Free parking in front of location (off road). Room 1 had a lovely spacious en suite shower room. The room was on the ground floor and very clean. There were internal wooden shutters across the window which blocked out any noise from the road. No noise from train line at all. There was a mini fridge in the room with fresh milk for a brew. Comfortable proper double bed with 4 pillows. Breakfast; crispy bacon and pancakes beautifully presented. Pot of proper tea. Lovely hosts. Able to park earlier than anticipated.
Room scent in the en suite was a little overpowering.

Helen and Scott were great hosts attentive and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The room and bathroom were immaculately presented with fresh milk in the little fridge and homemade cupcakes on the dresser. There was a good range of breakfast choices with the same attention to detail given to the dining facilities as with the room.
The 24hour service station opposite was a little disturbing during the nights but this was dealt with by closing the, useful to have, blackout blind and the window.

Helen and Scott were brilliant hosts, very friendly and helpful. We chose breakfast from a menu the evening before, and it was served the following morning as ordered: hot and delicious. Our stay was exceptional vfm.
The guesthouse is well presented, clean and an attractive property. However, it's distance from the seafront and town, its location on a busy road and opposite a petrol station were disappointing. Not anyone's fault, just an observation we made.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a great stay. Helen and Scott were extremely accommodating and very friendly. The bed in our room (2) was super comfy I had 2 great nights sleep! The room facilities went above and beyond and there was even a treat of 2 homemade butterfly cakes for us on arrival 😋 The bathroom and shower facilities were second to none. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Overall an excellent experience I would definitely recommend 👌🏼

We were made to feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. Abingdon is very much cared for and you can see that the owners are very proud of their business and want their guests to enjoy their visit. It is so clean and welcoming and warm and inviting. The breakfast was amazing and we feel we have not had one cooked any fresher elsewhere. The welcome cakes in the room on arrival were delicious and didn’t last long either !!
nothing at all

Loved it. Lovely and clean and really lovely hosts. Lovely touch in the bedrooms on arrival with freshly baked muffins in a glass case and fresh milk for tea & coffee. Very comfortable bed. Shower was great too. Breakfast was delicious which was pre-ordered the day before. All ingredients are of a very high quality. We especially enjoyed the full English and the pancakes (yum yum) 😋

Everything . Helen was the perfect host nothing was too much trouble . Everything was spotless . The room was was lovely and decorated to a high standard with quality furniture throughout. The bathroom was adequate with everything that you would need . The shower was good after we’d figured out how to work it. The home made cakes were a very nice touch and delicious . The tea tray also very good with fresh milk in the fridge rather than uht milk . The bed was very comfortable . We had a lovely 3 Nights stay possibly the best sleep I’ve had in a while .

Good location with parking. Not in the centre but not far away to walk in which was ideal as we didn’t want a city centre location. Breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from and Helen ensured we had had plenty. The room was big, nice and quiet and the bed was comfy. Helen and her Husband were very welcoming and friendly. Overall we would stay again and would highly recommend

Excellent communication from Helen and Scott prior to our arrival. There is off road parking and the house is spotless. The room was spacious and had everything you could possibly need and I am sure if you wanted it Helen would find it for you! From proper milk in the little fridge to mouthwash in the bathroom. The bed was so comfy and the room was just a wee bit of paradise. You can tell how hard this couple work to ensure their guests have everything they need. This is one of the best B and B I have ever been in. Breakfast was excellent and at the standard that is so readily offered by this couple.
NOTHING!! It was all excellent and I hope they win awards for their efforts.

Great hospitality and food, there was a good choice for breakfast. Our room was a good size with lovely welcoming extras such as a cake each and biscuits. Plenty of choice for drinks in room including water and the little fridge was so welcoming for the fresh milk Bathroom a good size with lovely power shower. Location good, about 15 minutes walk to the sea. Onside parking a bonus.
