customer service was fab, lovely people, polite, professional and personable, fantastic location, good food and drink selection- good value for money too!

only thing that could be improved would be the ensuite bathroom area- shower sealant broken down and the shower head itself is not very powerful and the shower tray filled up ever so quick, also there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room which came with biscuits but no tea or coffee was provided- maybe some sachets would be a nice idea but this aside it was very good value for money and staff were fab would highly recommend this place for anyone family/couple/individual etc

lovely hotel everyone was so welcoming and they stayed late to allow a check in

very beautiful hotel with a lovely pub and the most beautiful scenery around. I didn’t want to leave. This hotel bed was better than any premier inn or Hilton I’ve ever stayed in ( I have spinal problems) if it’s winter you won’t be gold as it’s so warm. big bath, hairdryer, just perfect !

Great sized room and quiet despite being above a pub. Very clean and comfortable. Iron and ironing board available upon request. Great breakfast, and excellent service whenever we needed something

Didn't realise didn't have to pay for parking - you don't as a guest but the signs were confusing. Shower in bathroom was very small despite the bathroom being big.

Staff were friendly and very helpful

Car parking. Not certain to get access to parking when coming back after going out. Lucky too get a parking space. Advertising says car parking available. When people are booking they should inform you that car parking is hit and miss. Parking is important especially when you are a blue badge holder as we are.

The room was excellent. Clean and fresh, as was the bathroom. Very comfortable bed and decent towels.

Wondered what the room was going to be like as we walked up the very stained stair carpet. Whilst the walls had been refreshed, the paintwork was chipped and tired on stairs and in the hallway, making the overall impression grubby, although it was clean. Opening the door to the wonderful bedroom was such a surprise.

We were surprised to pay full price for breakfast as we both had corn flakes & fruit juice and a pot of tea only.

An adjustment in in price of breakfast we feel would soften the impact .Most enjoyable stay & have sympathy with what we believe must be a very high heating bill and & hope your business comes through this awful time for everyone.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. The situation, near Sherborne Abbey, was perfect for us.

It is a pub and naturally there was evening activity, including a rock band on Saturday night, We didn't mind at all, and the noise died down after 11pm. But it wouldn't be good if you wanted an early night!
