Hotel was great. Well placed for our visit to Windsor Castle for the St George's Day Parade. We also managed a little walk to the Cascades in Windsor Great Park. Unfortunately, we didn't have much time to do much else due to spending too much time shopping in Bracknell earlier. The bar staff popped our food order in quickly - just beating the kitchen closing. The meal was lovely. Definitely nothing like the awful lunch we had at TGIF earlier. The room was bigger than expected and we made use of the iron and ironing board...very useful. TV available. Enough plugs as well. The bathroom was huge. Plenty of hot water. We would definitely use the hotel again.

The only reason I'm not giving a 10 is because the air con unit randomly came on and off through out the night. Maybe temperature related but to be honest, it wasn't much use...the window worked far better.

The service in the bar and restaurant were excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food and drink were very good.

The room was a bit dated and very hot (the AC was ineffective). The bathroom wasn't well equipped (eg lack of towel rail space and broken shower gel holder). We left our phone charger and rang to enquire if it could be posted to us at our cost. We were told that we would have to collect it in person- it's a long journey - if we lived nearby we wouldn't have needed to book a hotel! Bit disappointing.

I have lived and worked in the area and knew exactly where I was going. I didn't ask for a quiet room so I don't know why that is recorded. I was very aware that I'd be at a main road junction, and in fact I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient the secondary glazing is. The decor may be a bit tired, but the hotel is very clean, and has everything you could want. I felt perfectly confident there as a lone female traveller. It was a real home from home. The mattress on the bed was one of the best I've slept on. And the staff were lovely, really obliging. The cooked breakfast looked good and was great value; and the inclusion of parking is very useful in that area. I wasn't successful in using the wifi but I suspect that's me rather than the technology! I will definitely want to stay there again.

I can't think of anything, I understand that there is a refurbishment on the horizon and I hope it doesn't just become another soulless hotel.

From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted by friendly & helpful staff! I was very impressed by the bar & restaurant facilities at first sight and definitely wasn't disappointed when we had our evening meal or breakfasts. Our room was very cosy & was glad of the hot shower & very comfortable bed at the end of our long journey down. Plenty of space to hang & store clothes & the bathroom was a good size. The location was perfect for our trip & situated right next to the beautiful lake, can't wait for our next visit!!

Easy to find and convenient to get to Egham, Windsor etc. Property had all facilities required, our room was spacious and clean & tea making facilities welcomed. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Next to Virginia Water Country Park which was beautiful.

CAR PARK - notices stating you MUST pay on arrival & was not at all clear that you did not need to pay if you were a resident of the hotel. Consequently it cost us £15 to park overnight. Hotel staff were helpful but unable to refund the money as parking belonged to a private company - they advised us to contact the parking company which we will do.

Lovely big room and Bathroom. Facing the A30, which we knew, but hardly any traffic noise. Very comfortable bed and good choice of food for breakfast. The building is very well floodlit, a feature on the A30 but there were thick blackout curtains that kept most of the light out. The lake and gardens are next door, which we have walked around many times, eating at the restaurant, but this was our first stay.

The door below banged a couple of times.. Lots of notices about the hot water - and it was very hot.

Room was very good! Spacious, cozy, and the bed was very big. Bathroom was amazing with a very spacious bath and lovely shower. Breakfast was amazing! Plenty of options: Cereals, hot breakfast, fresh pastries and plenty of tea, coffee, and juices. Lunch and Dinner were also amazing! Great food overall and friendly service!

Floor boards outside of the rooms were very creaky and therefore made quite a bit of noise when other guests walked past our room door etc. No room service. Restaurant downstairs is great but room service for lunch would have been appreciated.

Bed size was good for 2 of us Cooked breakfast was lovely and very good value for money Location on top of Virginia Water was a bonus as we were in the area for a wedding

Rooms decor (especially bathroom) VERY outdated. The temperature in the rooms and hotel were ridiculously hot. Made me feel very sick, but once the Aircon has been on for a while it gets better. We were ontop of the main road so expect ALOT of noise. If you book via booking.com with breakfast included make sure you tell them when checking in. We were told breakfast hadn't been included when we paid on arrival. When it came to breakfast the guy had to leave us for 10mins to go check his other system. 1 of us had been charged by the hotel already for our breakfasts where the other room had not.
