Noisy people in another room & very strong smell of weed coming it, but this wasn’t the owners fault Wouldn’t be suitable for disabled guests because of the metal staircase up to the rooms

The location and rooms facilities cannot be faulted .Extremely clean and comfortable rooms with all the basic one needs . on-site parking is free . The property overlooks a golf course and has a nice pub downstairs. It Would have been a fantastic stay if it was not for the heatwave . Definitely will book to stay again when in the area . Staff are very friendly.

Its unfortunate our trip was during the heatwave. The property has no air conditioning (we were aware at the time of booking ) No standing fans could be provided either . The room was stifling hot & we were in a room that overlooked a long term residents balcony so keeping the window open was not an option either on the first night as they were dining on their terrace . Dunelm was a short drive away and we bought a tower fan for the second night. Just our bad luck the Television didn’t work but the property has a good wifi connection.

I was was very well looked after, I liked how when they cleaned the room they refill all the biscuits and drinks, they also cleaned my own cutlery and bowl I left out in the room, the towels are really soft and the quality of the furniture are quite sturdy.

One of the bedside lamps makes a humming noise when turned on but other than that I can't really flaw it, it's next to a main road so you can hear cars go past but it didn't stop me from sleeping so it's not that bad

Staff was lovely, room was very clean and value for money. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to family and friends

Although the pub side closed at 11pm, there was access to the hotel rooms via a separate door, unfortunately I didn't like that the stairs leading to the room was actually outside but it wasn't a big issue, just my opinion

The beds here are very comfy and I had an excellent night's sleep. There is free wifi if you create an account and I did this last time I stayed so logged straight in. The shower was lovely, just the right power and no problem with the hot water. I had a drink on the two nights I was here from the pub and as always the staff are very friendly and chatty. Bottle of wine for just over £10 which is excellent value. The TV has Sky which has all the channels you need. Room was well stocked with tea and the second morning the lovely housekeeper knocked to see if I needed anything. Although my room looked out over the outside seating area and it was very hot on the May bank holiday weekend, I wasn't disturbed. This place overlooks a golf course and, for me, the setting is ideal and close to all my relatives addresses. Well worth a stay if you are in Rotherham.

Free on-site Parking, - Hot Shower at any time of day or night and once temperature set stayed constant. Comfy Bed - Good Location in relation to my Weekend Stay, as Cycling into Sheffield City Centre Saturday / Sunday. Did not use Pub facilities - so can't comment, but looked a welcoming environment -

No Breakfast Option - Building Alarm went off Saturday Night, not sure what time, as I was not back on-site until 01.40Hrs - By the time I got settled the Alarm had stopped, obviously if I had turned in at 23.00Hrs, then this would have affected Sleep.

Very friendly atmosphere, nice staff and very clean and comfortable room . We ate in the pub, the food was very good. The pub was accommodating of young children, we travelled to Sheffield for a cheerleading competition nearby and we had 3 lively girls who wanted to practice whilst we dined! We would definitely recommend and return.

I always try to stay here when I'm visiting family in Yorkshire. The price is reasonable and the location is great for me. The staff are lovely, the prices in the bar are very competitive and the food is delicious. There is always tea and milk in the rooms and they provide extra if you ask. There is a great selection of TV channels, the beds are very comfy and clean and although the pub is below, I have never had a problem with noise or getting to sleep. I'm staying here again in May and can't wait.

Clean and comfortable room. Staff very helpful and attentive. Dinner and drinks were very good value. Room quiet and parking plentiful. Enjoyed a friendly chat with the manager after our tasty dinner and the barman was very friendly and pleasant. Beer of good quality!

Nothing - the price was very reasonable and the whole experience represented very good value for money.

I have stayed here on previous occasions and have always been very satisfied. I was allowed to leave my bags in the room despite me being early. There was plenty of milk and tea. There's an iron and hairdryer in the room and 2 little bottles of body wash and shampoo which smelled lovely. I have never eaten here before but took the family out for dinner and the food is amazing! I would definitely recommend the restaurant. I had beef lasagne which was home cooked and taste absolutely delicious. My daughter had steak which was the best I have seen in a very long time in a restaurant. The kids had burgers which were not just a typical burger. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The pub is decorated for Christmas and looks beautiful. I stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night and although the pub was heaving when I went to my room I was not disturbed by noise. I'll definitely be returning here again.

The only thing I would like to see improved, and this is just because I have to write more in this box than I would have liked, is to improve the pillows but that is because I am a stickler for good pillows. However, I don't have multiple rooms in my house to buy for so it's not really an issue for me. Everything else about this place out shines the pillows!
