Lovely location

I’m not sure how thorough the bathroom cleaning was as the loo didn’t seem to be particularly clean.

The rokeby suite, was well worth the fee i paid. really plush decor, bedding, 2 large double beds, large 50 inch tv with table and chairs. the bathroom was well equipeed with a large bath, and shower which had very hot water. The view of the gardens, fountains and the great outdooors was great - Really relaxing. Free buffet breakfast was supplied. The staff were very helpful on reception and I was kept well informed about the pool area if i required its usage. I could park my car right outside the doors, so my suitcase didnt get wet. I was literally 5 minutes drive from Harry Potter studios. There are a few pubs nearby for food and drinks, but I would recommend the Kings Lodge hotel a few minutes drive away. Excelent food, lovely atmosphere, and a great price for such quality.

Although my breakfast was free for my deal, it was a dissapointing start to my day. Over both days stay, it was chaos. The food was always tepid at best, or I could not make a small meal, as different items were never topped up, or well below temperature. In an hour, I struggled to get any milk, tea or coffee, or orange juice as it was never topped up or came out tepid. The staff seemed to run around with tiny jugs, or drinks containers, clearly not enough for demand. While it was included in my deal, I still had to go elsewhere to feed my family.

The building is stunning and even though there was obviously a wedding on the day we stayed it didn’t affect us at all. We stayed here because we had a trip to Harry Potter Studios booked and the location was perfect literally a 5 minute drive. We ordered room service of Caesar Salad and Fries and both were delicious

I only had two small issues:- When it’s summer nobody wants a quilt so it would have been nice to have a lighter option Also we couldn’t get our tv to work which wasn’t a big deal but after a long day we wanted to chill watching television

Perfect for a visit to Harry Potter Studios tour. We stayed in the Gladstone suite, with an amazing view and facilities. The hotel is situated around beautiful gardens, great for an after breakfast walk. The experience and hotel were better than we expected. Would definitely stay here again. Visited La Banq around 5 minutes taxi ride from the hotel for food would highly recommend.

The room has steps from bedroom to bathroom which may be awkward for people with walking difficulties. The room was also situated upstairs with narrow steps which again could also be difficult if you have walking difficulties

The hotel and it's grounds are absolutley beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They can't do enough for you. Breakfast was worth the money, a very good selection of food which fills you ready for the day ahead. The swimming pool wasn't busy at the times we went in, which was great and it was always nice and warm in there. The hotel is very close to Harry Potter Studio which was the main reason for our stay. We did go into London which was easy to get to from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

There was nothing we didn't like about this place.

The hotel was beautiful and our stay was perfect for our daughters birthday and our visit to harry potter studios. Reception contacted us prior to checking in to ask my daughters name and made her a birthday greeting and decorated the room for us. We used the pool area prior to check in as we arrived early and reception even supplied us with fluffy white towels. We ordered room service and the food was really good we all cleared our plates. My daughter unfortunately forgot/left a pair of dc martins in our suite and we did not realise until we returned from a 2 week holiday 14 days later. A quick call to the hotel reception and housekeeping had found the boots when cleaning, reception emailed us and asked us to arrange a courier to collect them which we did. We emailed reception the collection label and Paige packaged the boots up for us and also printed and attached the courier label !! Absolutely fantastic customer service during our stay and post stay, thankyou we will definitely be back next year x

Nothing the place is fantastic altho the roof in the pool area was in need of repair.

Location was amazing! We were in town for a concert in Hyde Park and for a trip to the Harry Potter studios. We were able to walk to Harry Potter (in 20 mins) and the train station to get a ride into Euston (a half hour walk to the station with a 25 min journey) The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! Peaceful, we spent time watching the birds of prey fly above. It’s so quiet, it’s hard to imagine we are so close to hustle and bustle. It’s a gorgeous and convenient oasis!

Some areas were tired, especially the pool area, (which was missing a part of the ceiling!) however, everything is clean, and we saw new carpets being fitted so we can only assume it’s all being slowly renovated.

Great location for Harry Potter studios. Reasonably priced dinner menu, and a wide selection of food for breakfast. Beautiful grounds to walk around. Some of the staff were extremely helpful, and even provided some help to us to avoid a problematic guest that was hassling us. Swimming pool was a nice size, and we managed to enjoy it with no-one else around.

Upon check in, the reception desk staff (possibly manager) didn't even acknowledge us, and continued to lecture the other staff on what was happening. We had to wait a long time for her to stop and finally let us check in. There was nowhere to put your things at the pool, so had to leave bits on a random pool chair. It was also quite dark.

The receptionist was really helpful and friendly when being booked in. The room was nice and clean, comfy bed. Bathroom was also nice and a good size. Enjoyed going for a swim in the evening, pool was always quiet when we went in there. Food in the evening was nice, reasonably priced too. Outdoor area is also nice, the water fountain which was used for a scene from Harry Potter.

Wanted breakfast one morning and the only option I was told by staff in the restaurant was £15 per person. Thought that was a bit steep for only wanting cereal for a child. Instead went to the nearest McDonald's which was 5 minutes away. The room was a bit warm one evening even with the air con on.

We were visiting the Harry Potter studios and this hotel is so close, approx 5 mins drive. It’s also off the main road so you can’t hear any traffic which is a bonus. We both had steak in the restaurant and it was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were also made beautifully at the bar. We used the pool and it was heated to a lovely temperature. Our bed was super comfortable.

It’s a little bit scruffy around the edges. The carpets could do with a clean and there was hair in the shower in the pool changing room. I also wasn’t keen on the fact that the pool changing room is mixed sex and doesn’t have any lockers.
