Second time to stay here, clean, modern, comfortable hotel. Definitely need transport due to location but it suited our needs as there was plenty of parking and quiet. Didn't use the gym this time but did last time & it was good enough. Staff are friendly if a bit understaffed at times. Overall I'd recommend it if you are not bothered staying outside Sheffield city centre. I would stay here again.

The main let down with this hotel is the restaurant, breakfast hot food is not hot, although plenty of choice. Dinner menu choice is good but portions are small, I don't normally get dessert but do here. Also the quality is just average. I've tried most things on it, between my two stays & I'm normally not a burger person but I think it's the best choice. Mash potatoes are really not good.

The staff went over and beyond my expectations, they allowed me to check in early an hour which allowed me to finish getting ready and booked me a taxi to a wedding that I was going to. So helpful! Note, this is subject to availability! The hotel has clean, modern and good parking. It was easy to find and travel to/from the wedding by car/taxi. Breakfast was varied with lots of options (hot & cold, different drink options) and didn't need to book, which was useful. My room was clean, comfortable and had a really good nights sleep.

Initially, I wasn't sure if I could check in early but if I hadn't of been able to, it would have been good to have a room/place to get refresh or get changed before check-in time (3pm), and secure lockers to put belongings if needed. I wasn't comfortable with leaving my possessions behind the check-in desk.

Room spacious and air con especially as so warm. Breakfast was lovely and good value for current prices comparable. Bed comfortable. Rooms next to each other as requested. Plenty of towels and hanging space in wardrobe. Pleasant decor and nice bar area. Staff lovely and helpful. Free parking available as a bonus. Clean and welcoming all areas.

Removed the spider on the side of the window as phobia. Grout from floor tiles in bathroom missing in patches - ? hygiene issue. Could do with one or two hooks on the wall to hang coats as had to put in wardrobe or on chair. Although two guests in room - one set of towels were put out and other set we had to go on a hunt for and found in wardrobe. If information telling us this we would not have had to ring reception requesting more only to find they were in the room but minor issues = did not ruin the stay!!

It was quiet , clean and comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning as it was hot during our stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The pillows were too hard! We were disappointed with the Saturday evening menu as my husband is coeliac and there was only a vegetarian curry available for him to eat. The previous evening he had enjoyed a steak and was looking forward to having another but it was not on the Saturday menu so we had to travel elsewhere for our evening meal! We were very sad as the previous evening’s meal was delicious.

Our son has severe autism, and when checking in the staff could not have been more helpful!! They made me feel much more at ease on my arrival! It was much appreciated!

The only thing was on my last morning the 27th of August the male receptionist charged us 17 pounds a head for breakfast. When on other mornings it was 12 pounds per head. Now, the whole reason for us not paying in advance is to be sure that our son is able to sit ok for breakfast. Other, than that I could not fault the hotel!

the room was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable also the shower was very good and it also was very clean the room was also nice and warm as the temperature had dropped

we booked bed and breakfast and we went to eat at 9am but although the choice was very good the cooked breakfast was rather well done. also in the room there was only 2 teabags i know that might sound a little petty but we both like a cup of tea that aside we did enjoy our stay and we will be staying again in a couple of weeks time

Rooms were comfortable. Staff in reception, bar and restaurant were very polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good and plentiful Had some evening meals in the restaurant which were value for money and the service was very good

Stayed 11 nights and there seemed to be no regular housekeeping in room, had to ask to get room serviced Advertised BT sports on tv which was not available Room safe not working and didn't get fixed, did not really effect stay and reception did offer hotel safe if needed.

Room was bright and airy. Bed was comfortable Staff were friendly, especially the night staff. Really liked the seating area outside The breakfast was delicious

Only 2 teabags in the room and 2 sugars. My husband and I both drink tea and both take sugar. Had to ask for more in reception. Should be a better supply for 2 guests. There was a large cobweb in our toilet and a stain on the carpet. Nowhere for us both to sit comfortably in the room as only one chair

Room was very comfortable, clean and smart-looking. Nice shower, clean modern bathroom, lovely hot water with great water pressure. Bed was really comfortable. Reception staff nice and friendly. I didn't use the restaurant or gym so can't comment. In room tea-making facilities fine.

The location was not great - my room overlooked a muddy container yard which wasn't exactly picturesque. However, I wasn't especially bothered by this as I wanted somewhere smart, comfortable and clean to stay, of good value, while visiting my son at uni.

modern hotel that is kept very well. Relaxing lobby with comfortable seating. Rooms are light and airy and very welcoming. The staff are very helpful and welcoming.

The gym is really small, pillows are hard and difficult to get comfortable . Parking charge even to guests, the area is safe but in a science park that is only going to get busier and possibly noisy at night.
