The breakfast was good, and everything was laid out and clean. The staff were really helpful, and very good with my two boys. Overall, it was very good, and right off the A55 in either direction made it perfect for travelling to and fro.

If I do have a gripe, please change the towels, and check bathroom facilities daily. I left the towels for changing, as requested, and it did not happen. There was a clean set in the room, which did us, but, play safe and do it peeps please. Especially family rooms with children. Children, as we know get dirty very easily. If you are going to supply the things needed, change them daily.

The staff were lovely, and so helpful. The location was great, just 10 mins to Rhyl beach and Rhuddlan Castle, and the cooked breakfast was super tasty! The kids also loved having the play area outside, and so did we. It meant we could sit and relax in the sun, whilst the kids blew off some steam before bedtime. We were in a large family room, with a seperate annex for the kids, which was great!

That we missed the roast dinner on the Sunday! Haha.... you guys definitely need to make more servings! Also, the rooms above the bar in the main building desperately need air con. The room was very hot and being on A55 alot of noise came from having the window open.

Room was comfy and relatively spacious, well maitained and serviced and had tea and coffee making facilities. We both enjoyed the cooked breakfast in the morning which set us up for the day, lounge\eating ares were very comfy and the tables were nicely spaced out so it didnt feel cramped or that our conversation was overheard and that we weren't disturbed by others. Staff were always very friendly, polite and professional

The only dowfalls with our stay was the restricted menu on the evening of our arrival and the constant traffic noise due to its lacation

Great location and lovely hotel & restaurant. Check in very easy and staff super friendly and informative. I checked in and booked a meal which was excellent. They keep a few tables free for guests just incase they want a meal on arrival. Food arrived very quickly and was excellent quality. Pie of the day was Chicken & mushroom & this was served with some of the best mash I’ve tasted for decades. The room was immaculate and clean. No need to use own soap/shampoo as all supplied. Bed was fantastic and had a great sleep. 10 out 10

I have no complaints whatsoever.

Cleanliness, the efficiency of staff and flexibility, allowing us to be a little late for our dinner booking. Cleaning up drinks we'd accidentally spilt in reception leaking out of a bag. Food in the restaurant was beautiful, very well cooked and seasoned. Our whole family left clean plates.

The temperature of the room was very warm as you can tell it's well insulated but the fan was too noisy to leave on. Air conditioning would have been better. The one time someone didn't come to check in on us at dinner that everything was okay, and I was missing the tomato salad that should have been served with the kebabs, but I ate my daughters who didn't want hers so it was no big deal.

we had room 107 which was ideal eventually, close to the restaurant as we were having a family meal. i phoned in the afternoon to advise it would be a late check in and asked for a easy access room, but on arrival we were given room 209(couldn’t have put us any further away) thanks to Declan (I think that’s his name) couldn’t have been any more helpful. think whoever I spoke to in the morning was having a bad day, but would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone and hopefully be back in the not too distant future. thanks to all your staff.

nothing beautiful hotel

Good firm bed, great shower with plenty of piping hot water, climate control in the room (only available in the lodge rooms, not in the main building), good sized TV with access to all the channels and viewing platforms we have at home. The main building with bar restaurant etc- spacious and nicely furnished with large windows to sit by while we are. Easy walking distance to centre of At Asaph with pubs, shops and Riverside walk. Good selection at breakfast. Better value than any other places in the area.

Breakfast wasn't included in the price. The property is very close to the flyover which can be a little noisy at night. But we've stayed twice so it's obviously not that big a problem. No fridge in room.

Lovely hotel, room was spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was quite firm which suited us very well. The food both at dinner and breakfast was very good and competitively priced. The staff we met were lovely and helpful. We would happily stay again.

Neither of us is that mobile so the stairs were a bit of a pain I should have asked for ground floor. The only thing that really let the place down was the horrible stickiness of the floor in the restaurant and the pub toilets. My feet kept sticking to the floor.

I loved how the hotel was decorated for Christmas and I really liked our spacious room. Breakfast was lovely.

We were not told until our arrival that we would not be able to have food in the restaurant due to Christmas parties. The manager on duty just said oh well I was told everyone had been told. The manager just didn't seem bothered. We did not receive any notification about this either by phone call or email. We were just advised to use just eat. When I asked if we could have food from the hotel kitchen in our room we where told no. The carpark was very slippery due to the weather conditions and was only gritted in parts. Not great for elderly guests and definitely not great for the gent crossing the car park.

Location was ideal for visiting family nearby, breakfast was ok, nothing special! Room could have done with a long duster above windows…spiderwebs but not affecting us. Had to ask for 2 keycard so we could have the lights on when other half went to the car instead of sitting in the dark!

Perhaps better options for breakfast times as travelling with a small child it’s hard to book a time! Heating in room had no instructions and the air conditioning was on making it chilly, resolved by cranking up the temperature, but would be easier to have instructions on how to set it!! Only other thing maybe, as we booked a family room perhaps a nightlight for room as an option but that’s only a thought
