Fantastic people to meet and greet you and helpfull was made to feel very welcome and was very happy but I'm afraid you get what you pay for the rooms was nice and tidy but sadly couple of the electric sockets didn't work due to pins being stuck in side the sockets did tell the manager and he would sort them out but not in the time we were there but if you looking for somewere just to get your head down it's a great place can not fault the welcome and service but very old dated and you get what you pay for I'm afraid but thank you so much tocsll the staff and would say to people try them as rooms were tidy and spacious

Could not use plug sockets foe lamps and alarm clocks or phone chargers

Ah, the premier hotel not premier inn. A fine addition to skegness indeed. Sure, it has many negative reviews but these are by people who expect far too much. You will not find many places in prime skegness location for such an affordable price. I’ll be honest, from the outside, it’s like walking along a council estate filled with all the folk from the Jeremy Kyle show. The building is far from attractive and could certainly do with a paint job and some rebranding. However, the rooms inside are surprisingly spacious and feature en-suites and wardrobes. The bed does the job but the mattress could do with replacing alongside the pillows. Many things are outdated such as the TV which I suspect was formed during the Big Bang. The hotel also features a relatively large, but very empty bar and dining space. This is run by the evening staff James or better looking Ed Sheeran as he is commonly referred to in Skeg vegas. Truly a breath of fresh air to the establishment, it shows how much impact a staff member can have on an establishment. He is very professional, competent and funny and even went as far to sing a song to us whilst serving us drinks. The management is lucky to have such an asset to the hotel. The hotel is in dire need of tender loving care, a lick of paint here and there, a good dust down, cigarette butts removed from outside, new kettles, TVs etc in the rooms. This is down to the owner, and if money and time was invested to redoing the rooms and creating a better atmosphere in the bar/dining area, the premier hotel not premier inn could surely be capable of thriving. There is a lot of potential in this hotel, and I hope to see it improve further but with my generosity and thanks to better looking Ed Sheeran aka James I will score it a 10/10. It is good value for money in a good location and certainly does the job.

toilet seat was wobbling needs new pillows and mattress needs new kettles bar needs to be restocked with alcohol and perhaps some music to get an evening atmosphere going cigarette butts outside should be picked up a better reception area as it’s just a small desk and feels like I’m walking into a dodgy estate agent

Property is a close walking distance to the town and transport facilities but far enough out that you don’t have the busy night life. Staff were absolutely amazing! They welcomed us and made us feel so comfortable. The builders were even polite and helpful! Definitely worth the money.

It’s not the fanciest hotel ever but if you wanted that it would be a lot more money so 10/10 what I expected for the money paid!

We had read bad reviews about the premier hotel but on arrival the staff were friendly and helpful the room was basic but clean, comfortable bed and had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good and filling, the black pudding was a bit overcooked but edible. Ample parking and within walking distance to the Train and bus station and Skegness. I think it's trying it's best to improve and while not perfect it was good for the price.

On arrival the car park does look a bit neglected and would put some off but you don't sleep in the car park. As said the room was basic but comfortable and the window could have done with a clean outside (quite a bit of pidgion muck) but as I've said I think they are trying to get things turned around so good luck to them
