all night. Drinks at bar were a little overpriced, about £24 for two double shots.

Everything was absolutely gorgeous, the room was super luxurious and it was a real treat
The bar and restaurant were seriously understaffed on Saturday evening. The 2 staff that seemed to be running everything were working incredibly hard and I felt sorry for them. There were long waits for service. The hotel needs to employ more staff in busy periods
