We initially booked four for dinner, then changed that to ten when more family wanted to join us, then changed it back to six when their plane was delayed... none of this was any trouble for your staff, who were very supportive and can-do in the midst of our changing arrangements. When the others finally made it from the airport, they were welcomed, seated and fed with no fuss, and we were able to enjoy our evening together. We all, two teenagers included, enjoyed being able to use the pool & gym.

We like an open window but did not enjoy the _continuous_ traffic noise from nearby motorway(s).

Room view was perfect, with interesting riverside walks right & left. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Evening buffet was amazing including some good choices for vegans. Staff very helpful

Room could have been a little bigger. Room wasn't cleaned thoroughly first morning with some dust on surfaces. Not all products replenished. Children used the swimming as a toilet. As helpful as the restaurant manager was, she insisted on giving me a sorbet containing sugar, which I'd told her I don't eat. Sugar can make me very ill. (My husband ate it.) Most disappointed to hear the hotel is about to become a Warner Leisure Hotel. I would have rebooked but now, never.

Wonderful location on the river with amazing views . We had a good quality sandwich lunch on the River Terrace . Very helpful and pleasant staff . Well equipped room with a comfortable bed and nice pillows . Good breakfast with lots of choice . Reasonably priced wine list .

We weren’t keen on the buffet dinner . It seemed to be a mish-mash of dishes where nothing really went with anything else . Quality of individual dishes was variable . Starter buffet was fine , desserts were good but the mains were a disappointment. People in the bar were having fish and chips which looked excellent but that wasn’t an option in the restaurant. We thought the buffet was a waste of a nice restaurant with fantastic river views .

The hotel is big and impersonal from the outside but managed not to feel too ‘corporate’ once inside (although it was busy). Staff were very good. Nice lunch in the lounge area looking out onto the river. Excellent spa especially after 6pm when adults-only. Nice location next to the river. Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Nice atmospheric lighting throughout. Good breakfast.

Only evening meal offer was buffet which was ok but not great for the price. They have another restaurant on site but it is closed in the evening which seems a shame. A la carte dining option would be much nicer.

Great location for airport and very pretty by the waterside. Room was lovely and always good to have a proper coffee machine as well as a kettle

Did not know that there was some kind of building work going on. I had a headache after a long flight and wanted to sleep during the day - there was constant drilling going and on and also room was opposite beauty room so people chatting made this impossible. It is also a very busy hotel - lots of functions and meetings so not easy to find a quiet place.

Very buzzing place over bank holiday weekend. Room was fairly big and comfortable bed. Shower and bath were very modern and stylish. Attentive and informative staff. There was a fold-out table hanging from a wall which was useful but I have never seen it before. Car park was very close and plenty of space so that I don't need to drag my bag too long. The river is just outside and plenty of sitting area where you can have meal, drinks. Very tranquil.

There were lots of group of people and the place feels a bit like an airport hotel.

Breakfast was very good with a great choice of food and the light meals in the Lounge were very tasty (we didn't have dinner). The room was very comfortable and clean and had a lovely view of the Thames and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The noise of the air conditioning was a little annoying, but better than opening a window and hearing aircraft and the M25! It would have been helpful to have instructions for the coffee machine (they are all different).

Breakfast was extensive and tasty, great value for money! The spa facilities were also some of the best I’d experienced in a spa hotel at that price! Staff were super friendly and considerate and the location lovely

Having a more extensive evening meal menus would have been nice as we felt that we couldn’t justify the £35pp food price as that would be a lot of food to eat and the bar menu a little low on choice so we ended up leaving to go to a restaurant in Egham when we would have happily stayed at the hotel and had drinks and food of choice more suitable

it was incredible comfortable, from rooms ,lounge, swimming pools .lovely outdoor pool which was well heated, staff were always polite and helpful and efficient, they even seemed to keep a little eye on our small boat which we were allowed to moor just outside .

the main restaurant was buffet, food ok but personally I prefer a proper restaurant, the bar snacks at lunchtime were not great very large and a bit tasteless. Breakfast ..please show the cook how to do a soft boiled eggs mine were rock hard

My room was lovely with a view over the river, it was very comfortable and adequate for my requirements however my preference is always to have a separate shower from the bath (or no bath at all) for reasons of safety and ease of access. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, you couldn't have asked for more. I so much enjoyed eating the delicious choice of foods at a table with a view! Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I prefer a separate shower.
