Staff were friendly and helpful, check in was quick and efficient. Room clean, lots of towels. Soap and shampoo were amazing as they were no paraben ect. Tea and coffee included decaffeinated options. Parking was an ncp a road away at a discounted rate so £4 for 24hours instead of £6.i was given 2 drinks vouchers and a 20% off food. 2 minute walk to watford town centre. Bed was perfect for me as I don't like a soft bed. Breakfast had continental and English options, cereals ect. They also had oat and almond milk as standard.

The food in the restaurant was actually very poor, they managed to make a green salad practically inedible. The vegetables on it had been microwaved too long and were tough. The chicken seemed precooked and reheated and was dry. The onion rings were mashed onion in a ring. They did refund me the full price, so a win for customer service.

breakfast wasn’t as well stocked as suggested however it was pleasant. no shower caps or individual toiletries (not keen on using toiletries that are already open and used by strangers) understand environmental impact but no conditioner and half used bottles that potentially could be tampered with. bathroom extractor fan doesn’t go off so whilst the rooms themselves are quiet the fan makes it difficult to switch off from. and construction next door started very early, unfortunately the leonardo can’t do much about that other than perhaps mention it on their website. The pillows were hard too which didn’t make for a restful sleep. however the positives far outweigh the negatives

The proximity of the hotel to the station was perfect for our trip. We were able to check in after 11pm, which was ideal, and we were even given a complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was extremely comfortable, with a superb mattress and comfortable bedding, and everything was as we liked it. The breakfast, though it cost extra, was well-received, and very good quality.

If I were to think of any gripes, it would be that the iron in the room was a little calcified, and that one of the light bulbs in the room wasn't working, meaning I had to swap the bulb out from another fitting.

Location for Harry Potter was great, hotel was lovely, staff was very nice. Really loved those nice little touches like orange flavoured water in the lobby, choclates in the room and that we were able to purchase basic nessesaties and some snacks in the lobby because we arrived very late in. Breakfast was an excellent value for money too. And although check out was at 11am, we were not rushed for our 12am driver to airport pick up.

Aircon was preset with not going below 18C, and keep turning off as was on auto setting. Normaly, not a problem for Londin, but on our days it was 30C and roasting. Still, it was fine once night, and we did not spend much time in the room during the day. So not really a complain. Toilet seat in our room was broken, I think? It was wobly, but still perfectly functional- i am sure it was just a fluke.Again, not really a complain, it was fine. Would like a bit less puffier pillows, but that's my own preferences and I was able to pick a "skinniest" one out of 6 in our room.

We Loved the Look of the Hotel, it was extremely clean and contemporary with out feeling too modern. It still felt cosy. I would actually Love to know what type of Mattresses the beds have, as it was Super comfortable and we slept wonderfully. We liked the Items of Food and drink available to purchase in reception and the quick checkout system. The Hotel is extremely Well situated in Watford. A very short walk from the Main shops and the Shopping center. And a Short Walk from Watford Junction Station. Most Excellent, Will be recommending and staying again. (I was serious about the Mattress, I would Love to know what type they are!) 😁

Can't think of anything Not to like!

The thing that stood out for me was the Room Service Breakfast: although it was expensive (and I could see little justification for the delivery to room charge on top); the quality and quantity was excellent.

The procedure for accessing the vending machine in the foyer was not clear: pay machine/pay at counter? As it was the latter, the next hurdle was attracting the receptionist's attention to release the door (I assume this was necessary as once it would open, the next time not.....so I gave up, walked down the road and bought what I wanted there.

We were looking into place to sleep while visiting the Warner Bros. studios tour and the Leonardo hotel was a very good option, at less than 10 mins walk to Watford Junction from where one can catch the shuttle to the studios. The breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed a couple of pints in the evening. You wouldn't say so, but the livelier part of Watford is just around the corner so it seems a good spot from which to explore as well.

There seemed to be coming tobacco smell from the bathroom. Big construction works are in progress next to the building and noisy work starts at 8 am, it's very quiet otherwise.

The property it’s self was beautiful, no complaints at all, and staff were fantastic and very helpful. The work that has been done, has been done extremely well and it really is a beautiful hotel.

Noise surrounding the hotel was quite loud, although it isn’t the hotels fault, maybe some sort of warning when you book. some of the breakfast items weren’t the best, mostly the eggs and no sauce that we could locate. Finding the parking was quite difficult, even with the map given to us. It seemed the wrong way round.

I loved the cleanliness, size of the rooms and the wonderful welcome of the staff who were engaging and fun with my family. They also allowed us to use the disabled parking at the back to the property.

Air con was broken so the room was very hot which made sleep disturbed. In the morning the cleaners entered our room - after we put the DND sign up someone switched it round to service needed. There was a smell of weed coming from one of the rooms and it was quite a noisy corridor through the night.

Lovely spacious room, great comfortable king size bed and en suite was clean and well equipped. Car parking was off site but just round the corner from the hotel. It was secure and very reasonable at £4 for 24 hours. (Hotel discounted rate) The hotel was only a few steps from the main shopping area and if you travel by train its not far.

Only criticism was that the duvet was a winter weight and the temperature was in the high 20 's. Nothing else to mention.
