It’s rustic charm, grounds outside inc pods. Bouncy castle for children. Beds were comfortable and I’m quite fussy.

It’s a bit tired and could do with an update. Only had one breakfast but the food was great when you got it. Staff were friendly but very disorganised. Received tea in coffee pot, tea and coffee in same teapot. Never received toast. Gave up asking. I think almost every table had issues. They had had a wedding the night before and think they needed more staff. Asked for price for same time next year and it was a 19% increase. This was our second year here but wont be coming back at that price.

All the staff were brilliant. We were very early and although unable to check in, we were able to leave our luggage with them whilst we went off for the afternoon. Family room with 2 very comfortable double beds was spacious for the 3 of us. Proper hair drier in room. Had the best fish & chips I have ever eaten, and at a cost of £8, was outstanding value.

Lamp above one of the beds was not well positioned, causing me to hit it with my head! No heated towel rail in bathroom. You need to be careful in the shower as water can go everywhere.. Restaurant wasn't open. We did however, manage to get superb food in the bar area. No lift in the building. WiFi signal was very poor in our room - room 6.

Lovely large room with a sofa, plus windows which opened to let in plenty of fresh air and overlooked the gardens and entrance to the hotel. The first members of staff we met were really friendly and helpful and everyone we met afterwards were too.

Minor things really, but had to ask for bath towels and a remote for the TV as we were hoping to see some of the Olympics. Staff were quick to respond and help though. Would have liked a selection of teas/coffee in the room (e.g. mint tea, earl grey...) Sometimes I do take my own, just in case, but didn't this time! Only other things were no safety/grab handles in bath and shower or tray for soap etc (being in our 70's/80's they do help!!) It was a lovely bathroom otherwise, very tasteful decor.

The location is lovely, so peaceful and with easy access to Skegness or Gibraltar Point nature reserve, all staff were friendly and helpful. The bar area is a great place for a drink after a day out and there is a good choice of food both snacks and main meals

Our room looked out over a yard where the bins were and was above the kitchen, because it was warm when we were there we had the window open so had the noise from the kitchen below and the view was not pleasant. We did have a basic room so possibly to be expected but we were disappointed by it but would not put us off staying here we will request a different room next time

Our room was huge , large bed plus sofa , and still plenty of space to swing that cat . We had a bath and shower , the shower was fantastic . Massive TV , plenty of hot drinks etc . 2 built in wardrobes . Well furnished , good carpet , thick blackout curtains and spotlessly clean . Mercifully there was also a large standing fan , very much needed as it was hot and sunny both days / nights we stayed . Only ate at the hotel once , an evening meal which was superb ( Port and Game Pie ) All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable , eager and willing to help or answer questions . Room was cleaned and fresh towels delivered .

Only slight issue was the mattress on the bed was past its sell by date - it could do with being changed for a new one ( room 1 ) as it was bouncy one side , solid the other .

Location. Just outside of the town centre but easily walkable. Nice bar and restaurant. Ample parking. Rooms were lovely. Gardens and outside seating areas including heated pods. Helpful staff.

Stopped serving food at 5pm on a Sunday. Having arrived and spent the day in the town centre we intended to return to the Vine for an evening meal and drinks before retiring to our room. However, food is not served after 5pm on a Sunday. We have stayed at the Vine numerous times and always eaten here during the evening but this option is no longer available on a Sunday. This was disappointing but we did find a nice Italian restaurant close by. Menu has been reduced (including pizza selection) from when we previously stayed. Toilet didn’t flush properly (only stayed one night so didn’t like to complain).

Amy was a lovely lady, she greeted us on our arrival. And was very welcoming during this festive season! Jo and John and another chap behind the bar made our beverages and did a splendid job indeed. The chefs and accompanying staff in the kitchen made brilliant meals. Always served to out efficiently and within a quick and efficient time even during during busier periodsmghroughout our stay. The night porters were both very friendly and do a grand job helping to keep the place clean. There are two other young ladies who also work behind the bar and serve food and they were also very friendly and helpful to us both. Our rooms were always kept upto standards. And I would suggest they aquire a well deserved award for their generosity and kindness to us whilst we stayed at their beautiful resort by the sea. The fireplaces are a sweet touch to add to anyone looking for a warm night during the Christmas Holidays.

Few bugs made their way into our rooms. But that's no fault of the staff or building. Just the seasons changing and the little critters also loking for a warm place to stay.

The property is situated a couple of streets behind the seaside front . (Which is easy to get to, approx 10min walk). This makes it peaceful and quite. There is plenty of parking at the front and at the back of the hotel. The Decor is lovely and welcoming. There is a restaurant and two bars (both serve delicious hot food). The rooms are clean and spacious. There is a huge garden at the front of the hotel that has seating areas (some covered) and a permanent bouncy castle . The staff are friendly and helpful . Service is good and your are made to feel welcome by all.

The only thing that they could improve on (in my opinion) is the breakfast. There is only one price .. so if you only wanted say .. beans on toast . You’d pay the same price as a full breakfast. So maybe they could offer a “build your own breakfast” at Individual item prices. There is a separate price for continental breakfast too. Apart from that .. it’s a great place to stop.

Plenty of parking, friendly staff. Very nice room

We arrived on a foggy night in the dark at the corner of the Cul De Sac at the end of which is the hotel, there is a huge sign there that says Vine hotel. The postcode had taken us to the wrong property with a large sign announcing the hotel. The sign should be adjusted to say 200 yards and an arrow. We had to apologise profusely to the couple we disturbed. They. Told us quite a few people had made our mistake.

Beautiful hotel. Staff where fantastic couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the cheesy napchos where delicious. The grounds where beautiful. Thank you for your hospitality.

Picking really as it was beautiful. Bed to soft. Room very warm. There was a fan but didn't want to hear it all night. When we looked at reviews said near beach as that is what we went for metal detecting. It was no where near the beach so a little disappointed. No brown bread for breakfast. But peace and tranquility.
