Accommodation and de-accommodation without problems. You can leave your luggage in the luggage room. Wifi coverage fine. Cleanliness of rooms good. Breakfast Mon-Fri 6:30-9:30 a.m., weekends 7:30-10:30 a.m. Location to the Watford Junction railway is amazing.

Breakfasts could be more varied. I understand that these are typical English breakfasts, but of the vegetables there were only boiled tomatoes and beans. There is no cheese or ham (only fried bacon), also only bread in the sweet variant (with jam, nutella) or with butter come into play (I had the opportunity to eat in another hotel of the same group in another country so I have a comparison).

The location is great just next to Watford junction station, perfect to get into the city and for Harry Potter studios, it was a 3 minute walk to get there which we really enjoyed. The breakfast included every morning really helped for fuelling up each day, kept us full until dinner most days! The staff were nice friendly, and attentive, cleaning plates away and keeping the downstairs area very tidy.

The only issues we really experienced was the ac/heat in the room, it didn’t seem to warm up and only blow out cold air the entire time, which was a little disappointing. The bed was comfortable, however my bed light wasn’t working which was sometimes a little frustrating. While breakfast is good, the only thing I didn’t like is that there were no vegetarian options for the sausages and bacon, which I think really should be now as many people do prefer vegetarian. But overall good, the parking needs to be a little better, it is tight, and at the moment they’re having building works which makes it harder

Couldnt fault this hotel It was so central to where we wanted to go (HP Studios) literally a 10 min drive away! The room was spacious and comfy and clean and the bed was mega comfy! A BIG Shout out to the night manager as he was extremely helpful to us we got back late from the HP Studios and no parking! He went out of his way to find us a parking spot which we really appreciated a huge Thank You to him. Breakfast was lovely, everything you like was there. The sausages were great!!

I properly would say about the parking not enough of it!

Breakfast was good considering how small the serving area was. Location was easy to get to and right next to the train station. Rooms was of a decent standard, clean and tidy.

Thought the evening food was a bit pricey, but the portions were of a good size and decent quality so can kind of understand the cost. The car park at the back is quite small (approx 15 spaces) and not as secure as I would have liked, we were lucky to get parked when we arrived (3pm) as later in the evening there were no spaces left. There is a car park the other side of the train track though and some street parking.

Excellent hosts at reception who double up as bar / restaurant servers. Lighting throughout the hotel and rooms are creative and vibrant. Nice touch for the blue light in the bathroom, so it's not as bright when using it during the night. The shower was pleasant. Comfy bed and sofa. Food served in the evening was tasty and a nice spread for breakfast too.

Only negatives for me would be the rooms weren't quite as soundproofed as I'd like as I could hear people moving about in the room above, trains outside (however the location is next to the train station, so I'm not docking this in the points for review) and the doors slamming shut was irritating. Would be good if something could be done to have the doors close quieter as most people aren't considerate enough to close their doors gently. Lastly, the carpets are looking a little worn and used and need heavily cleaning or ideally replacing in the room (502 in particular) and the stairwell.

Great location for London, also when booking didn't realise breakfast was included.

During my stay Google aware of my previous search for accommodation in the Watford area displayed some options currently available and Holiday Inn Watford was among them, however the price was a fraction of what I had paid. Hence I followed the link to the hotel website and found that a 2 night stay at anytime in June, in the best double available would not come to the price I had paid. I am aware that many factors need to be taken into account when pricing of a room which I may have missed, however I can't think what would create such a price discrepancy. I will use booking.com again however I will do a little more research before selecting 'Book' next time.

Whoever takes care of the cleanliness of this place deserves recognition for a great job they are doing. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have visited in a long time. Proximity to train station- Junction is super convenient, about three minutes. Great place to stay when visiting Harry Potter studios. Reception staff was very friendly and helpfull, breakfast food selection great and it was fresh and tasty. Definitely exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel stay.

The only thing I was not a fan of was the mattress. Too tough.

The hotel smelt amazing as soon as we walked in. It was clean and the staff were welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and very well cooked. It was nice and close to the train station.

Our room was a twin accessible room. (Booked by mistake) the room smelt great until we opened the bathroom door. Unfortunately there was a sewage smell in there. The room had an interlinking door which I guess would have been used for a carer. Unfortunately we could hear the people very loudly in the other room. We could also hear the trains.

The hotel room was really nice, comfortable, quiet and spacious for 2 people. Cleaning service provided. Breakfast was good, offering eggs, beans, sausage, tomatoes, yogurt, milk, cereal and fruits + juice and coffee. Staff was really helpful. They have a storage room for your luggage after check-out. Around 50 mins to London Central by Over and Underground transportation (by train shorter but more expensive). The hotel is only 2 mins walking distance away from the station. I highly recommend this place!

The heating fan was not working in our room, however the receptionist brought us a portable heater in the room, and everything was fine.

Not many places were open nearby for food, and luckily the hotel were serving food still so managed to not go sleep hungry. The shower was also very nice and refreshing and had all the things I needed in the room The lights in the room are also very nice and cosy

Could've been more alcohol choices at the bar, and could've been a coke draught so it's not as expensive as me and my partner were incredibly thirsty when we came in. Also could've been more sugar because there wasn't enough for the drinks
