A lovely period property in a town location, beautifully finished and presented with large comfortable rooms and wonderful views over the town roofs to exceptional country. Breakfast was a delight which we both felt far exceeded the quality of most hotel food. Our host was extremely helpful and immediately offered help to resolve the difficult situation we found ourselves in with regard to the booking error for our 2nd night at the property.

Too firm bed.

Breakfast was very good. Adjustments to the list of options were undertaken by the hosts if at all possible. With SECURE PARKING and the location just off the main street there was plenty to do within walking distance. If we did need our vehicle, arrangements could be made at breakfast time and host's mobile number enabled guests to keep in touch. Very handy for touring North Devon and Exmoor.

I only needed a one night stay whilst collecting a pup from the area. So basically a clean comfy bed and breakfast . What I got was an immaculate room , tasteful decor throughout the property, lovely comfy bed with quality bedding. No noise from other guests, lovely conversation with John and an excellent breakfast . My wife was due to travel with me but was unable so John very kindly made me a ‘ to go bacon and sausage sandwich’ for my journey home . If in the area again I would happily stay and would highly recommend it.

Parking was a little tight but nothing too difficult.

Quiet, calm peaceful place to stay so relaxing, this is our 2nd stay and it won’t be our last breakfast was amazing, so full we didn’t eat all day, well worth the money

car parking is a bit tricky but I’m not very good at parking so parked in cattle market car park only a 10 min walk from property - this was totally our choice

John provided a delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Our en suite room was spacious and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for John in making our stay a pleasant one.

Everything was perfect. John and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The room was large and it was very clean. John offered many trip advices to us. The breakfast was perfect (the best full English breakfast I've ever had). It is also very quite at night.

Lovely small B&B, everything quite new and great designed. Lovely owner, who gave us great tips for places to visit. Very nice breakfast.

Unfortunately, there are not many spaces in the town for dinner, so you always need your car to go to one of the surrounding towns.

The host was very kind and allowed a much later check in for us when we got delayed and were arriving by bike. The accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The food he prepared was also delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Excellent B&B. Very comfortable and location right in the centre of town. The breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice and John was great host, providing lots of suggestions for places to go.

John our host could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Just by allowing us to, and setting up the dinning room for us to have an evening meal in & a drink. Was very much appreciated after a very long day of walking.
