I loved having a little table with comfortable padded chair to view the television from. The hanging rack was useful. I liked the quirky feel of an L-shaped room with windows two sides, under the slope of the roof. A single bed was well adequate for a single person. I loved the mint-scented hand and shower wash. It was easy to communicate with reception (dial 0) and I was helped with receiving hot water in the shower (wasted a bit of cold water unfortunately in the process). Those at reception were very friendly and helpful and the reception area attractive. The lift was conveniently just through the door beyond.

Unfortunately, the traffic on the road below was a bit noisy, so I did end up wearing ear-plugs. One day the default, as regards milk cartons, will move from animal based products to hopefully include soya or other plant-based milks.

Spacious, staff were nice and welcoming, felt safe as solo customer, bathrooms were a little dated but still had facilities needed. secure building to access into rooms so felt very safe to go about my stay without any worries. I would say would be great to have plant milks available in the tea/coffee provided by room (for personal preference/allergies) otherwise great stay, local to town centre easy to walk to and to watford station.

It is located in Watford at the spot that is allowing individual access to all local leisure and activities that town has to offer. With great access to Metropolitan Tube station, with plesent walk option via local park. Team always helpful and understanding. Although potentially parking ain tarea my be little bit more stressful. But there is plenty secure parking spots around just few minutes walking distance. Definitely great place to spend few nights and explore local area.

Some rooms my apper bit more cosy, than others,a specially after few stays. But to be honest allocation is always fair because it via online booking.

The staff were exceptional, nothing too much trouble. Location brilliant, 2 minute walk from watford centre, 10 minutes to underground for london. Quiet hotel, personal. Only had breakfast 1 morning but no complaints.

Not a complaint but suggestion would be upgrade bathroom to standard of the room itself. Our room was at 'back' of hotel above car wash and enterprise. The room itself lovely, but very warm which meant opening windows. During the night traffic was very loud and people shouting followed by car wash commencing early in the morning. There was a fan in room which helped with the situation. Again not a complaint as such, but just so people are aware.. May want to ask for a different room if given similar room.

more car parking than I was expecting and if none at hotel the off site car park literally across the road

I was in room 9 one ground floor and was happy to find a fan in the room and windows could be left opened in a secure way.room was clean BUT dreadful smell of smoke in it which didn’t clear throughout my stay. I think smokers stand just outside and it enters via bathroom vent. shame as I had originally booked an upstairs room and this was a supposed upgrade. not sure why it is necessary to take £50 payment from a physical card which I had to bring specially. will be interesting to see how long before refund arrives.

Not much options in Watford and relatively this is a great choice that I would stay again. With the same price there are heaven and hell in the Watford area, and this place is a heaven for me. Nice and spacious room and lobby for short meeting or waiting. Lift is fast, I have a bathtub in my room, and I love the long bench in the room where I can put my luggage and remove my shoes at the doorstep. Reception staff is friendly, 24x7 front desk + luggage is a plus for tourists.

Room a bit old but it is clean and does the job, so no complaints at all. Would be great if there can be an option to use the internet securely rather than an open WIFI. Prices fluctuate in a great range...

Modern, clean and well appointed

Extra parking is offered in the nearby multi storey car park at a special discounted rate but no instructions are given about how to enter the car park and make the 'deal' work. We were stuck at the entrance barrier and could not get in. We rang reception and staff came over to assist but they could not get us into the car park either! Clearly some staff training and an into leaflet or email/text explaining the process would be helpful.

excellent location. and parking facilities at Citi gade. friendly staff and big rooms. good amenities in room. hotel common areas are very clean and well decorated.

the shower is awful. it’s a tap mixer and the temperature changes constantly so was impossible to take shower. the bathroom mirror could be bigger and the lighting in bathroom better as it was very dark and when you put mirror light on it makes it hard to see your face in mirror when shaving. finally the carpets need changing. very old and aged and smelly in corridors especially.

I briefly stayed after booking last minute due to work. I was very happy after such a long day to be greeted with friendly & helpful faces. My room was spottless & the bed super comfortable. Great value & I booked again the following night. Great location as working at Leavesden studios. Highly recommened to pit stop & recharge. Also the bar serves until midnight which is perfect for a nightcap after a long hard day.

Directions on how to use the facility, looks small from outside, but really spacious inside.

The £50 which haven’t been refunded for over a month now. House keepers clean everyday so once anything is wrong when someone checks out, can be dictated in a week. One month is indirect exploitation. I think if I was told I wouldn’t get the money back immediately or after a week maximum, I would have opted out. Please look into this. And stop sending junk or unnecessary emails to people.
