I thought the quality of furniture (beds, tables, wardrobes etc) were excellent. I also liked the quality of the bathroom and the modern shower.

I found the Service in the Restaurant poor. For example, whilst waiting for my cooked breakfast I asked for a 2nd cup of coffee and had to remind the waitress a 2nd time that I hadn't received it. The reply I received was "we are very busy" However, she had spent the entire time (5 mins. plus) clearing another table. I had a similar delay when asking for more toast for the table. I also found the bar under-Staffed, with a long line to order drinks. Given the high quality of the fabric of the hotel and the v. high prices to stay at this hotel, the Service aspect was both unexpected and a disappointment.

Exceptional staff especially manager at breakfast Mr Fol location was excellent and lovely room with a lovely harbour view Enjoyed afternoon tea and meal in amalfi restaurant parking was good had two disabled spaces all facilities were very clean

Not so keen on the Chinese ocean palace restaurant long wait to get served and not busy however food was good Would have nice to be served with drinks rath We than going to the bar Unfortunately some people insist on parking in disabled spaces when not eligible Generally excellent stay continue the good work nd hope to be back

The location of the hotel was perfect, with the best views over sandbanks, very relaxing, lots of inside and outside seating and comfortable Breakfast was perfect, and large you will not be hungry for the day and very well organised staff The room was spacious

For the price of the room, I thought areas were a bit tired. The furniture was marked stained Cobwebs in the bathroom, grouting on some tiles, was missing and bit mouldy in places Shower curtains not a fan off as I'm not sure if they changed after every visit

the hotel was in a great location with fantastic views. The staff were very friendly snd made us feel welcome, it was easy to get a drink/snack etc and the restaurants within the hotel were exceptional. Breakfast was also fabulous and cooked fresh with plenty of options. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

The bedroom was very nice with great views, however, it could do with a bit of a decoration in places. the shower was difficult to operate and I would have preferred an actual shower rather than a shower in the bath tub.

We booked a sea view room and were not disappointed with the view. It was spectacular. The room itself was comfortable and clean and well equipped. We would also like to make a special mention about one particular member of staff who made our stay memorable. Her name is Monika and there was nothing that was too much trouble. She was always smiling and it was a pleasure to be served breakfast by her.

The £10 per night car parking fee, which was not made clear when booking online and we understand only applies to bookings not made directly with the hotel. However after a discussion about how poor the web advice was and how we felt about the principle, the hotel agreed to drop the charge. Our room and was beginning to look a little tired.

Location was great, staff were very helpful (let me check in early which was a godsend as I was going to my sisters wedding) room was a good size & shower facilities great.

The floorboards creaked throughout the room, but I could cope with that. I stayed 1 night in room 300, I don't know if it was very windy outside which caused the noise throughout the night that sounded like a wobble board on & off, maybe the wind was getting under some boards somewhere but it wasn't a quiet night

Very, very comfortable bed. Lovely view of the sea. Spacious room. Extra touches e.g. bathroom toiletries, trouser press amongst other things. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast selection of bread and rolls poor., and not replenished when croissants ran out. Whilst reception desk efficiently enquired and noted that I am allergic to tomatoes when taking bookings for Chinese restaurant and passed it on to the kitchen, this was not noted by the kitchen. Served a chicken dish which contained tomato and they only realised error when I had already started eating the food. Manageress very apologetic but of course this should not have happened. It was replaced by another dish but by then my meal was spoilt, and I was feeling uncomfortable. Not sufficient attention to my allergy.

Receptionists welcoming and very helpful. We had an amazing sea view from our room. We ate in the Chinese Restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast on both days was very nice. We were attending a wedding nearby so for us it was in a perfect spot enabling us to walk to the venue. You can also walk to the beach although footpath might be a little steep for anyone with walking difficulties.

No negatives for us.

Location, location, location. Prime elevated view over Poole harbour which explains high cost of accommodation. Excellent outside tiered terrace to enhance premier view. Excellent room with harbour view at extra cost. Free car park

Restaurant food was average. Outside furniture was left uncovered during rain which restricted use thereafter thus ruling out use of the outside terraces

great view - lovely sun trap on the terrace overlooking the bay - really special.

small point but in the low season the Italian restaurant is also the Chinese - you know what you are having by the colour of the tablecloth!! Head Waiter -“that is nothing to do with me - I will get the person running the Chinese bit!!” have to walk to the bar to order from the terrace- why can’t someone take my drinks order and carry out?
