Breakfast was a very nice location within the hotel. Breakfast had variety but some elements were poor, like the fried eggs were dried out and hard, scrambled eggs looked made from a powered mix. Interesting to see the expense of providing proper honey comb but I feel it would be better to offer decent sauce condiments instead of cheap alternatives. Code was pretty poor.

Staff were very friendly and attentive when directly approached but I was surprised that in general there was no eye contact or friendly ‘hellos’ when passing in corridors etc, especially cleaning staff. It is always good policy for staff to actively acknowledge, greet visitors at all times. It’s just good practice.

Attentive barman and waitress. The evening meal I had ~ Tomato and Goats Cheese risotto was lovely! And the affordable package on the meals. The size of the room!

The cost for one night. I've stayed many times and the price varies so much (I understand during different seasons) however I wouldn't pay that again just for myself. When I arrived I ran a bath, I had filled the entire bath tub before any hot water started coming through! The full English breakfast was disappointing, the eggs were rubber like and the baked beans didn't look appealing. I understand that will happen when food is sitting a while but perhaps put out less and replenish more often where possible.

We were upgraded to deluxe suite on arrival which was very nice . We only wanted a light meal in the evening as we had had several fine meals prior to our stay and went for fish and chips in the Bar Food menu . It was exceptional and was far better quality than our earlier meals elsewhere . Thoroughly enjoyed and thoroughly recommended . The staff were very good and the food was quick and hot .

The breakfast was good but on a buffet style . The eggs were lightly cooked and runny ( My personal preference is for well cooked ) and the mushrooms were buttons and went cold very quickly ! BUT that is all my personal preference and I cannot complain really as there was sufficient quantity and quality !

This was a special weekend break, it was our 20th wedding anniversary, and we used to do stuff like the before our son (he's 13 now, yes well over due). When looking for somewhere to book it needed to have a gym for me, decent size pool for the hubby and sauna for the both of us. And looking at the pictures that came us this looked perfect.... Friday evening we came, it was night, and the entrance to the hotel with all the lighting was very impressive, (before getting to the main building). There was plenty of parking, and the reception area was impressive and very inviting, also the hotel has a golf club. Checking was friendly and quick, though I must add here somehow i booked a WC assisted bathroom (not required), and they where able to change this. Before attending I asked if they could put some kind of chocolate in the room for our special day and they did make us a little treat - they gave us a personal touch Our room was at the other end of the hotel (near the spa centre) and was a very nice size, was very happy with the way it looked and also that we could put the heating on and off (as it was very cold that day). We had a nice selection of hot drinks (though I often bring my own mug as the cups provided are too small to me for a decent cup), Extra towels in the cupboard, along with a duvet, everything you could need The gym was brilliant, clean and inviting plenty of equipment The swimming pool was a decent size that you can do laps and have a good swim, and the sauna is perfect Breakfast in the morning was my favourite meal of the day, there was a buffet of scrambled and poached eggs, mushroom, sausages, beans & tomatoes a selection of breads and pastries. cereals, fruit and hot drinks. You can also make requests from the menu on the tables, there may be a little charge for these, however not much, and you could ask for meet free sausages, and the also had Soya, Lactose and gluten free, all are catered for The staff where always happy to help

Everything about the hotel itself was extremely good. The room was clean and bright with plenty of useful additions such as hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea, coffee etc.

This is a golfing hotel so expect noise, particularly in the restaurant in the evening. However, very quiet later, during the night. Unfortunately, not happy when someone from one side of my room jumped over his balcony to access a friend in the room on the other side of mine, passing my window. Rather unnerving. They did apologise when I went onto the balcony to speak with them, but it does seem there is not much of a barrier to stop such actions.

A beautiful, spotless hotel set within a massive golf course. The room was so clean and comfortable with excellent facilities. There were some great walks within the grounds. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from Uckfield and is very peaceful. The breakfast was great with a fantastic selection. You also got use of the health club which was a massive bonus. The staff were really friendly and professional and the evening menu was really lovely. The staff are lovely and helpful.

Unfortunately, the shower door got stuck when I tried to get out of it. Thankfully, once the steam had settled, I could get the door open. I reported it to reception. If you are a lone traveller I would suggest leaving the door open as it is a big shower and would not leak onto the floor.

The breakfast was really good with loads of variety. Restaurant was also lovely but i wouldn’t say it’s exceptional food. It cost the same amount as Pizza express and was a very similar standard of food. The view was incredible though and the spa - to-die-for although a family was hogging the jacuzzi :(

Dinner food could be improved slightly. The staff were hesitant to provide my partner with a gown and slippers even though everyone else was provided one? Apparently you have to have treatments which seemed unreasonable as every person there was provided with a gown and slippers.

Fantastic location and great facilities. Large number of parking spaces. Room was a very good size with all amenities included and a nice view overlooking the golf course. Bed was really comfortable and being able to use the well-stocked adjacent gym made the whole stay good value for money.

Breakfast could be improved upon with larger quantities of the cooked breakfast offered and more healthy options such as a greater range of fresh fruit and preserves. Also the in-room coffee and milk selection could be better but by no means was this poor.

Excellent sausages. Tasty ham and cheese sandwich in the evening. Loved the really hot and steamy steam room and the sauna in the spa. The room was really large and clean and quiet as was the bathroom. The bed was really comfortable too.

Breakfast was okay but the cooked breakfast was not very hot, nor were the plates, so unfortunately it got cold very quickly, which was a great shame. I was also disappointed that I had to ask for some cutlery when I ordered my ham and cheese sandwich in the evening as it came with chips and salad which would have been very tricky eating with your hands.
